Pastiche is an upscale restaurant in a warm and casual setting. Our American cuisine with world influences features fabulous appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pastas, large entrees, and desserts. Not sure what you are in the mood for? Take advantage of our popular smaller "bistro" portions available, perfect for sharing and sampling. What restaurant would not be complete without a full bar and eclectic wine list? Well, we have them both!
Visit our Wine and Cheese Shop next door, featuring regular Friday Night Wine Tastings from 5:00 - 6:30pm.
Join us for Tuesday Night Steak Night -- Certified Angus Beef dinner and a salad for only $15!

"This was our first visit and we were very impressed. My husband said his mushroom soup was the best he'd ever tasted. My husband had a pasta dish (Baked Mac & Cheese: smoked gouda, parmesan, Monterey Jack, mesquite smoked bacon, spinach, fat macaroni) and I had a chicken dish (Chicken Saltimbocca: seared chicken breast with fresh sage leaves, wrapped in prosciutto, served with cream sauce, saffron risotto, and grilled asparagus). Both were out of this world - wonderful flavors! The service was very friendly and prompt. The restaurant itself is lovely. We will definitely be going back!"

"Four of us dined at Pastiche on a Sunday evening. (We're delighted that they're open on Sundays, as there are very few nice places to dine after Sunday matinees or before Sunday evening programs.) The most welcome change we noted from our experience here a year or two ago was that reasonably priced wines are now available by the glass or bottle. One at our table ordered the tasty Caesar salad, and my husband and I enjoyed a shared calamari appetizer, which was very lightly breaded. We all ordered the sea bass dinners, but some of us wanted more green veggies rather than the rice. No problem! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinners--excellent thyme crusted sea bass!"

"We eat at Pastiche regularly. As a matter of fact, this reservation was the 2nd Sunday evening in a row. My spouse, who loves salmon & who has had the bourbon-glazed salmon there a dozen times, said that this was the worst meal ever at Pastiche portion smaller than normal & overcooked, very dry. Last week 3 of the 4 specials were no longer available by 6 pm; this week it was 2 of them. If the specials are meant to cover Saturday & Sunday, management should prepare better to cover their bases."

"Arrived early for 7:00 reservation. 5-6 parties waiting. We were seated @ 7:10. By 7:25 no server, no water. Finally server arrived. No apologies or explanation for the wait. At this point there were many empty tables. Ordered wine from menu - didn't have it. Ordered another - didn't have it. Server suggested another (awful). As we had been waiting so long, we put in our full order at once. Our salads arrived & we finished them before wine arrived. Salads were good. Husband ordered ahi, which tasted & looked like a frozen fillet - no flavor. My steak was fine. Presentation was poor - plop, plop - there you are. We've been here many times; some good experiences, some bad. There are too many great restaurants in Tucson for me to ever return."

"The bar area was packed with the Friday wine tasting happy hour. We were seated at 6:00 in the lightly occupied restaurant, and finally served drinks at least a half hour later. Told our server of our need to be on our way to a concert by 7:30, but our dinner orders didn't arrive until just after 7:00. We requested checks be brought while we were still eaqting in order to be on our way by 7:30.
I=The server was clearly frustrated by the bar and kitchen delays and seemed to be overworked.
We had reserved at 6:00 thinking we'd have ample time for a nice dinner before our 8:00 concert, but it hardly turned out that way."

"The food was very good. The wait staff seems to be a bunch of very young girls just out of high school, friendly, but not super efficient or knowledgeable. When ordering a martini, the question should not be "Do you want that up or on the rocks?" A martini is served up. And when water glasses are empty, the lady with the water pitcher should take note and refill the glasses instead of walking past without noticing. The staff again, was friendly, it just seemed they could use a bit of training."

"I took the time to make a reservation and we arrived on time. So did four or five other parties. 15 minutes after being seated, we went to look for a server to get water. When the water arrived we asked for bread -- and we got 4 thin slices. Then we flagged down the server and asked for more bread.
Drinks order -- one of our party cannot drink wine so he ordered a beer -- restaurant was out of his first five choices even though they were listed on your permanent menu.
The restaurant was short of staff which I find unacceptable when people make reservations. This is not the first time I've encountered the above at Pastiche but this will certainly be the last time I go there for dinner."

"Everyone was super busy and seemed very rushed, food was ok, lacked seasoning, had the Cajun Pasta, zero spice. Order several white wine choice, which they where all out of. Was a long drive for a fair evening."

"We co me to Pastiche every time we are in Tucson. The meal we had on Friday night was, I think, our very favorite. Hubby had oatmeal encrusted trout..yummy. And I had a flat bread vegitarian sandwich and onion rings..delish. Keep on Pastiche. We love you."

"Having met in your wine bar for a Match.com 1st date, we have regularly wined and dined at Pastiche. 3 years and 2 months after our first date, on Valentines Day this year, we became engaged at the same table we first met. I proposed somewhere between the bourbon glazed salmon and creme brulee. Recognizing I was "on my knee" we were entertained and honored with complimentary champagne to celebrate our moment I chose to create at Pastiche. Thanks for contributing in many ways to our memory. Pastiche is a class act through and through. She said yes!"

"A group of 7 (6 adults and one teen) ate dinner at Pastiche in February of 2013.
Food: 3 of the 7 of us enjoyed our food reasonably well. Two who ordered fish and who are experienced at eating fish thought their meals were (and I quote) "horrible". The 6th adult just ate. The teen wouldn't eat the fish in his fish and chips because it was too greasy. The wine was pretty good. They were out of the 3 desserts that most appealed to our group even though we ate at 5pm. The creme brulee was not very good. Other desserts were fine, just not what the people wanted.
Service: Water was refilled regularly. Empty iced tea glasses were ignored. In general, service was good.
Value: Prices high for quality."

"This is a hit or miss type of restaurant. There is no consistency. My wife and I have gone many times over the years. This time we ordered the fish on the day menu. It was halibut. The idea of the preparation was nice. It was served with spinach and couscous. The fish however was overcooked and dry. It tasted frozen like you buy a boxed prepared fish at the supermarket. This was not worth $20. The staff needs training. One staff member did not know what the other was doing. There were constant interruptions as we were trying to maintain a conversation."

"We hadn't been to Pastiche in a few years and we won't wait that long to come back! The food and service was excellent. We started with the prosciutto crostini. For dinner my husband had the shrimp & grits and I had the vegetarian rustic flatbread. Everything was delicious. My flatbread came out cold and the server had the manager come over who offered to send it back. It tasted good regardless. They offered us dessert on the house and we took advantage and got the special the double layer ancho chocolate cake with a cinammon icecream. This should be a regular on the dessert menu. Absolutely delicious and not rich at all. Looking forward to our next visit!"
