Service is good but too causal. So noisy and talking loud and laugh to customers by servers. I prefer to expect more formal dining service. I think they need to change booths and chairs to new ones. SO old and not neat/clean to sit on.

"We've been here several times. The steaks are never as good as we would like. The NY strip was overdone, the steak (filet) and lobster were both a little mushy. However, the caesar salad is always delicious, one is enough for two. The sides are great. Sometimes I just get a salad, an app and sides and that usually works out best for me. The restaurant is comfortable, the service is great. Was a little noisy this Saturday night, but, still, we'll go again."

"The cream style corn was not the best. Years ago there was a restaurant in Marina Del Rey called Gulivers, its not there any more. The cream corn was the best. I talked to the waiter and got the recipe, It would be great with your steaks. Need to leave out the ham. Heavy cream, frozen corn, white pepper,butter,sugar.Steaks were great and cooked just rite."

"Everything started very well, attentive, personable. After the salad, things went downhill fast. We barely saw the waiter. We were promised that our red wine would be decanted and wasn't. We ended up serving ourselves our own wine.....after paying $49 in corkage..... Very sad situation. We were looking forward to dining here and ended up totally disappointed."

"Experience was awesome, food was okay. Steak is more under when requesting medium-rare so order medium if don't want red. Not served with any steak sauce/juice so can dry up a bit toward the end. Had a middle age female server that was very helpful and courteous for first time diners. General manager goes around room checking on patron needs. Can't complain about prices when already know reputation of the place. Dimly lit room for romantic setting and/or more for experience than the food."

"My "steak buddy" and I were at Morton's again this past Monday night. We both had the Chicago style bone-in rib-eye, which was delicious and perfectly done. We started with a salad, and ended with a shared creme brulee (i.e. one dessert). We had a glass (not a bottle) of wine each, and I had coffee . The bill (BEFORE tip), including taxes, was $214. Not exactly a cheap date...! If you're prepared to lay down the bucks, this is a great place for a delicious meal for the meat-lover."

"This location has changed somewhat. For a steakhouse, not getting the steaks brought table side for selection was a downer. The signature cocktails have a lot to be desired as well. I will go back but I miss the old Morton's BH class of service."

"This was our first visit and we had high expectations but left very disappointed. Although the service and ambiance was very good, the food left much to be desired. We paid almost $200 for dinner for two and walked away satisfied with only the grilled asparagus and bread loaf. The lobster bisque was watery, the ahi tuna stack was bland, the steak tacos were nothing special and the Chilean sea bass was salty. The real kicker was the chilled seafood appetizer platter...The cost was $25 per person and we ordered for two. The "platter", which was really a small bowl with ice, consisted of two shrimp, two oysters on the half shell, two small pieces of king crab legs and a couple of spoon-fulls of lump crab and lobster meat. RIDICULOUS!!"

"We are regular at Morton's, and always had great food, but it feels like the quality of their "by the glass" wine list is getting cheaper and cheaper ... am I becoming a wine snob? Maybe a little, but I'd expect a better selection from an institution like this. We usually go for the lava cake for dessert, but our waitress couldn't stop praising the lemon souffle, which we finally accepted, but what a disappointment, I mean it tasted ok, but it was nothing else than a big bowl of meringue you would find on top of a lemon pie, we had a few bites and left it, what a waste of money and food. I still really like Morton's, but was not that excited about it this time around."

"Food at level of other Morton's Steakhouses. Ambiance a bit less, as the tables are very close next to each other as in a French brasserie. Which raises the noise level.
After a third essai we got eventually a table that kind of was ok with us. The first table offer was between the entrance door and the kitchen, the second one was in a private room in the back where a few groups were seated (I was just with my wife) and the third then was in the main dining area.
Moses was a great waiter."

"We were at our second visit to Morton's Beverly Hills and once again, we were not dissapointed. The food was excellent, great atmosphere and the Manager even offered us a complimentary drink when he was made aware that we have been doing the rounds of Morton's . During the last year, we have visited approximately 7 Morton's and we rank Beverly Hills amongst our top three. The Hostess made us feel most welcome and Ben did a fantastic job in servicing our table."

"Finally a good steak! I had the Cajun ribeye and the 5 peppercorn new york steak. Both were very flavorful and juicy! I've been to a couple other nice steak restaurants recently and was very disappointed with the meat ...especially for the price! The cheesecake is amazing as well!! The service we had was good but not as good as the table next to us, that waitress was awesome. We overheard her quite a bit and she was definitely more joyful and pleasant than ours. But overall it was a good night with great food! I will go back again to try more of the steaks!"

"The food was wonderful! The host that seated us was a little annoying. He kept calling us "you guys" (to my wife and me) and when you're paying 50.00 for a steak, that seems a little inappropriate. At a pub, we're you guys! I must note how amazing our waiter Brian was. Gracious, informative, friendly, and funny. A real pro. His great service cancelled out the lame brain that walked us to our table (and winked at my wife!). We will definitely go back!"

"My hysband and I went here for a Valentine weekend dinner, and asked for a quiter area of the restaurant. Shortly after seating us they seated a pretty rowdy large group of guys next to our table which was kind of distracting on our date. We didn't mind that too much until the fire alarm went off and lights started flashing. The waiters came out and told everyone not to panic, that it happens all the time. We decided to place an order anyway after being promised the noise and lights would stop soon. We were given some weird excuse that when "someone smokes too close to the building the smoke alarms go off". The food was excellent, but the atmosphere was certainly not what we were hoping for. We will go to Mastro's next time we want steak"

"I really enjoy the restaurant and the service, but unfortunately the food did not meet my needs. I had the pork chop and it was quite dry and the flavor was not there, I didn't get a spark out of the food, but the restaurant service was fantastic and I really enjoy the wine the waiter recommended."

"You asked for it... I worked for Arnie Morton 25 years ago. If he would have received what I did he would have fired every other employee in the restaurant!
Bartender poured a LOT of cork in glass, made excuse but comped it.
Host seated us with no menus.
Moses our waiter was EXCELLENT!
Onion bread-Outstanding!
Grilled Shrimp dryer than dry chicken.
Scallops wrapped in bacon-very good
Filet Mignon, not bad but not as good as other restaurants.
Sea bass-Very good
Au gratin potatoes-chunky and flavorless cheese
Green beans-Lifeless, bland and dry
Chocolate Souffle-very tasty
Asked to speak to manager after the meal. He/she never showed up after 10 minutes of waiting. Very sad outing. Especially for a $250 meal for 2."

"The food was great, the service was fine but the decor and ambiance left us a little confused. It was dark which gave the feel of romance but the music was odd and WAY TOO LOUD for a romantic dinner at a steak house. The decor was a little old and rustic which could be a good thing but in this case ended up being a little confusing. It cannot be dark and romantic as well as energetic and loud. One or the other please. If they changed these things I would definitely be back, but not until then."
