Crush 29 is located at 1480 Eureka Road in Roseville, CA. Crush 29 incorporates more than 9200 square feet of Napa Valley's unique design influence and truly mimics a wine country dining experience.
Crush 29's decor exudes comfortable elegance synonymous with California's famous wine country. The ambiance features custom wine barrel booths, rustic stone wall interiors, custom Napa themed murals, numerous cozy fireplaces, over fifty private wine lockers, two separate wine caves and multiple private dining rooms with full audio and visual capabilities.

"The food at the Mother's Day brunch buffet and the service were great, but the coffee was really bad. The coffee had a burnt taste. It was not just one bad pot because a second brew tasting identical.

"I've been going to Crush in Roseville since it opened. Each time I've gone I've had a great experience. Brunch was just ok. The lids for the food warmers should slide back not lift off (the food wasn't warm). The Eggs Benedict barely had sauce on it & most of the bacon wasn't crisp. The mimosas were way too weak. The prime rib, waffles, potatoes & blueberry mandarin compote were good. I'd pick a different place for Mother's Day Brunch before I go back. However I'm looking forward to my next dinner at Crush."

"I had been to Crush 29 a couple of times when it first opened. I found the crowd and service a bit pretentious, and the food just "ok." I felt the prices far outstripped the experience. On Friday, my husband and I only agree to go because our daughter wanted to, and we were celebrating her birthday. So glad we went! The food was truly delicious; fresh and very well-prepared. The service was friendly and professional, if a bit slow (and not in the meal-pacing sort of way). We will definately go back. Thanks, Patty"

"A classy place for our Anniversary Dinner ! Been there many times, always good. Unique Atmosphere, does transport you to the wine country. Suggest they consider a hint of greenery to enliven the wood tones. The Grilled Sesame Artichoke a "must" for an appetizer. Unique interior and structural touches create an ambiance in keeping with the restaurants name.Staff courteous and efficient. Excellent Wines and great Martini's. Upscale yet friendly, a nice place to celebrate, catch up, have fun. As we "eat out" a great deal, we consider this one of the few really great restaurants in this area. Seude Blue, also a favorite. Both restaurants remind us of our all time favorite, which is the Rutherford Grill, but that's an 90 minute drive."

"First of all, on a Saturday night, if you order their signature cocktail, the Crushtini, it should not be brought to your table without the dry ice, and then told, sorry we are out of dry ice! They did not charge us for the drinks, but they were not cold and did not taste good. Service was slow, (restaurant was not busy) Waiter kept forgetting things, like other drink orders and silverware to eat our entrees. We keep trying Crush because it is close to our house, but food quality and portions are going down hill. Plates seem to be loaded with fillers, potatoes, etc., and meat or fish hard to find. Our short ribs were a bit fatty, and my husbands piece of salmon was like a kiddy portion. Very average at best."

"The food was very good and the service equally so. The lamb lollipops are always mouth watering and my wife really enjoyed the coconut prawns. "Food and ambiance were very good, but the service and attention to detail were lacking. The normal menu serves a braised chicken with polenta & potatoes. Starch bomb! When I requested vegetables instead of potatoes, it was an "upcharge", and the dish still came out with potatoes.
Pluses for having a Gluten Free menu, but it simply left things off that were really needed in the dishes; example being the hazelnut nougat in the Chocolate dessert..it needed both the flavor and crunch.
Wine list is good , but there needs to be something special there to make it a wine place; I can buy most of the list from a retail shop, and often for less.
Went in colder weather so outdoor seating was not tested, but looks good for Sac. summers."

"Just to be fair, we had a delightful dinner only 4 days prior to our most recent visit. Then we came on a Friday night, beginning with 10 minute wait while 5 people attempted to find us a table, for which we had a reservation! We were seated at 4-top next to a blazing fireplace. We immediately asked for 1 of 2 adjacent empty tables only to be told they were expecting a large party. Hmmm,we were there first... Was our reservation less of a priority? Anyway, to his credit our waiter attempted to lower the gas fireplace but we just endured the heat throughout the entire dinner. Later those 2 empty tables were given to 2 separate couples! Also, the food was just OK - steak was tough. Maybe I was just too uncomfortable to enjoy it!"

"I am from the upper valley so i know what the napa experience is like. In my visit I found the portions to be larger than what I would be expecting in napa, which was nice. The server was rushing us through our meal we got an appetizer and before we had finished we were asked if we were done three separate times, so needless to say we felt a little rushed. I would still recommend crush 29."

"We went on a double date sans kids. Our server quickly picked up on the fact that we didn't want to be rushed, which was great. Observations of note: they bill themselves as a wine bar, so we expected more unique/rare finds on the wine list. Instead, they offered pthe usual stuff from the big commercial players rather than boutique wineries (Mondavi, BV, J. Lohr). On the food side, the selections were good and priced well for what you get. If you're expecting a $45 steak for a $25 price, you'll be disappointed. My husband asked for his ribeye medium rare. It was too thin of a cut to be anything better than medium. I had the fillet and it was decent, but nothing special. Tuxedo cake for dessert was amazing."

"This was a Valentine Day dinner and should have been special for my wife and I. It was just the opposite. Unfortunately, this text box is not large enough to contain the complaints I have. Believe me, I tried to use as much I could but there wasn't even enough to note the problems before receiving our food, I would barely give it a star our of five. I have had a more succulent prime rib from lesser acclaimed restaurents than Crush 29, which for this special day, seemed more focused on rearranging their tables to maximize the take for the night. I will never try this establishment again."

"Everything was nice, calm and romantic until the bachlorette party of 15 came in and was seated behind us.It was so loud we couldn't hear eachother speaking in a regular tone... we had to shout over them!!"

"It was Valentin's Day and crowded but handled very well. The service was excellent though there were many for the celebration. We were met at the door with a long stemed rose for the lady. I had the filet and my wife had the ahi both cooked to our expectation. This was a repeat visit and we will certainly return."

"Don't expect to be sat at your reservation time. We arrived early and had to wait over 30 minutes after our reservation time. Would not have been a big deal (things happen) if the hostesses didn’t seem so cold and dismissive when we first checked in and when we were told there was a wait. Other restaurant staff was very nice and friendly."

"My boyfriend and I visited for a Valentine's dinner. They must be really popular because their only reservations available were for an early dinner. We had a great time, the waiters were great, and the place looked amazing (especially the bar)! We'll definitely be visiting next time we're in Roseville."

"Crush 29 is one of my favorite restraunts. Their food is wonderful and we always have a nice time there. This time we got to sit right in front of a fireplace which was great since we were celebrating valentines day a day late and it helped make it more romantic."

"I think it's a nice restaurant overall. Keeping in mind it was the Friday after Valentines's Day, the place was packed, which is certainly a good thing. However, because they want a fit as many patrons as possible, especially couples, they have seating in the back that is a bunch of two person tables cramped in next to each other. It really killed the mood for a romantic evening as I felt as if I was dining with each of the couples on both sides of us. Other than that, it was a pretty good place to eat."

"The food was awesome, the drink was tasty,the service after being seated was top notch, the ambiance was wonderful. HOWEVER, I did not appreciate being put in line with the last minute attendees when I made reservations a month in advance. I got there 15 minutes early and was told to come AT my reservation time, so I did. Then they gave me a pager and said it would 30 minutes to get a table because they had too many walk in's. I honestly could't care less about the walk in's, I made a reservation I should have been put at the beginning of the line AND allowed to check in the first time I came up. Other than that, It was dream."
