California Cuban Cuisine in a comfortable setting. Our cuisine is fresh, innovative, flavorful and carefully prepared. Xiomara personally visits the local farmer's markets to obtain the freshest ingredients.
Due to popular demand we have added several of the favorite dishes from our old Nuevo Latino Menu to our incredible California Cuisine Menu. The current menu offers the best of California Cuisine with a Cuban twist. Seating is appropriate for intimate dinners or large parties.
Not to be missed is our famous Mojito some refer to as the best mojito in Los Angeles. This signature drink features cane juice squeezed fresh at the bar!

"This restaurant is just beautiful, and it is sad that it isn't busier. The mojitos are still the best, served in fun, slanted glasses. The black bean soup is wonderful, the bread and dips to start are delicious. We got the risotto and it was just okay. I think sticking with the cuban-inspired dishes is probably a good call. And get a mojito."

"Xiomara is a real gem. Far enough away from the traffic hassles further west on Melrose, it offers a wonderful ambiance and a creative menu in pretention-free environment. The food is a creative variation on Latin cuisine. Be sure to try the sweet potato croquets and surrender to the temptation of a soufflé for dessert."

"I've eaten at Xiomara so many times and have discovered so many "must have" dishes that choosing becomes more difficult with each visit. This time, though, I did stray from my usual set of choices for lunch, and was happy to discover the yumminess of their Fish Tacos. My dining partner had the Rock Shrimp & Truffle Oil Risotto (one of my usuals) -- that dish is pure genius!"

"We were there for Valentine's day, and I know the prices go up then, but we felt gouged. The food was so-so, but for the price it was definitely not worth it. And $13 for a simple Mojito in a neighborhood restaurant? Compared to other similarly priced restaurants downtown where we have spent previous Valentine's Days — Chaya and Rivera - Xiomara did not measure up. We won't be back. The downstairs room is great, but none of that ambiance translates upstairs. By the way, we are not complainers who live to see our gripes publicized on Yelp."

"We celebrated our daughter's birthday with a group of 9. The restaurant accommodated us on the first floor so my husband and I didn't have to climb the stairs. Xiomara's signature mojito was a great way to start the party. A complimentary fritata starter was delicious. The waiter was knowledgeable and helpful with our choice of wine. All of our guests were very happy with their choices of appetizers and entrees. Service was fast and courteous. This was not our first time at Xiomara and we will be back again."
