"Celebrated my Mom's 95th birthday at PrimaVista - it was her first time there. She fell in love with the view and the food. At 95, she is kinda finicky about her food but she thoroughly enjoyed. Service was great. We will be back. Can't believe I have lived in Cincinnati for 24 years and just discovered this place last year!"

"This restaurant is known for it's good food and fabulous views of the city from the west side. I made my reservations about a week in advance and asked for a window table since my husband and I would be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. We arrived early and were told that there were no window tables available even if we waited until our reservation time. There was never even a sympathetic tone, never mind an apology. I don't believe they even try. The restaurant was about 1/3 full and we were seated quickly in a table in the back next to a wall that was probably the worst view in the restaurant. The food was good and the service from the waitress was decent. Not enough to entice me to go back."

"Once again we had a wonderful meal at Prima Vista. This was during Restaurant Week. The menu was to my liking so no need to spend more than $33.13. Ravioli appetizer, Caesar salad and a veal main course. Of course, we did add wine and dessert--I had gelato. Everything was very good, including the bread with roasted garlic butter. We love the view, and while some may request a window table, the banquets cannot be beat for a couple. The service was fantastic, friendly, efficient, but not in your face. Supporting a local restaurant that serves great food, with great service and a knock out view --what's not to like?"

"The view is simply outstanding. The food is okay. My chicken was over cooked. "This was our fifth visit to this restaurant and while the food has always been first rate and the view breathtaking, the dining experience has been hit or miss. Up until this last visit it has merely been a function of a very crowded, loud restaurant that doesn't lend itself well to a romantic evening. Just too many tables crammed in - not every visit, just sometimes. This last visit was the worst. Not only could we barely hear each other talk, they had jammed a table where one never should have been placed. It was between a bussing station and the bottom of the steps to the upper deck so that every time someone went up or down the steps they hit the back of my chair. We couldn't move as no other table was available. Horrible experience!!"

"To celebrate 3 years of hard work in the city I've come to love, my family made reservations at Prima Vista. We had never been there before, but it came highly recommended. We requested a window table and they obliged, and there was a rainbow when we got there! The restaurant was busy with prom-goers, but the staff was still great and our water glasses were never empty. The food was delicious, the wine was great, and we left feeling like this was the perfect way to celebrate with or family. Thanks!"

"Maybe the next time I am there I will just go straight to the bread pudding, and that is not to say my meal was not good, it was great.
The bread pudding has always been a fine dessert, but Saturday evening it hit me as one of the finest desserts I can remember. Did something change in the ingredients or the cooking process? I don't know but it worked for me.
My sister's birthday dinner was excellent and the Primavista has become our go-to place for family celebrations. Thank you for a wonderful dinner. Looking forward to our next visit in the very near future.

"Everything was wonderful. Our server was attentive and friendly. We requested a table with a view, and boy, did they deliver! Our table was right up next to the window. My friends said the Calimari was delicious, and the snail and mushroom appetizer was absolutely delectable! We dipped our bread in the sauce until the plate was clean. My husband said the Veal dish he ordered (a leg roast of some kind) was the best meat he'd ever had. I had the Veal with some kind of ham and cheese on it, and it was very good. A friend had the Striped Bass, and she said it was fantastic. The margaritas there were delicious. We may have had too many, sorry other diners if we were too loud, but we were having fun! The tiramisu was decadent."

"I always love dining at Primavista... and I have never had a waiter or waitress who wasn't highly trained, attentive, knowledgeable about the menu... and a good people person. No stuffy waitstaff here... not even with the ambience. Our waitress Michele last night was one of the best we've ever had. She treated the two of us as though we were her only table, even though we weren't drinking wine and running up the tab (the kind of table most waiters dread)... and she had a terrific laugh when we included her in our jokes. The food was wonderful... as always. I had scallopine alla discepoli and it was a treat... veal, shrimp, mushrooms & artichokes in a cream sherry garlic butter sauce. The sunset was lovely -- all was perfect."

"The experience is breath taking however the seating arrangement is a little uncomfortable. While the tables with the direct view make it unforgetable, the tables directly in front of these kind of take away from the view. Also go at night if you can the view at night is much better. The food is excellent and the portions are large."

"The service is top notch and the view of the city is breathtaking no matter what table you are sitting at.Now the cons:The tables are arranged uncomfortably close and the food was mediocre.I had the Saltimbocca which is presented like a pizza with a hard, thick layer of cheese on top. The procuitto and over abundance of cheese overpowered the flavor of the veal and it was cold. The greenbeans were cooked perfectly. The gorgonzola polenta was one of the best things that I have ever tasted. We ordered the Calamari Fritti and Ravioli con Pesto alle Noce- both were cooked well, but really needed the seasonings adjusted- we all added salt. The 3 others with me were very disappointed with their meals. Certainly not worth the $100 bill for two."
