The Margarita At Pine Creek
The Margarita at Pine Creek, named for The Margarita Daisy, has been an independently-owned local restaurant for over 35 years. Known for our Comfortably Contemporary Cuisine, we feature daily changing menus emphasizing on seasonal ingredients with local products being used whenever possible. Complementing the food, we offer a full bar with specialty margarita and martini menus, our Wine List features over 75 bottles of traditional and obscure varietals. The Kitchen's eclectic approach to cooking as well as warm service and relaxing atmosphere has earned awards from both critics and the community.

"The name doesn't mean what you think it does. I was expecting upscale mexican--what I got was locally sourced and fresh ingredients in a wide variety of american and fusion dishes. This restaurant delongs in a big cosmopolitan city, and Colorado Springs is lucky to have had it for almost 40 years. Our server was one of the best I've ever had while not being too stuffy or formal--she knew exactly how and when to enter our conversation and could not have done a better job. Even the quirky court musicians in the center of the room were interesting without being overbearing. And finally, after eating what I though was rich food, my sensitive stomach didn't pause a moment-- the mark of truly good food."

"I had not been to the Margarita at Pine Creek for several years and found it just as charming as I remembered. Their food is excellent; however, I do believe they need to expand their options of vegetarian and gluten-free offerings. I do not eat meat or gluten, so the options for me consisted of their salad and broccoli soup (which I assumed was vegetarian). On their Web site they indicate that if you have "dietary restrictions" you can call ahead and they will accommodate those. Unfortunately, I was unaware of that so was stuck with soup and salad. They were delicious, but I would love to see more options as many of the good, local restaurants are offering. Their dinner menu may offer more variety, so I'll try them for dinner."

"On this particular occasion, we enjoyed live music in the downstairs lounge and sampled several of the small plates. The phyllo-wrapped shrimp and the crab & spinach dip were excellent and the Sesame Chicken Salad was a treat - fresh, well-prepared and tasty! I rated the "noise" as "energetic" as the live music and the capacity crowd in the lounge fostered a happy environment and a great time was certainly had by all. We've traveled and lived all over the United States and beyond, and we've discovered precious few places with such a good "vibe" as The Margarita at Pine Creek. We're looking forward to our next visit!"

"Thank goodness the food was so delicious that it made up for the lackluster service. Having had my three year old in tow, I always appreciate swift service, especially when the meal is over and we would like the check. We had to literally run after the waitress after waiting an excusably long time. She said she was busy giving a tour for a possible wedding... might want to get someone else to cover your tables then or have tours make appointments so that your actual customers receive the service they deserve and pay for."

"This was our first visit. My wife and I took my mother for her 83rd birthday dinner. We went on a Saturday night so that we could hear the Baroque music with our dinner. Since we were not familiar with the restaurant, we did not realize that there are two separate dining rooms. We were seated in the dining room without music.
We enjoyed the food immensely. Everything was prepared with care and my mother was very impressed."

"Our purpose for visiting Margarita At Pice Creek was a wedding anniversary dinner. We had requested a quiet table, one out of the traffic flow. And when we walked in, the staff was aware of the request and we were treated to a small table in a little (and quiet)alcove. It was perfect. The service was outstanding, we were allowed some private and quiet time, but when the time for ordering, empty plates removed or needing another drink, our waitress was right there every time. The food was exceptional, and the wine pairing was matched perfectly to our dinners. We were extremely satisfied and would highly recommend this restaurant, especially for special events. Thank you for a great evening!"
