Morton's The Steakhouse, the nation's premier steakhouse group, specializes in classic, hearty fare, serving generous portions of USDA prime aged beef, as well as fresh fish, lobster and chicken entrees. Morton's is famous for its animated signature tableside menu presentation: steaks, whole Maine lobsters and other main course selections, along with fresh vegetables, are presented on a cart rolled to your table, where the server displays and describes each menu item in appetizing and entertaining detail. The menu, which is the same at all locations, features a variety of favorite cuts, including a 24 ounce porterhouse, which is the house specialty; a 20 ounce New York sirloin and a 14 ounce double cut filet. Every Friday and Saturday nights, enjoy our famous slow roasted Prime Rib. Morton's Prime Rib is a double cut, served bone-in and roasted to a perfect medium rare. Due to limited availability of this item, we suggest you reserve your order when making your reservation.

"We decided to take our son for his 18th birthday. He loved it! The food was great! "Started off waiting 5 minutes or so to be seated for some reason, but snagged a booth. We both ordered the 3 course special for $109 total. Truly an amazing bargain...caesar salads, shrimp Alexander (OMG, sooo good), hash browns & grilled asparagus, two perfectly cooked filets, and then chocolate cake & key lime pie. Coupled with an excellent $39 pinot noir...great bargain. Has to ask for a doggy bag for the steaks. Can't touch this anywhere in Honolulu--and we eat out a lot."

"We enjoyed another delicious dinner at Morton's. Timothy and Ryan are very attentive and friendly wait help. My grandson, Avery, was thrilled with the Happy Birthday rendition and the ice cream with a candle for him to blow out. Also the hostess was very considerate. She took snap shots of us and gave us duplicate sets to remember the occasion.
It is my most favorite restaurant in Honolulu."

"The food was great and lived up to the Morton's name. The atmosphere however was not. Went the day before valentine's day and they cramped the tables too close to each other which totally ruined the ambience for a romantic pre valentine dining. You can practically hear the conversations going on around you. On top of that our table was super wobbly and shook everything as we cut our steak. And we were being very careful already. Nothing was done nor attempted to be done with the obvious problem. Just some lame pathetic excuse that it was a rental table that had to be brought in for the occassion.
It seemed that the only focus of the staff is on the food and nothing else. Extremely disappointing!!"

"We had a wonderful time. It was our 12th anniversary and they had the menu congratulating us on that. The food was perfect, but they did forget our side dish. I told them to just forget the item because we were already full and they ended up adding it into our take home bag. Leftovers the next day were just as good as the dinner itself. I will definitely be back again soon."

"I visited two steaks shop between these trips, one is the Morton's steak house and the other is Woifgang steak house.

I felt that the meat juices overflow from the surface of the meat , and the meat juices are not clear taste in comparison with Wolfgang steak house.

But The service , in particular that of the manager were splendid.
And the quality of the wine was very good."

"The food there was nothing spectacular, and definitely not worth the $216.00 spent, and that's without tip! The service was definitely, hands down, WAY better than the food! I can make a steak just as good if not better! This restaurant did not have any WOW factor to it's food. Go to Sizzler's or Red Lobster for a more reasonable meal. The only thing this place is good for is to try and impress someone that you are dumb enough to spend over $100.00 per person for mediocre food!"

"That day they called to confirm the reservation; The woman on the phone congratulated me (I was celebrating my promotion), we arrived & congratulated again, the menu was printed with "congratulations Nicole" on the top. But, the waiter didn't put my napkin in my lap. The waitress was nice, but I had to ask for the wine list. She explained the cuts of meat well and answered a questions, but seemed rushed. The baked ocean platter was succulent! My steak was over cooked, the grilled asparagus had too much vinegar drizzle, and the crab legs (or butter) was very salty. They gave complimentary after-dinner drink, then moved to bar to indulge in the drink and the bartender was the BEST part of the evening. Food wasn't worth the price."

