"My mom and I have been coming to the Wayfarer for years, they really have the best view at the coast and when it's nice out (which it usually is on Mother's Day) we love coming on Mother's Day and sitting on the patio. We didn't make it last year, so were really surprised to find that there was no longer a buffet but it was a set price fixe menu. We were really open to it,but honestly we were disappointed. The food was decent, but the buffet was so much better with an omelet bar and bottomless mimosa's. The view is great, but I think we'll find a different place to go next year."

"Not sure why the restaurants on the coast have such poor service when tourists MAKE their economy. Service here is terrible. Food was good, but poor service is what stands out. Reservation was meaningless"

"We've been going to the Wayfarer restaraunt for the past 13 years and have never had a bad experience. The service and the atmosphere are second to none! The food is priced a bit steep for what you're getting, but the overall experience is worth it! A must when staying in Cannon Beach!"

"The Wayfarer consistently delivers a wonderful chef-inspired meal, along with a beautiful view of Haystock Rock. We always make reservations ahead of time, because it is well-known. We had halibut that was delicate but very tasty. "Tasty" is the word I would use for all the Wayfarer cuisine; seafood or otherwise.
And the servers are knowledgeable and interested in giving you a better-than-average restaurant experience.
Best, you can dress casual - after all, you are right on the beach!"

"You can 't beat the view! This is a regular stop for us when we are in Cannon Beach. The food is always good and our favorite waiter David always has helpful tips on what to do in the area (he suggested whale watching at Ecola Park which we did the next morning with great results). We'll be back."

"Our visit to Cannon Beach is always highlighted by dining at the Wayfarer Restaurant. There is not a more casually elegant restaurant on the coast. We love to dine out and enjoy food that we would not prepare at home; and this restaurant simply inspires us. We can also bring the kids without feeling like we're out-of-place or we can just come ourselves for a lovely date-night. From the wine list to the meal, there are items for every palate and every budget, all of which are delicious. This restaurant is a MUST for anyone visiting the Oregon Coast."

"Excellent salmon dinner on Valentine's Day. It was good to have a reservation as the restaurant was crowded. I think our waiter might have been spread a little thin; but you can't blame him. This is a popular place and with great food and an excellent wine list, I can see why. Soft background music might tone down the noise level a bit."
