Morton's The Steakhouse, the nation's premier steakhouse group, specializes in classic, hearty fare, serving generous portions of USDA prime aged beef, as well as fresh fish, lobster and chicken entrees. The menu features a variety of favorite cuts, including a 24 ounce porterhouse, which is the house specialty; a 16 ounce New York Strip and a 12 ounce double cut filet.
"I took my wife there after I received an email about a Mother's Day special--3 for $59. I had to pry that menu out of the waiter. He gave me the regular menu first and seemed a little dense about the special. I felt cheap for making a big deal about it."

"This was a great environment for our large group. The food was of excellent quality but the portions for starters and deserts were far too large - most of our group left part of the starters and did not order desert. The waiters were attentive and knew the menu inside out. The giant bread rolls at the begining of the meal were great for sharing. The wine list was comprehensive but a bit on the pricely side."

"I ordered the Mixed Grill: A Jumbo Lump Crab Cake with 3 Grilled Jumbo Shrimp & 2 Jumbo Shrimp Alexander. Garnished with immense Asparagus spears; The sauces that were provided for each of the items were amazing and exactly the quantity needed to help the protein in flavor, but not drown it out...I couldn't be more impressed...our waitress was attentive and fun. My ex-coworker ordered the 6oz Filet Mignon and we, being foodies, shared each others plates and his filet was the best, most moist and perfectly cooked that I've ever experienced. Frankly, I was blown away by this restaurant! Major kudos!"

"From the moment our ride dropped us off at the restaurant to us leaving was outstanding. We were treated special for our 4 year wedding anniversary. The staff was professional, friendly and the balance of checking in on us was just perfect. My first experience at Morton's met my expectations. Thank you!"

"This was the 5th year I brought my son here for his birthday. Started when he was 10 and we just stumbled across Mortons on our arrival in Anaheim for Disneyland. Two days into Disney fun I asked him for his favorite moment so far...answer..."Morton's". Hence a new tradition. He is now 15 and looks forward to this every year. Nothing else compares for a special occasion. They print out a special birthday menu, take our photo, and the food is amazing. He's grown into a young man and I've been lucky enough to push pause every year here for an amazing time with him. What's better than that?"

"Dark Basement, Food quality does not justyfy prices. Do not feel we got our moneys worth. Dont mind paying high prices if the quality and atmosphere are there, this was lacking in both."

"We are big fans of Morton's. I think they have the best crab cakes in the city. I love their steaks, too. They have started to have individual souffles, which is great for souffle lovers who exist in a family of chocolate cake lovers. We've never had bad service or mediocre food here. We've also had our reservation honored on time every time we have been there. I wish they'd open up on the eastside!"

"Portland is my home base, but the Seattle crew made me feel right at home. It's hard to argue with dining this sumptuous within a block from the convention center. Horray for Landry's and Morton's!"

"Took my family from the south (Mississippi & Alabama) to Mortons while up in Seattle to visit the Seattle Art Museum. As always, Morton's delivered great food with great service. We are from Portland and dine at the Portland Morton's often. The Seattle Mortons was just as good as the Portland version."

"Monday night was the first time my husband and I had ever been to a Morton's restaurant. I wanted to take him somewhere special for his birthday, we live in Eastern Washington and drove to Seattle for the weekend. From the moment we walked into Morton's the service was exceptional! We were treated extremely well, and everyone was very friendly. The personlized menu, picture, and souffle were wonderful! I'm already looking forward to next time.
Thank you for a great dining experience! Michele Tilton"

"Certainly over-priced. Appetizer was OK but just OK. I had shrimp, which was good, but the wife had a steak which was way over cooked. Total bill was over $230 (expected) but the overall quality was not.
I have eaten at a Morton's before and this was not even close."

"Excellent experience; service is impeccable (not overbearing nor pretentious but perfectly attentive.) Food is completely yummy and there are some nice side options that are not insanely rich if you want to try to be remotely healthy. :-) Steak is incredible..."

"Great food, great service. We sat in a nice booth and they even took a picture and gave us a free copy. It was my boyfriends birthday and they made sure to buy his dessert. Filet is awesome as well as the shrimp scampi. We shared a salad and app to start and then had our entrees and a shareable side of Mac and cheese. It was awesome and super rich but we barely made a dent in it. Safe to say we will have delicious leftovers for a while! It was a great experience!"

"The food was ok... VERY over priced for the food you actually get. My steak was overcooked too. The service is amazing and very attentive to your needs, but over priced food was a real bummer."

"The atmosphere of this once-great place has gone dramatically downhill in a matter of months. It seemed like a poor choice for Valentines day and we won't be going back given the myriad selection of other options available."

"I took my fiancé here for Valentines Day, this was out first and last visit. When I made the reservation I specifically asked to have two glasses of champagne waiting for us on the table when we sat down. The reason for this is because I wanted to surprise her with a toast. We are getting married this coming August and since it was Valentines Day and our first time here I figured it would be a nice touch. Not only did they not have the champagne on the table, when our waiter walked up he asked us what kind of champagne we wanted, which I had already stated in the reservation. He then proceeded make excuses:"

"Bar was very noisy at one point...actually had to plug my ear closest to the noise...it is a small bar, and nowhere to escape that....Be sure to order special desserts when ordering meal. Waiter mentions it initially when getting drinks, then while ordering, does not remind patron. The food was as I remembered it-great! However, they no longer do their wonderful meat info-tray, which I think is a poor choice. I look forward to another visit, however, knowing the above, will plan accordingly."

"We always look forward to a dinner at Morton's. That being said, this one wasn't our favourite meal at Morton's. We found the service was lacking. The waiter seemed like he had just started, and did not know the answers to any of our questions. Then he disappeared, and we had to ask busboys for things we needed.
The Maitre d' (or manager?) was circulating, and was able to help us out with a couple of requests, but he was busy, so we had to wait.
I will say, the guy who fills the water was excellent. Every time our water glasses were empty, he was there to fill them up. He did it in such a unobtrusive, professional manner, I remember thinking - this is someone who knows how service in a fine dining establishment is supposed to be."

"Overall.....it was ok, if you have been to other Morton's in California which was a lot more vibrant and the food service & quality was several notches better. The ambience, decor and quality of the overall experience was so-so."

"Disappointing- since their recent purchase from Landrys, the food and presentation is not the same. Ordered two identical steaks medium rare and one was rare and the other over cooked. Just not the same - we probably Wont go back."

"The atmosphere reminded my husband and I of a supperclub - kind of trendy, yet intimate. The service was wonderful, very attentive and conscious of our time restraint (we were attending a show after dinner). Morton's specialty may be steak, but the item didn't live up to the hype from our waiter. For $42.00 per six ounces of filet mignon, I expected the meat to melt on my tongue (I've paid less for a better prepared cut at Salty's on Alki). I would HIGHLY recommend the Chicago Horseradish Mashed Potatoes as a side: bitey but delicious. I would only tell people to go there who were familiar with "ala carte" dining, for a different eating experience, and who had some disposable income - easily $230 with drinks, dessert and tip for two."
