Grove Artisan Kitchen at Miramonte Resort & Spa
The Grove Artisan Kitchen is known for its "farm to table" fresh seasonal California cuisine featuring ingredients from local artisan growers simply prepared with time honored techniques. Local and regional farms and ranches are credited to create the most enticing restaurant menu in the Coachella Valley. The menu features organic produce, "home grown" fresh herbs, farm raised meats and poultry, fresh Pacific seafood, house-made pastas, prime dry-aged meats and innovative vegetarian or spa oriented dishes to compliment The Well Spa. Heart healthy dishes are designated on the menu with The Well Spa logo to further promote wellness. Presentation style will be very simple and uncomplicated with focus on the intricate balance of flavors.

"We celebrated my daughter's 25 birthday at the Miramonte Resort. We decided to stay on site for dinner and chose Artisan Kitchen. Our server was fun and fantastic! She was engaging (remembering each of our names) and playful.(joking at the loud, immature frat boys celebrating their Orchid Ball with their parade of dates!) The food was not as awesome as I had hoped for but it was still delicious and worth not having to drive elsewhere. The patio al fresco dining in the warm desert evening was awesome. I can't imagine sitting inside with such wonderful evenings."

"Everything was very nice. My only other comment is regarding the reservation hour. Online reservations made through Open Table at 4:45 were not available until until 7:45 When I called the Grove directly, I was also told that first reservation was available at 7:45pm yet when we arrived at restaurant the dining room was virtually empty. Confused as to why we couldn't dine sooner than 7:45."

"We have been to this Restaurant several times and it seems as though we have less and less impressed each time we go. This time we were very underwhelmed with everything. Service was satifactory, food was just ok not outstanding like when we first went there over a year ago. I do not think we will be back.

"We were impressed! We both had the lobster bisque and the sea bass. Both were excellent. The sea bass in particular was surely the freshest I ever had. Service was friendly and exceptionally prompt. The atmosphere was nice casual and very pleasant. We opted for eating outdoors. It was a beautiful evening and we enjoyed the setting very much."

"The food was superb and prepared exactly as we asked. I ordered a small birthday cake, and that was forgotten. However, I mentioned it to the waiter, and they had a wonderful small chocolate cake with a candle on it in no time. We were happy with everything."

"Miramonte is improving and making a great effort. It is a beautiful spot and the service is good. The food is well presented - not gourmet - but certainly edible. I had the spinach salad which was quite good. The others in my group had hamburgers. One had to be returned and cooked more. The other was fine. One in our party had the chicken caesar which he said was good. I would go back again."

"The food was good, service excellent. However, the atmosphere was like an old motel dining room. The lighting was bright, colors were dated, high ceilings, just old. There was an outdoor seating area, but it was too cold. Would not go back until lots of renovation so that you feel as if you have dined in a place that equaled the food and the cost."
