"We liked John, our server - he was very friendly and gave good recommendations. The restaurant was chaotic due to a party that needed to be cleared for us to get our table plus a wedding finishing up in the front room - about a 10 minute delay past our reservation time. Nothing was offered to us for the wait - no room at the bar either. The starting breads were excellent, but no butter on the table. The food was very good, except for some over salting. The view of NY is spectacular, as always. Room was cold, with a draft at the windows - the table next to us put on their coats at one point. I recommend taking a table along the inside wall, it may help."

"For a hotel chain attached restaurant, the food is very good. Service, probably because of the specific individual sering our table was lethargic, and there was very poor 'ask me and I might tell you' attitude.
But the food was excellent. One of the entries was a bit salty, the manager immediately attended to it, the entree was replaced with a less salty preparation. The location is interesting also! There are not many choices around this town."

"The service was lacking urgency, nobody came for a drink order until I had to raise my voice and call a server over. Meanwhile to the restaurant had about 4 tables sat, the rest were empty.
My medium rare steak was well done. The french fries were not very crisp, and the salad was 50% stems of the greens.

"I enjoyed the magnificent view of the New York skyline and the ambiance. Appetizers were good and beet salad very tasty but my pasta with clam sauce was very blend and forgotable. We enjoyed our desserts. Service was slow even when the place wasn't very crowded. Still, waiters were pleasant and helpful whenever available. Overall a nice trendy place where to meet friends and enjoy the gorgeous view of the city. Prices are comparable to any New York restaurant and OK for the location."

"I had dinner here last week and specifically went because of restaurant week's $35 meal. First let me say the food was terrific. I had the shrimp appetizer and the ny strip. i would have both again in a minute. my problem was the wine and the waiter. we asked for a red by the glass. the waiter recommend the house pinot noir. which turned out to be ok but not great my means. it also turned out to $22 a glass! which the waiter failed to mention. normally that may not be a big deal but considering we ordered the $35 menu - anyone with some common sense would have thought twice about recommending a glass of wine for $22. at least i would have. not sorry i went but will think twice before i go again."
