"The service was off for this establishment. I've been here many times prior and have never experienced poor service. We had to ask our servers one too many times for more bread, more drinks and they got part of our order wrong. Not the usual service for them."

"In all the Morton's we have dined in all across the country they never disappoint and the Denver Morton's was no exception. The filet steaks our party enjoyed were so tender you could cut them with a fork. Our waitresses were delightful and the management was very welcoming and hospitable. Try the Denver Morton's and then dine with them in their other locations. You won't be disappointed."

"Morton's is a fantastic restaurant for any special occasion. We were celebrating our granddaughter's 21st birthday and wanted to show her a really special time and Morton's did not disappoint us. The food and ambiance at Morton's is always first rate but there are a lot of really good restaurants in town. What set Morton's apart from the rest is the exceptional treatment they gave to make our granddaughter's 21st birthday extra special. They personalized our menus with a happy birthday wish to our granddaughter, the manager and staff personally came to our table to wish her a happy birthday, and they took a complimentary photo of us and personalized it in a birthday card from the entire staff. This is a birthday she'll always remember."

"Birthday dinners at Mortons are hard to beat. When you arrive, my birthday person was greeted very personably and provided a personalized menu. Between courses, we were given a free commemorative photo. The ambiance and service was great. The food was tops. The summer menu was full of good options and allowed us to spend our money saved on exquisite wine pairings. If you want to feel special on a special occasion, consider an evening leisurely spent at Mortons. They put the "special" in special occasions."

"We've been to Morton's before at DTC location, and in Chicago. We this was a special birthday celebration dinner and it was one of the worst dining experiences I've had, particularly considering the cost and reputation of Morton's. The food was fine, it just took almost 2-1/2 hours to get it all and the service was atrocious. There were 30-45 minute waits between each course. We had appetizer, salad, steaks, and dessert and it took ALL NIGHT. Our server was oblivious, so we complained to the manager when our main course hadn't been served after 2 hours. He seemed "surprised" and came back a few minutes later with some lame explanation about how our order had showed up on the "wrong computer" or something. Inexcusable. $140 for 2??"

"We enjoyed a 2 hour dinner with our family. The food was better than expected and the service was stellar. I would rate this as one of the top two dining experiences I have ever had. As an added bonus, when we asked for our picture to be taken with our phone, Joe (the manager) got the house camera, took our picture, printed it and gave it to us in a nice folder! Wow is all we can say."

"Morton's never fails to deliver a fabulous meal. We went for Mother's Day and my daughter and I ate off that menu, while the guys had the main menu. Everything was delicious, especially the cajun ribeye (yummy) and service was just the best. This place doesn't disappoint! Pricey, but then, you get what you pay for. Best of all, they gave me a complimentary photo of the family!! Wonderful."

"Every time my brother comes to town he makes sure he visits Morton's every time. This last visit was for Mothers Day and when we walked in the host recognized and welcomed him back. I especially like the personal touch. Thank you for a wonderful meal and great service. Another point is that I liked that you have a floral company delivering flowers to the dinner table. This was a very special touch to our meal and my mother was very surprised with the beautiful bouquet."

"I loved the personal touch I received for my birthday celebration. Personal menus, card, and picture from the restaurant was a great touch! Our server, Janis, was very attentive, informative, and added some humor to our experience. My wife and I really enjoyed our 1st time visit to Morton's. The Cajun shrimp appetizer was very delicious, although our Double Porterhouse for 2 had to be sent back due to it being under-cooked.
We ordered the steak medium, and it was initially served to us rare! The server even had a hard time cutting the steak to serve to us. The center was dark red and luke warm at best. This was the only downside to our dinning experience."

"Since most steak houses have really good fish my husband and I decided to order fish. My husband ordered the special on halibut and I ordered stuffed shrimp. Both orders were terrible. My husband's halibut was very dry and my stuffed shrimp was nothing but shrimp with a ball of crabmeat, which looked like it was from a can, on top. We were very disappointed and felt that they were frozen dinners. We will not go back."

"We go to Morton's once or twice a year because of the prices but every time we go we enjoy the food. We liked the specials they have for 59.00 with salad, seafood appetizer, filet, side and dessert. They also had very nice Mixed Grille selections. If you like steak this is a great place to eat. My son does not like steak but he likes the salmon dishes and they are very good too."

