"This is a nice restaurant, especially of the Lake of the Ozarks area. The service was great and the food was good. The decor was a little dated, but nice. I would recommend this restaurant. The pizza is very good."

"I was very disappointed because I had requested a window table and when we arrived the host did not acknowledge that we had requested it...but tried to make this table that wasn't even close to the window seem like it was good enough. I was not satisfied at all and was really annoyed by the host.
It wasn't an advantage at all to make a reservation ahead of time...because we woudl have been seated right away. I only did it so we could have a table reserved in a spot that we really wanted.
We will not be back."

"We had the best steak it was so tender we could cut it with a fork. The flavor was excellent.
Our server was excellent the water boy did a great job of keeping our glasses full & of clearing the table.

"Our first time at this establishment. Food was excellent and service was very good, but server could have been more knowledgeable about main courses. Knowing everything was ala cart was a plus to avoid "sticker shock", but what I found outrageous was the price of drinks at the bar. A cosmo and Kettle One martini was $23.00. I can buy the same drinks in Chicago at a Michellin star restaurant for less. All that said, we will still be back."

"HK's Steakhouse was a delicious choice. We met with the chef prior to our visit to discuss our alergy concerns and he was very helpful. The food was Outstanding! The wait staff seemed overwhelmed, maybe due to Valentine's Weekend. Different servers delivered food whether we ordered it or not. I would recommend HK's Steakhouse. My wife and I had a GREAT night out and the food was excellent!! We will be here for 2 months and plan to go back."

"my $34 new york strip was ordered med-rare came out med-well my wife ordered the BBQ short rib one 3inch rib with a bone and fat on it maybe 2ozs of meat to eat service was non-exsistent"

"The food was average to above average. I have eaten much better food at a much more affordable price in other restaurants. Also, the menu did not give you much to choose from. While the food was more than tolerable, the service was far from it. I hardly saw my waitress at my table the entire night. If she had been running around since they were so overbooked would be one thing. But she was standing around, looking entirely uninterested in her job. That would be the main deterrent from me returning to this restaurant."

"Busy place, wait did not bother us because we were not in a hurry. But the food was less then outstanding, after the long wait the food did not taste fresh; it tasted and appeared to have sat under a heat lamp for a while. Staff was excellent, apologized many times for the delay, overall we enjoyed ourselves."

"The food was amazing! Everything tasted exceptional. It was a little hard to swallow paying $11 for 2 scallops. Though my steak was worth every penny. It just melted with every bite. Great flavor. So besides the high prices, the experience was extraordinarily."

"Dinner, everything was very flavorful,and plentiful, you definitely get good portions for your money. The decor, could use updating, a throw back to the 70's. But the food definitely is not. Look @ online menu to see if type of cuisine you like, if it is be assured it is done well. Chef is the resturants best asset. Rival big city cuisine easily. Setting is white table cloth and some good views able to see like or fire pit & japanese pond."
