"Manolos remains as good as ever. Another outstanding meal with excellent service and lovely ambience. Any fish dish is excellent, but I went with Manny's recommendation of the red snapper with olives in garlic sauce. To die for! Spouse's osso bucco was also a winner. Sangria whether white or red is delicious as is the house white bean soup. Save room if at all possible for the Spanish cheese, honey and nut dessert or the crime brûlée."

"Not in the toniest of neighborhoods Manolo's is nevertheless itself quite a lovely restaurnt. We chose it because it is only ten or fifteen minutes from Newark airport. It was an excellent choose, fine Basque food (not that I have any prior Basque meals to compare), carefully prepared and well-served."

"We found this restaurant as highly rated, and they did not disappoint. The decor and atmosphere are lovely and quaint. The food is excellent. They used fresh herbs and seafood, and both entrees were outstanding. Service was exceptional. All of the wait staff were attentive, and our head waiter even offered us a ride to our hotel since his shift had ended! We will definitely look for an opportunity to return to the Newark area to eat here again."

"We had reservations for 9:00pm and we had to wait 40 minutes for a table to become available, after we were seated it took another 10 minutes for the waiter to come to our table to take our order. The food was excellent and once the waiter took our order he was very attentive,just for the food alone is well worth it."