"A group of us nurses had dinner that night to celebrate the New Year. We were treated like royalty! The waiter and maitre d' were attentive to our every need and made great dinner recommendations, the food was delicious and perfectly prepared and the hostess even took a group picture and gave us all copies to take home. "dinner got all messed up... our orders came out wrong. the waiters gave the wrong steaks to everyone around me on the table and no one really knew they had the wrong orders until lone of the people on my table asked the waiter if what he was having was the cajun rib-eye. the waiter told him no. thats when the waiter looked over everyone's orders and found out it was wrong. morton's did comp 3 dinners. even though that happened, i'll still eat there!"

"Entering Mortons through an elevator gives that special feeling of exclusivity and being greeted with formalfamiliarity,although I have not dined at this particular location prior, seems to states entitlement,my guests were very impressed from the onset of our evening out. The food, as always, wonderful, my only regret, the prime rib was not available. Service was superb; our server, attentive and very pleasant. "If you're going for the steak and steak alone, great choice. The desserts were also well-done. The sides and dinner additions were not very good. Definitely overrated and not worth the money. The atmosphere, service and experience was divine and would be fantastic for a group, however, not a place to go if you're focusing on the food or looking for a great "meal" alone. The steak (particularly the petit filet) was tender, flavorful and amazing, however, the double-cut filet was cooked unevenly and not as good. Personally, I do not plan to return on my own."

"This was my first and definitely will not be my last experience at Morton's Steak House. I am pretty particular re restaurants I dine in and felt the staff and the meal was terrific.

I will certainly mention my experience with friends and family and encourage them to eat at Morton's in Ala Moana.

Please thank the staff for giving us an enjoyable experience. It was my girlfriends birthday and I had heard of Morton's and decided to take her and her husband there. The staff also took our picture as a keepsake for her with no charge. I thought that was very nice considering the times we live in where everything has some kind of charge.

"The service at Morton's was fantastic, as well as their bread and soup. The business casual dress code set a nice atmosphere for a special meal with my girlfriend.

The reason I gave only 3 stars for the food was because only the soup was really special. The main course we got was the double-cut filet mignon. If you like the taste of just the beef than this is the place to eat for you, but my dad has made tastier steaks with cheaper cuts. Ruth's Chris definitely has a clear advantage in the flavor of their steaks. The deserts tasted okay, nothing great.

If you go to Morton's to "try it out", make sure you have a discount or a meal deal. Although it will still be expensive, you won't feel as bad when you walk out unimpressed like I was."

"If your seeking a wonderful night out with white table cloth service and exceptional steaks and side dishes,,,,ask for a table in Tim Hurd;s section....you will be taken care of with attention to detail with a dose of aloha.....when Michele,,,,the dining captain comes by with the liquer table...don't hestitate to sample some sambuca to end a beautiful meal. And oh, did the mention the pre-dinner martini's in the bar so expertly mixed and strained by the bartender;s Keith & Riki?"

"The bone-in rib steak was superb, perfectly cooked to perfection as ordered. The seafood was disappointing, very inconsistent. Stick with the beef, they know what they're doing here, after all Morton's is a steakhouse. Service staff was overwhelmed because the restaurant was at full capacity; our table of two felt forgotten in the rush. The wait was too long between cocktails. However, the bus staff was very attentive to our needs (as always)...kudos to them. Morton's is still the very best steakhouse in town."

"Food was fabulous. Portherhouse was perfect! We were a party of 6, having a business dinner, and every one of us were in awe of how perfectly the food was cooked and tasted. Would dine there again. Highly recommend. However, while our server was amiable and sweet, overall service does need improvement."

"We went to the restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and on opentable.com I asked for either a private room or a table set to the side for privacy. The restaurant staff did a FABULOUS job! My daughter felt like a princess. Her face when she was led to the private room, with the table decorated with confetti stars on the tablecloth and personalized menus was priceless. The food, as always, was excellent, and the service was outstanding."
