"Cafe on the Green has been our "special night out" spot for 14 years. They have not disappointed! The service is fabulous, the wine list excellent (and if you can't decide their recommendations are always great) and the food is consistently delicious. "The food is amazing! Great flavors and well plated. It impressed my relatives and didn't cost me a fortune.I also can't say enough about the service. You never have to look for a waiter. And anyone you ask for something is willing to get it for you. I would recommend this restaurant."

"The service was horrible. We only saw our waiter once and ended up ordering from some one else. The bus people were very good. We ordered an appetizer and got it the same time as our salads. The app was was supposed to be quinoa encrusted, there wasn't any. The veal was so tough I could not cut it. The two pasta dinner's were good. We were never asked about dessert and when I made the reservation I let them know it was a birthday celabration."

"We just went for dinner for Mother's Day. The price fixe menu was on the high side for a place like this ($60) and that is probably why we were one of only three tables at 730pm. It was average the first time I went and average today. There are better options on Mill Plain Rd.
The best part of the experience was that by 840pm we were the last table left and they actually started removing the table clothes and cleaning up! My wife became uncomfortable and we immediately asked for the check. If I'm dropping almost $300 on a meal, I shouldn't be rushed. The staff was actually terrific and I regret that I didn't leave the full tip but I was upset at the time. Sorry guys, you shouldn't have been penalized for your managers decision. :("

"Went on a rainy day to meet a friend and was disappointed we could not sit outside on the lovely patio but the inside was very nice. Due to the rain the club house was fairly empty so we practically had the place to ourselves. The staff was attentive, the food was very good and we enjoyed the the view of the golf course in spite of the rain. Would go there again."

"This was the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at. I thought it was a joke when they served the food. The portions were so small. I was able to count the pasta on my plate. I had ordered the salmon. It was dry and tasteless. The food was horrible and the portions were close to nothing. My son and I walked out of there hungry. The prices were very high. We went for Easter Sunday and was very disappointed."

"Restaurant is off the beaten path. We live nearby so it is easy for us to find. We went on a Friday night at 7:15. There were three of us. There was one other table with three people. We six were the only ones there. I wonder how long they will stay in business. As for the food, it was excellent. We have been there a couple of times before and the food, although moderately expensive is very good. The service was great which is easy to do when there are only two tables with occupants."

"Our reservations were made weeks in advance for 8pm. We arrived to a state of confusion. No hostess, no staff member taking names, guests lined up down the hallway (20+) while staff ran back and forth thru the line ignoring us each and everytime as if we were not there. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, we left after waiting 45 minutes, never being offered any explanation, drink, etc. We headed to Mezon who happily sat us at an available table, had a great dinner and service. Cafe on the Green's attempt at handling a Valentine's Day service was a complete failure on the part of management."

"Ate here with my girlfriend on valentines Day. I had made a reservation for 830pm and arrived and 825pm only to find a line of people in the entrance. They had decided to not care about reservations and just went with a first come first serve system.
By the time we were seated it was 900pm. It took the waiter 15 minutes to come over and ask if we wanted any wine, then an additional 45 to come back for our order. The service here was terrible and by the time we realized it was too late to go elsewhere. My glass was always empty of water and The food was just okay... If not slightly on the small side. I would not recommend this place."

"We Rrived at our reservation time. There were 20 people in line. When I finally got to talk to someone, they were not able to sit us. When I spoke to the manager, he told me I would just have to wait because all those people were ahead of me. There was no place to sit, no bar, so we were to stand in a crowed hall way for at least an hour. The manager offered nothing, not a drink, not a desert, nothing, so we left. I will never return and I would never commend the Resturant to anyone. Apparently, there was no "Open Table". This expense has made me skeptable about using Open Table in thr future."

"We decided to treat my sister to a birthday brunch. Since I live in lower Westchester, her son lives in Stamford, and she lives in New Fairfield, I was looking online for an easy, not pricey place to get to for everyone. Cafe on the Green fit the bill. None of us were ever there, so I took a chance. I was a little nervous. When we got there, there was a bridal shower going on. I thought it would be noisy. It was not. The food came and it was delicious. We had everything from drinks to lunch salads to a great salmon dish. They even had chicken fingers for the 7 yr old with us. Everyone was extremely happy. Most of all, I made the reservations online at around 10:30 p.m. How convenient is that? We will be there again. Thank you.
