Excellent service, excellent food, special dessert. We cannot say enough about our experience. It made our celebration so perfect.

"Service just a little slow. Our reservations were at 5:30 because we had theater tickets at 8:00. I thought we would have plenty of time but we did not have time to finish our dessert. Our server was informed of our theater tickets. The food was delicious, just the service a bit slow.`"

"Morton's had great service, good atmosphere and above average food. We have been to many steakhouses and it ranks highly among them. On this trip, my filet was over cooked, but the wait staff quickly corrected the problem - this is the first time that has happened to me. Would recommend to anyone, and if you have to pick a dessert order the chocolate mousse!"

"We were not that impressed with our steaks at Morton's. We have had much better. The service was excellant. I will have to think long and hard about coming back. I had heard Morton"s has the best carrot cake in town. I can't agree. The cake was good and moist but the icing was not the cream cheese flavor I like.

"The restaurant is nicely laid out, quiet, professionally managed and staffed with quality personnel who made us feel right at home. Our server, Debbie, was highly knowledgeable of the menu as well as the history of Mortons. The food delivery timing was as it should be in a fine dining restaurant...no hurry but proper time flow from apetizer to salad to entree' and then onto desert. The entire dining experience spoke volumes to Management's ability to train and communicate Morton's mission in this very competitive business environment."

"Even though I asked the waiter to slow down the food delivery, he continued to rush us. With a bottle of wine,bread, an appitizer each, and salad each, our entree was placed in front of us within 40 minutes. Then our souffle was under cooked and uneatable. We then got into a bad discussion with the assistant manager who was the most impolite person I have even encounted in a restaurant. We won't be back."

"We had dinner at Mortons in Louisville on a recent Thursday evening before going to the Kentucky Center for the Arts to see Memphis. The service was good, however because the there were only a few other diners in the restaurant, our server was overly attendant. The food was good but not great, particularly in comparison to other similarly priced premium local restaurants. My wife ordered a couple glasses of wine that she expected to be $11 each and ended up being $17 each. We can only conclude our service didn't understand the wine that my wife ordered. To be fair, we didn't raise the issue with our server or with management. I think we will visit other restaurants before we return to Mortons."

"I heard nothing but great things about Morton's, so my husband and I decided to head there for our date night, instead of Ruth's Chris. The atmosphere was amazing, the wine was fantastic, the service was good, but that's about where it stopped. The steaks were cooked perfectly, but there were cold and bland. I've never had to add salt and pepper to a $50 steak before. I ordered the mixed grill, and my shrimp an scallops were both cold. My husband's steak was also cold. To be honest, he can grill a better steak than what we ordered. I don't mind paying a hefty price for great steak, but this was not worth the price, not even close."

"Morton's is a great place with a legendary chocolate cake. You can't go wrong with pretty much anything off the menu. The place is great and my only reservation against it is that, because of it being in the basement floor of a building, there was no cellular reception down there (neither Sprint nor Verison). The servers were all great, and helped with choosing the cut and "upgrade" of steak we preferred. Overall a great place."

"If you are looking to splurge on a delicious meal, this is the place to go! "502 Restaurant week and had to ask the server for the menu. At that point we lost him I guess he figured the tip wasn't going to be worth his time. Entre' came to the table and we had to ask for our sides as the server passed the table. The manager was just a few feet away from our table tripping all over Rick Pitino, we did not eat very much of our food and was never asked if we wanted it to go. (NO because the baket shrimp was like rubber). It was not a very good experience my first and last visit."

"Service was wonderful. Catherine was GREAT. Steak was cooked perfectly but it was cold. I understand you let a steak rest to rendure the juices, but by the time It got to the table it was cold. Sides were a litttle small for the price, but they were delicious."

"Made reservations on Valentine's day, which may be why it was so loud I could barely hear the 3 minute dissertation on the menu by our waiter. Overall the service was good and my Chicago bone in ribeye was excellent. However, my wife ordered a 6 ounce filet medium well and they brought it out dry and tough. We didn't ask them to bring out another one due to the fact that we had already been waiting awhile for our dinner.
I expected alot more from this place, to be honest. I have always heard what a great place Morton's was. You should expect to get a steak how you order it, especially when you pay $39 for only a 6 ounce steak."

"Service was a bit slow. We waited about 30 minutes between appetizers and main course. I didn't expect that for a place as expensive as Morton's. Mashed potatoes were cool when served, but great after they warmed them for us."
