"A wonderful dinner and comparatively quiet for the two hard of hearing members of the family. We had a slight delay in some arrivals due to car trouble but the staff was very understanding and kind about the whole thing. That we're attentive without hovering."

"My boyfriend and I LOVED Morton's! From the moment we arrived entire staff was so welcoming and kind. Fantastic warm onion bread came right away- excellent waitress - huge portions - made all the changes I wanted to my meal. My lobster tail was sweet and tender (not chewy like many places I've eaten the same dish). My boyfriend's steak was excellent - might have been a tad bit more tender but overall an excellent cut and nicely prepared. Skip the chocolate mousse unless you love very very sweet desserts- I would highly suggest they switch to DARK chocolate mousse with less sugar but otherwise loved this place and we sure plan to return- a huge menu and there were many dishes we still want to try! Great, romantic ambiance also"

"There was a bit of a rough transition after the Landrys Group took the reins of Arnie Morton's in Burbank, but it seems like most has been righted. We had a few less than stellar experiences with weak service and food not prepared to our requests, and this was one last chance for them to show us that they could come through and meet our expectations based on the old Morton's standard.
Well, they tried very hard and succeeded! Food prepared perfectly and service was friendly and efficient. I do like the expanded menu and there are numerous items from the old Morton's menu to keep fans happy.
Will definitely be back and definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you guys."

"Not Impressed with the steak or the side dishes.
Waiter brought mashed potatoes instead of the Au Gratin we ordered. Ate them anyway, they tasted like instant mashed potatoes.
My $200 meal was no better than a $60 meal from a chain restaurant.
The restaurant was empty save for two tables of loud businessmen, and we were seated right next to them.
Ambiance was terrible.
Very disappointed.
Never coming back."

"We went because we had been given a $100 gift certificate as a present. Dinner with tax and service was about $200. It was a nice meal and the beef was good but it simply was not a $200 dollar experience, not even close. Also my wife had ordered an offered early bird special and the waitress took it and so far as we know put it in. However a manager of some sort came over and said no more specials. He did not say it was unavailable. He simply took it away. This was very bush league. If fo no other reason we will not return."

"Arnie Morton's was our favorite steakhouse in L.A. for many years. Sadly that's no longer the case. Arnie Morton's has become just another corporate restaurant. The porterhouse steak is still very good, one of the best, but, the side dishes and the service have gone downhill. Gone is the presentation, replaced by an ordinary menu. Gone is the personal attention of a manager and now gone are we as diners."

"This place must be a biz hangout for the WB people. It was D E A D on a Friday night. Not only that, the decor was pathetic. "It was Valentine's Day, so the restaurant was extremely busy. My fiancee and I were served in a timely manner -- a little slow, but we knew it was the third busiest night of the year. However, two tables around us (both with five or more) were served extremely slowly. In fact, one of the tables had not even received appetizers in the hour plus we were there together. It wasn't our problem, but they're impatience was obvious and made things a little uncomfortable. Other than that, the steaks were juicy and flavorful, and the night was well worth the price."

"We understand that Morton's, like many restaurants, was busy because of Valentine's Day, but service was sub-par. My husband and I went for Valentine's Day this year, and were not impressed. Our server charged us for sauces that we were not told cost extra. She also failed to check on us or take care of drink refills. Rather than have an enjoyable night, we wasted time wondering where she is, and whether we would have to ask another server for assistance."

"I was there for a business dinner. I had to send my steak back 2 times to cook it as I orignally ordered it. That is the first time at Mortons I had to do that and it was a little embarassing to send back twice in front of my dinner guests.We were told to have a couple of desserts on the house however when looking at the bill the next day, we were charged! That bothers me a bit. Do not offer something and then add it to my bill!"

"Surprisingly the steak was mediocre at best. After a Christmas celebration at The Palm two months ago I can attest to it being by far the superior steak house. Probably most surprising was the poor service on this Valentines evening. Our server was very attentive and the manager even stopped by twice to check on us, both of which would normally be a plus. This occasion however much of the attentiveness was spent apologizing for the kitchen which was very slow in preparing absolutely everything we ordered. It was intended to be a fine dinning experience but turned out to be an all night experience waiting endlessly for everything. You expect much more in both quality of signature food served and the timely service for a $250 meal for 2"

"Most perfect steak I ever ate. It's the first time I ever wanted to savor each morsel of meat as long as I could. The sides were all excellent, too. Service, on the other hand, was efficient but not particularly friendly. At Morton's prices, it should include a shoe shine and story time. Or at least a few smiles."

"I love Arnie Morton's. Great everytime. One thing though, I think the steak scale is off. What I mean is if you like Medium Rare, order medium. Last few times to Morton's I have ordered my medium rare and the steak will be rare. Simple send back no problem. I still love the place."

"Haven't been in years but was pleasantly surprised. Steak was very good as were the sides. A little disappointed that they don't do the "show" anymore (where they bring raw steaks and a poor live lobster around) but that's fine. If you can't get to Mastro's, this is a good alternative."

"Took my wife on a Sunday night to celebrate Valentine's Day early. I ordered the mixed grill of filet mignon, shrimp, and scallops. She ordered the special, filet and lobster tail. My order was fine. My wife ordered her filet cooked medium rare. Her fillet came out half medium rare and half well done, charred hard on the bottom. Both filets looked smaller than the advertised 6 oz. The manager brought out another larger filet and it was cooked perfectly medium rare. Later in the meal, my wife ordered a coffee, which came out lukewarm. The refill was hot. At the end of the meal, our check contained an error. This was corrected. Although my meal was fine, my wife's experience was spoiled because of the number of problems that we experienced."

"We arrived at 7:45 p.m. for an 8pm reservation. We sat in the bar as the host said they seat right at the res time. Well at 8:15 I went and asked if our table was ready and he said "oh are you ready?"....whatever. The food was good and the service was ok."

"From the special drinks to the dessert menu, Morton's has a great selection of delicious, mouthwatering food. For our party of seven, the service was a little slow and the noise level was high, making it difficult to hear what friends across the table were saying. Dining at this restaurant is a culinary delight!"

"The filet mignon was excellent! The service was good. The only downside was the lobster tail, it tasted as if it was soaked in ammonia, as if to get rid of a fishy smell or taste. It was however their special and usually restaurants tend to put fish on the daily special when it needs to be sold, thus it is no longer really good. Knowing this I should have passed on their special but I thought this steakhouse would be different considering their prices."
