"I have never been let down at Mortons. They aways have above average service and if you're having a tough time ordering something delicious off of their menu, no worries because they can easily guide your pallet to the land of tasty. I would recommend Morton's to anyone who is a steak lover or just anyone who loves great food."

"I took my friend to Mortons for her B-Day. I had Manny as the waiter. He was very courteous friendly and his menu knowledge was excellent. He treated us as if we very special without overshadowing our table. My friend enjoyed her night so much that she wants to go back for a casual evenung there. That is exactly what we will be doing. keep up the good work. See you soon."

"Very very poor service by assigned server. Seems way over committed and not attentive. Food order was messed up. Did not get half of our dinner at the right time. Had to pursue and complain to get things done. having said that, floor manager (not the lead floor manager, but a floor manager), saved the day. Took charge, resolved problems, waived portion of bill, offered drinks, etc. That turned a very bad situation into a good one. Not a perfect situation (like you would expect from Morton's) but a good one. Thanks to him. Never saw the senior floor manager. In any caee, perhaps Morton's is not the best place for a busy day like this one - not enough basic servers, point. But the food is excellent."

"If you are looking for meat cooked right, abundant sides and very good service regardless of price this is a good choice. The service is very good but predictably corporate with its scripting. Our server was quick to engage in personal conversation off-training, but nonetheless the visit always feels the same, seasonal menu changes excepted. We do go back, but never to look for surprises."

"I am becoming more and more of a NON-fan of Morton's. I used to love the restaurant,I used to think their steaks were unbeatable, and while a bit pricy, worth the experience.
The past several visits, I am becoming more and more disenchanted. The steaks are horrible. veins and tendons through the meat, hard to chew. I ask for medium and it comes out raw. The price is ridiculous for the quality of meal. I frequently go down to our local butcher and get 10 times a better steak than I have been getting at Morton’s.
This past visit, it is obvious they have gotten too commercial… even the menu had a picture card of specials!!! Really... I expect that at Denny's, not where I am paying $400 for a meal for 3 people.

"Been to Ruth's Chris, been to Lawrys, and now Mortons. Didn't expect Mortons to have the best Filet but I was wrong. What was very impressive was the speed with which my water glass was refilled. I know that's a weird comment but that's what impresses me and the man refilling my glass was all over it."

"I have always loved Morton's and have been to a few different locations around the country -- usually a treat. Unfortunately, on this particular night, the restaurant seemed to be struggling with service coverage. We waited 15min to receive a menu, then another 15min to have our order taken. My steak was not cooked adequately (not their fault, I didn't ask for the right level of done-ness). But the server never came back to check on us after delivering food and it took us 20min to flag someone down to find our server. It was like the staff purposely didn't make eye contact with the guests so that they didn't have to stop.
With those prices and being what I consider a "special occassion" restaurant, I definitely expected more."

"I told the restaurant in advance of the event we would be celebrating, and they delivered personalized service. The host and our waiter were very attentive but not intrusive. The only reason the food didn't get an outstanding was for the sides. The meat was to die for. Get the porterhouse, you won't regret it. But the sides could stand some refinement. The baked potato is a giant potato sliced in half and served for two. Maybe it's the type of potato, but I was expecting light and fluffy, not dense and sticky. The bacon, onion, macaroni and cheese was very delicious...but once it started to cool it became grainy. Neither the potato or the mac would keep me from returning. I'll just try different sides next time. Overall, a great experience."

"Maybe an off night?! We were ignored by the waitress and had to go out of our way to get additional water and bread. One appetizer came out 10 minutes after all the other people were served at my table. My pork chop was rare, went back and then served well done, instead of medium. I have eaten there many times before and left satisfied. Some thing has either changed and it was an off night."

"I've been eating at Morton's for over 20 years (Santa Ana, L.A., Palm Desert, Chicago, Singapore and Hong Kong) and this was the first disappointment I've had.....server did not introduce himself and seemed uninformed on the days fare. In the past either a manager or someone comes by the table, this day No One. I had to keep looking for the waiter. TERRIBLE service. The only positive person was the lady working at the reception area. It was sad to see someplace that used to be my "go to" place for a good meal and great service."

"Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu, and provided us with some very helpful suggestions.
Our food was cooked exactly as ordered, and based on the suggestions from our server, my guest and I both enjoyed our meals.
My guest has some dietary restrictions regarding dairy products and gluten. The menu did not give us any specific information about what items were gluten-free. This is a very minor detail since our server was very well informed, and was able to answer our questions"

"My husband and I started coming to this Morton's in Santa Ana twice a year since 2006. For my birthday in Feb and for our Anniversary in Aug.
The last couple of visits have been subpar. This visit my husbands ribeye was ordered medium and it was medium well. They were out of
Creme Brûlée. They forgot my horseradish for my filet and the hollandaise sauce. The last time we were in my lobster was overcooked.

We brought another couple and it was their first time at Mortons. They were not as impressed as I hoped they would be.
I don't usually complain about anything but we spend quite a bit of money when we dine here and regularly purchase a bottle or two of Opus One.

"I was expecting be wowed and thought since it was "Restaurant Week" that they would display what all the hype is about this place. No such luck. It's nice. but nothing to write home about. Apparently my expectations were too high! On a good note...the Cheesecake was tasty!"

"For our 7 year anniversary, we decided to celebrate at Morton's. We sat in the more enclosed section of the restaurant, and all the staff were very attentive and professional. Albeit a little more on the salty side, the food was delicious."

"OC restaurant week dinner with a group of 5. The service was very good. Timing of food delivery was slightly slow, although we did have a reservation for the 7:30 dinner rush and the dining room was packed. Ani tunan tower was delicious, petite filet cooked med. rare + perfectly, lyonnaise potatoes yum!, creme brulee could have had a crunchier top but taste was delicious. Valet $5 or free parking to the side or behind the restaurant."

"absolutely the worst service ever, I couldn't believe we were at Morton's. There was a private event going on and everyone else was invisible, if short staff an apology would of been appreciated. Will never go back to this location."

"Overall, we felt like our dining experience was prepared and served by an apprentice. The food quality was VERY inconsistent throughout the meal. For the first course, I had a well made French Onion Soup. Three of us had the Ahi Tuna Tower for appetitizer and all three of the towers had differnt sizes and height. Two of the tuna towers had crumbled crispy wonton skin as the bottom layer and one of them did not have that layer. We all had Filet Mignon for the main course which was the best of the meal. Our side dishes: two of our Chicago Style Horseradish Mashed Potato was completely missing the horseadish while one of them had a very strong flavor of horseradish. The souffles were very disappointing. And our waitor was always missing."

"We were disappointed with lunch at Morton's. We had high expectations admittedly but we think rightly so. The service was efficient but far from friendly or welcoming. One personable gentleman interacted with us but he did not identify himself. Thank goodness for him. The food was mediocre and the salad was an embarrassment. We could not believe that their signature salad was all lettuce, mostly iceberg. It was our impression that the atmosphere was one of a "gentleman's club" patronized by regulars. We were told but did not experience that cigar smoking is allowed on the patio. We had to ask for the OC Restaurant Week menu(unlike at other participating restaurants). We would not recommend the restaurant."

"Went here with two friends to relax after work. The server got all three of our orders wrong and had the audacity to be rude to us about it! Worst service any of us have had anywhere. At the end of the meal, not only did the server not apologize, but he proceeded to literally throw the check on the table. The manager was very nice and tried to rectify the situation but unfortunately the magnitude of the rudeness of the server will preclude us from ever visiting this establishment again."
