"This was our second visit to The Place. Our previous visit was about 5 years ago when it was still known as Perry's. We enjoyed it the first time and the second visit was a knockout!! Our server was very attentive and pleasant. The food was amazing!!! I highly recommend the bone-in New York strip....mouthwatering!! And the macaroni and cheese is truly "blue ribbon". You will not be disapointed!!"

"This place was fabulous! This was a business supper and we normally break for home at 9-9:30pm, we didn't leave until 11pm! Both my boss and my customer absolutely loved everything about Perry's...I did too! They had a great wine list and it was NOT too overpriced, amazing!"

"First, you need to know that the valet station is 1/2 a block from the front entrance on Routh and the front entrance requires the ability to walk up several steps (about 7).

The food and presentation was very good. Being Valentines day, they had arranged many tables for two. However, they were situated on diagonals so that it was too easy to overhear conversations at the tables to your right and left."

"Visited for Valentines Day - primarily because Perry's didn't force you to dine from one of those limited menu's that only serve about a quarter of their regular fare for twice the price. Our choices for the evening were Panko Tuna for the appetizer, tomato mozzarella salad, 12oz filet Oscar, and short rib with macaroni and cheese for the side. Everything, including the service, was simply excellent - we were even seated at exactly the right time, based on our reservation. I will definitely be back."

"My wife and I have been to Perry's several times before. Being that I am an executive chef at a private club in the metroplex, I completely understand what to expect on Valentine's day. The tuna roll was good, just run of the mill, nothing bad, nothing wow. Salad was awesome, my strip steak was awesome as well, cooked to perfection. The bordelaise sauce was horrible. It tasted like it was made from instant base. Service was not bad, however once our server got sat a six top, our attention was nil. I was never presented a dessert menu, only verbally stated what you have including " a bunch of different cheesecakes." There are way too many high end restaurants in that area to cut corners. We will be back at some point, just not soon."

"For a high-end steak place Perry's is a great value. You get the great steak in a moderate size restaurant so the noise isn't deafening (like some steak houses in Dallas)and you don't feel like you are one of 500 guests. Tables were a bit close together but it was valentines day so perhaps thats not the case other days. Crab cakes were excellent as was the tenderloin. I was trying to eat a leaner cut so I went with the Strip steak vs the ribeye and frankly I noticed the difference in flavor. Next time I will stick with the Rib-eye. Serice was excellent without being annoyingly over the top. Valet parking was a breeze. Bloody Mary's with the special vodka were also terrific. All in all a very enjoyable place. I will return."

"Very busy Saturday night (before Valentines). We had a 9:30 reservation, but then had to wait 20 minutes. We had requested a booth, but were seated at a small table near the kitchen. Nothing was offered to us for our wait or even much of an apology, and the fact that we were shoved by the kitchen did not make us happy."

"We've been to Perry's several times and have always enjoyed the food. During our most recent dining experience here, the service was especially outstanding. The waiter was very personable and knowledgeable about the wine list. The steaks and seafood are consistently good, but sometimes fail to rise to the level of sublimity. "I had always wanted to try Perry's and I was not disappointed.

The food was excellent from our appetizers to main entry streaks.

Small but nice eating area with plenty of lighting. Noise was very soft easy to carry on a conversation. Service was good!

I have been to every fine streak place in the Dallas area. Perry's was my last stop and really enjoyed the place.

Our filets were perfectly cooked and the sides were delicious. The amount of cheddar cheese covering the potatoes and mac and cheese might have been visually too much, but the dishes were delectable. Why did it take me so long to discover this restaurant?? We will definitely be returning for more."

"Hands down The Place at Perrys has outdone any other steakhouse, by their consistensy across the board. Larry and Oscar have that service down to a "T"! The bartender as well came by the table to make sure our drinks were as we wanted them. Outstanding!

I highly reccommend this to everyone looking for a great meal and top service!"