"We had friends in town for this past weekend and were looking for a nice place to eat. My better half requires a Gluten-Free diet and this was a primary focus when deciding on restaurants. We looked into several downtown fine dining establishments and found the Gluten-Free options at Morton's to be top notch. The list of options was extensive which is great to find. The evening was very enjoyable, the staff was knowledgeable about menu options and recommended dishes that were not only outstanding in presentation but the quality was second to none. I would definitely recommend Morton's and will now have a go to place downtown for future dinners when looking for great service and food."

"The service was exceptional. Everyone went out of their way to make my birthday evening special. We all loved our entrees and wine selection, just an overall lovely evening. The only thing that caught my attention was how poorly people dressed for Morton's. I know we live in Colorado and jeans are accepted for fine dining, but I have to draw the line at sweatshirts. There were women wearing sweatshirts!! Did they think they were at Chili's? I don't understand how you can disrespect an establishment that goes out of their way to create a special evening of food and cheer by wearing a sweatshirt."

"My husband and I got married last Friday March 8th and really wanted to have a special dinner to celebrate the day. The atmosphere was not what I expected, very loud and not at all intimate. Servers seemed to be working frantically. In this type of establishment, I would expect servers to have a small section to enable them to give great service. Our server was friendly, but slow. When he was finally able to tell us about the menu, he spoke so quickly I couldn't understand him. The prices were exorbitant for what was offered. We had the mixed grill, very unimpressive. The shrimp was overcooked. The food was not bad, but for what we paid, I would expect a lot better experience. We will not be back. Next time I think I'll try Shanahan's"

"I remember when Morton's was special. No more. OK dinner of rib eye and tenderloin, but we get better meat from Whole Foods and Morton's prices are astronomical for what you get. The service is still great: the overall rating is not the fault of the waitstaff. Bang-for-the-buck is miserable. We don't mind the prices at Elway's, which are equally high."

"Have to say I'm very sad to write this review. Morton's has been my favorite steak place for over 10 yrs. The last few times I've been the food has still been amazing but the service has been horrible. You don't go and spend that kind of money to get subpar service. There are way too many options here in Denver for a great steak at this same price point who are willing to deliver the service. This Saturday I booked my birthday dinner with them specifically to avoid the "52.80" crowd. Never have I had such bad service there. The waitress was an absolute mess and had to finally be replaced. "Have been to Morton's several times and this was the first time I walked out thinking that wasn't very good this evening. I know it was the 5280 Week, but the service wasn't very good at all. The server never came back to see if our food was o.k. and it took way too much time to get our check, because she was too busy talking to another table. I also thought it was alittle strange that never once did the staff say anything about the 5280 Week special going on that evening."

"We had a large party of friends when we went. They were very accommodating. Joe, the manager, was great. It's a bit pricy of course, but the food was excellent, the ambiance was excellent, we had excellent wine, and our wait staff was excellent.
I can't afford to eat there every day, but it's certainly going to be a destination again in the future!"

"From the moment we arrived we were met with smiles as we were escorted to our reserved table right away. Our waitress was also very kind and answered any questions we had. The food came quickly and aimed to please. My wife and I shared a beefsteak Tomato with Blue Cheese dressing and finely chopped red onions on a leaf of lettuce. It exceeded our expectation. My wife ordered the 6oz filet mignon and I couldn't help but have a small taste. The medium cooked filet melted in my mouth. The filet was almost as moist and tender as the Chilean Sea Bass I ordered which was plump and dissolved in my mouth with the compliments of the amazing wine sauce that covered it. We also had the Creamed Spinach, Chocolate Molten Cake, and Key Lime Pie. Perfect!"

"We had visited Morton's freguently when it had a location in Greenwood Village. Now we will become downtown Morton regulars based on our recent last two experiences. The dining room is inviting and warm. There are sufficient menu selections for broad appeal. This time we tried the five spice steak and it was excellent, unique and prepared exactly as we had requested. The recent additions to the menu added welcome new choices.The wine list remains as superlative. The service was everything you could hope for and found. All in all Morton's hasn't missed a beat. You won't be disappointd."

"Morton's is a main-stay for my husband and I; it has been for many many years. Our grown children find that it's only Morton's for special occastions - Joe Mirrelson is an amazing man, runs an always-dependable restaurant-retreat with detailed perfection. We dine at Morton's frequently-and ALWAYS ALWAYS stop by to pick up a slice of their carrotcake to-go when we're finished with Rockies games. Actually, for years their carrot cake has been ordered as our appetizer. Irresistable. Morton's crab cakes are to die for. The scallops and escargot are amazing. The salads are always wonderfully chilled and presented so well. Their beef is fork tender no matter what you order. The stuffed chop gives you the shivers it's so awesome."
