"The service was terrific, the food was delicious and there was so much of it! A really great place to take family, especially older students as the kitchen & staff is all by students. We loved it."

"Assignments never fails to please in the quality of food served, the pace and pleasure of several "courses," and the pleasant ambiance of its large dining room. The apparent instructor in charge, particularly for this spring period, is particularly charming, welcoming, and eager for us to have a good experience. The biggest obstacle is its quirky schedule, determined both by the school's schedule and number enrolled. Therefore, it takes some effort and perseverance to plan a visit. The other disappointment is its withdrawal of wine service, which really added to the quality of the dining experience, particularly in the evening when all of our friends are reluctant to go for a "fine dining" adventure without the accompaniment of wine."

"My sister is an instructor at a culinary school in MI, and our friend is an executive chef here in the metro area. Together, a party of 6... We had a wonderful time! Food was absolutely fantastic, the menu was creative and exciting. No alcohol, which was fine because there were great options. ambiance was -- a bit academic. Definitely coming back with more friends!"

"I have taken at least 10 different people to Assignmnents over many years - all who have never heard of it, and LOVED it! "I've lived here all my life and didn't know of this place." All have said they want to bring family, friends, or someon they know to see it."

"My friend and I had a great time. We loved the food choices and the food itself. The service was A-1. We had plenty of time to engage our wait-person in conversation about the cooking school. We enjoyed the cake decorating projects in the hallway. Note to self: Return often."

"Neat place but when we went there we were the only ones there that night so we had all the students there to serve us but all so to watch us eat. They were all friendly and all and all it was a great time for my wife and I. They also sat us so that we could watch them working in the kitchen, also a neat thing. Will go back again some day."

"Considering these three: food, service, cost, I would say Assignments can't be beat. It's fine dining without the high cost. The menu is a 3 course prix fixe with 3 or 4 choices for each course. Having no wine or alcohol selections might deter some people, but it didn't make any difference to our friends or to us. Asking for recommendations is a good idea as some dishes are better than others. The restaurant is basically a learning lab for the cooking school students."

"Have been here before, also a wonderful experience. Took my wife here for Valentine's day dinner. Would have expected some sort of acknowledgment for the occassion but there was none.
Dining here is like beng in the dining room of a cruise ship. Presentation is top priority; food is excellent. Waiters could be a bit more congenial-very efficient but think that would add to the dining experience.
On a scale of 1 to 10 this experience would be a 12"

"Had a wonderful experience for a friend's birthday. My fish was cooked to perfection and a very ample portion; however, my friend's duck ravioli was a bit too spicy. Nevertheless, the presentations, food quality, and value can't be beat."

"Assignments is the best kept secret in Denver! It is a first class dining experience provided by enthusiastic culinary students attending the Art Institute of Colorado. The table is set with white linen and flowers, the menu has many gormet choices to complete a three course meal, and the food is over the top, as is the presentation. Very few restaurants in Denver can compete with the food, service, ambiance and price....Assignments is at the top of my favorite list!"
