"I used Open Table to make reservations as we were around the corner for UTSA graduation commencement. I noted that we were coming from there in case we were late by a couple of minutes. Not only did they give us a very private space for our party of 10 away from the main dining room, but they took our picture/printed us copies and printed a special message on the menu. I know it wasn't much, but it was just a nice little touch that made the night all the more awesome. Food was spectacular, as well."

"I've been to Morton's a number of times, and this was as excellent as always. The food is consistant and some of the best I've had. The fries are incredible, the steaks, while slightly undercooked, are incredible. My only slight complaint is that if you get the onion soup (I hate onions, but it's one of the tastiest things I've ever had), it's VERY hot and by the time you can eat it comfortably, the steaks are out. It's very fast paced, but not terribly so. Overall, an excellent experience as always, and I'll certainly come back."

"Celebrated our 19th anniversary. Made a reservation ahead of time. We were greeted by name, given menus with the date that said Happy Anniversary on them, and were given a free desert. To make the night even better, we were offered a picture on arrival to our table, it was printed, and given to us on a card that said Happy Anniversary. The food was delish! The steak was ok, but everything else was top notch. We had a new lobster and steak special that had just started 3 days prior. For $60 per person each one of us had a salad, one side, steak and lobster or steak and shrimp alexander, and a dessert. Great value considering the normal prices of $30-60 for a steak without sides. The lobster and shrimp alexander were my favorite!"

"Wouldn't recommend going on a Sunday. I'm guessing they save their more experienced grillers for busy evenings. The steaks were raw inside and burnt and dry on the outside. It was like charrred rare gone wrong rather than mid rare plus. Sides, appetizers and desserts were good as usual. I'd would go back."

"The service and food were outstanding. Very helpful waitress and staff. We had the ahi tower and bacon wrapped scallops for appetizers and loved them. The ahi tower is a don't miss. The filet was cooked a perfect medium rare as requested. And I highly recommend the Grand Marnier souffle. It is huge though so you can share it with 2 or 3 people."

"I had never been to Morton's before. Made a 7pm appt online and was seated right away when we arrived on time. We were trying to make a movie an hour after we arrived. I mentioned that to our server, but told her not to stress about it since we were cutting it so close anyway. She was immediately on top of it. Our cocktails came out faster than non-alcholic drinks at most restaurants! I had the Cajun Ribeye and I haven't stopped talking about it for the last two days! It was great! Can't wait to go back! Thanks for the great service and food!"

ounce filets for each of us medium rare. This is the way we always order our steaks. My

"My wife and I are very familiar with excellent steak houses as we live in The Woodlands, Texas. We both thought our waitress was nice but provided the kind of service you might expect at IHOP. Both our steaks were not very appealing to the eye when served. We had to remind our server to bring the button mushrooms. In addition, the shell of our lobster was not removed and we did not like having a bowl of cold butter to dip our lobster. The presentation was lacking and there really was not much flavor in the steak, creamed spinach. The button mushrooms were good but we had to ask our server to bring them. We both feel that maybe Morton's is relying on people coming due to name brand."

"I went to Morton's for the best steak I ever had and they did not disappoint. If you are looking for a place to get an excellent prime steak, then you will definitely not be disappointed at Morton's. Obviously it's expensive, but if you're more interested in great food vs. a value meal, it's the place to go. I can definitely say that no other steak chain ($15-$20 steaks) can even come close."

"Made a reservation on line and had to wait several minuets to be seated when I arrived on time. Waiter was very informal and didn't seem to be to excited to wait on my girlfriend and myself. Food was delivered wrong and steaks were improperly cooked. My girlfriend and I had both ordered condiments for our steaks but neither of us had them delivered with the food. Overall I was disappointed in the poor service and food quality when I expected both to be exceptional."

"I went to this Morton's location three nights in a row. The first night, the food and service was very good. The second night, I entertained 9 people and the food and service were mediocre. The order was mixed up, they were unable to accommodate special requests correctly able to get the order correctd quite frankly, it was embarrassing. I am on a no salt diet and eat at Mortons all th3e time when I travel because they are always able to accommodate. This was not the case. here. On the third noght, I dined by myself at 5:00 PM so there was no one in the restaurant. They still were not able to get the order correct. They need tp pay mre attention as I spen over $2,000 in three days."

"When I spend this much for dinner I expect to be wowed - I was not. The food was mediocre, the restaurant ambiance was non-existent unless you like LOUD. Service was adequate. The most memorable part of the evening was the lovely Kelly who greeted us when we came in and who took the time to personalize our menus."

"We were seating in a timely manner. Our server was nice and knowledgable. Our food took forever to be served. Our appetizer was good (mozzarella and prociutto). For entreess we ordered the 6oz filet mignon with lobster tail and the bone in ribeye both cooked medium rare. Both our steak were over cooked and the lobster tail was chewy. The sides (twice baked potato gratin and grilled asparagus) were disapointing. The manager came by our table. We mentioned the problem, he offered to treat us with dessert to make up for it. At this point we just wanted to leave the place. The kind of money we paid for this meal, we expected at least the cooks knew how to cook a steak. We certainely will never go back to Morton's Steakhouse."

"Valentine's day was my birthday. I asked for a booth, but they said they were all booked. I made reservations weeks in advance via internet, guess I should have called & told them we wanted a booth. $11.00 for a baked potato is a bit much. You would think that it would taste extraordinary, but I can bake a better potato. The asparagus was a little too undercooked for my palate. It's a nice place to visit for very special occassions, but I guess one is paying for the ambiance. My husband & I dressed up for the occassion. I saw customers that dressed disheveled, just off the street. There are no high class restaurants in San Antonio like there are in San Francisco. Sorry...."
