Bistecca Steakhouse and Wine Bar, located on the terrace level at the Meadows Racetrack and Casino, is the fine dining destination in the greater Pittsburgh/Washington area. Chef d' Cuisine Terry Freehlinghas brought together classic steakhouse favorites, fresh seafood and Italian cuisine. Bistecca also boasts an eclectic wine list featuring Italian and American wines that is diverse enough to please any palate. Enjoy the panoramic view of the racetrack or step outside Bistecca to overlook the Casino below. Bistecca also has two premiere private dining rooms equipped with audio visual capabilities and five luxury boxes for race events or casual parties.

"We did not want to do the another Brunch so we set a 5 pm. Diner date. We arrived a couple hrs early as Bistecca is located in the Meadows Casino. When we arrived at Bisteccas we were quickly greeted and sat in a nice cozy booth. The Wine list was ample but we were in the mood for Cocktails, I had a Old fashion and she had a Bloody Mary. Both drinks were great. We both had the Seafood trio with some Asparagus and Calamari. The food was great and not over priced and the service was super! We enjoy this place and go their when we can as it is one hr drive."

"We went for Mother's Day Brunch with a party of six and were treated very special, even my daughter who is a picky eater. My dad is in a wheelchair and we had no problem getting to our window seat overlooking the fairgrounds and did not disrupt any other guests. It was a diverse menu with delicious options. "From the salad to the main cource the food was wonderful. The spinich salad and the orange glazed salmon was to die for and the streak is prepared perfectly. I would highly recomment dinning here to anyone who would like a quite enjoyable evening with great food and beverages."

"I wanted to compliment Bistecca on a very pleasant dining experience. The food and service were superb. I would rank it up there with the best Steakhouses (i.e. Ruth's Chris, Morton's, etc.). My only issue (and I probably should have anticipated it since, you know, we were at The MEADOWS, was that whenever there was a race, the race announcer was piped in pretty loudly. If you're there with friends or by yourself, betting on the races, I'm sure that's welcomed, but when you're just there to have a first date, it makes it hard to talk.
That being said, I would still highly recommend this restaurant."

"My wife and I have always searched for that "done just right" steak, not only in the temperature that the meat is cooked to, but also the flavoring of the steak. We have tried nearly every steakhouse in the Pittsburgh area, and Bistecca is it for us. The steaks were extremely flavorful, the seating was comfortable, and the service was excellent. My wife and I look forward to returning soon.

"We've visited before. It was extremely easy to make reservations online. The service was very good -- we sat for a few minutes before our order was taken, and again waiting for our food to be served. But our waitress was very friendly, did an excellent job. This is definitely our "special occasion" restaurant since the prices are fairly high and everything is ala carte, but well worth it! Great value for the money since both the main courses we sampled and the "side" portions are generous."

"All in all Bisteca is a good Steakhouse at the Meadows casino. We started with shrimp cocktails which were just average. I had the Fillet au Poivre which was excellent. My buddy had the Porterhouse which he said was good but not excellent. The service by our waitress was very good.
I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here, but if I'm in the neighborhood or gambling at the casino/racetrack it is a good "bet"."

"I visit Bistecca once every month or two, and each visit varies in terms of service & food quality. This time was good, but not outstanding. At these prices, I want my experience to be outstanding. I'm certainly not going to give up coming because of one mediocre experience, but when I feel the mediocre experiences start to outnumber the outstanding experiences I will likely stop coming. If Bistecca were not located IN the casino, I most likely would have given up on it a while ago."

"Our table top was large but we were too far apart and had trouble having a conversation to hear each other. We had noted on our reservation it was a special occasion for a wife's birthday but they did not seem to be aware of that. Food was good but over priced. Scallops were too rare and shrimp was too cooked. Salads were good. Server had difficulty opening bottle of wine. Servers all seemed rushed and were running through dining room. When manager stopped by the table we couldn't understand him. We were dressed for dinner but many diners had on jeans and t-shirts. Nice dinner but not exactly what we expected. We had never been to the casino. Not a pleasant experience...smoky, loud, strange. Doubt we will ever go back or recommend."

"The wait staff was great. I felt a little rushed when we were first seated, but we were running about 20 min late for our reservation on valentines day. The food was amazing. I love to cook, and I'm pretty good at it, so to go to a restaurant and have wonderful food is always good. My thing is if I feel like I could have made it or done better what's the point in going. "This was our second time to the restaurant and we were very disappointed. Filet was ok, not much taste. Mushrooms were actually cold and we sent them back. Our Augratin Potatoes were delicious but room temp at best. We waited almost 25 minutes for our drinks and 30 minutes for bread! Food was expensive for the quality provided. "Food was good, but overpriced. Kitchen was incredibly slow - Calamari was served cold. I passed on the salad I ordered because it was taking so long that I assumed our dinner would be brought out momentarily. I was mistaken. More than 45 minutes passed before dinner was served. Server was apologetic and offered us free complimentary dessert."

"Excellent service I had the bone in rib eye med well and it was excellent my date had the blackened scallops which she enjoyed very much.The ice berg wedge with bacon and blue cheese $8 you 're better off to order a veggie side. I would go again even though very expensive."

"The restaurant was as expected for the "name". Was not as an extensive dinner list as one would expect, with only 5-7 options for each selection (1-2 meat options per appetizer, salad, main course, sides). The entire experience was dampened by the waiter for the table. We weren't sure if he was new, nervous or just trying WAY TOO HARD for his tip...! He spoke very softly (which I know is part of the atmosphere & not wanting to make much noise but combine that with his harsh Italian/Latin accent it made it hard for even myself to understand! Came around the table too many times for us to enjoy our meals, asking every time by how our meal was, multiple times during the same course! Tried to make idle conversation, but was too obvious!"

"The atmosphere is what keeps me from loving this place. Frankly, there is none. Wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Steaks are very good and all that had steak at our table of 6 were very happy with the temperatures and preparations. Because the prices are so high I would expect a little more attention to detail in the room and on the tables. Flowers and maybe a different color napkin or table cloth It may be the most boring dining room I've ever spent $150 for dinner."

"We have been dining at Bistecca since they opened. Have been there over a dozen times and have hosted personal and business dinner
parties there as well. Sadly, the food quality has gone downhill
