City Oyster & Sushi Bar is a classic American seafood restaurant. The seafood at City Oyster arrives fresh daily from local purveyors and from fisheries in the Northeast. It's flown in each morning and filleted in City Oysters kitchen. Some of the more popular dishes are the Yellowtail Snapper Filet, Crab Stuffed Shrimp, Sake and Sesame Seared Tuna, Alaskan King Crab Legs, and Housemade Pasta of the Day. "It was a first time at City Oyster, and must say it was an amazing experience. We started off with the Petite Platter, and it was delicious. My wife had the seared tuna and I had the gumbo. The gumbo is as good as the ones in Louisiana and Texas. And the tuna measures up to any high end seafood restaurant. We will definitely be coming back to try other menu items."

"Food was wonderful...fish tacos are the best, Sushi is awesome, the wait staff were energetic and kind. Will go back again next time we are in town. One note, as expected, mostly seafood on the menue so you may want to consider this if there is anyone in your group who doesn't do seafood."

"When we arrived at 7pm -- with reservations via Open Table -- the hostess apologized and told us they were waiting for a couple of tables to clear so we could get the outdoor seating we requested. Five minutes later, the Manager appeared, apologized again, and bought us two drinks. By 7:15 we were seated at a great table, and had a great meal, with great service,as usual. We would not consider going there for dinner without an Open Table reservation."

"This was our first time here and it will not be our last. Food and service were very good. I had the branzino special and my other two guests had grilled salmon. They both raved about their dishes. "The only critique was for the Kobe beef sushi roll. I've had this type of roll in other restaurants and the beef is sliced thinner. They should slice the beef thinner for this type of roll. Otherwise this is a great place with great food. Love to go here when I'm visiting Delray Beach."

"Whenever I visit Delray I make a point of having dinner here. The food is wonderful and I love the California fish tacos !!! It all makes up for the parking situation but that's why there is Valet !!"

"Everything was very nice. Service was great. I am aware of the influence location plays on price, but City Oyster really stretches any definition of "value." We enjoyed, but it was not exceptional even though it is priced into that category."

"Had a great time, food was very good and service was excellent. Our waiter was very accommodating as we had a 3 year old and an 3 month old with us. The high chair and booster chair we set t the table when e arrived. Oysters on half shell were very tasty. The mussels were exceptional. We ordered the scallop dinner, sushi and twin lobster tails and they all were excellent. I would highly recommend. We have been a dozen times and always hav a rest dining experience."

"My wife and I had dinner at City Oyster with cousins on Monday night and we all had a terrific night. The room was busy, energetic and fun. Our waiter was prompt, friendly and very competent. We started out with very good martinis and then enjoyed excellent raw bar of oysters and clams on the half shell. My salmon entree was excellently prepared amd very good. Others had blackened grouper and linguini with shell fish. Every entree was very good. We highly recommend this restaurant for a fun night especially with a group."

"So sorry I haven't eaten here sooner. From the bread to the coffee it was great. The server was excellent and attention to making sure we were happy with our food and service impressed me. Yet it wasn't intrusive. Good job and very professional as well as great food."

"Good food but the waiters are overworked and it took 15 minutes to even get a waiter, another 15 minutes to order something to drink and another 15 minutes to call the restaurant via cell to get the waiter's attention. So much rush that when we did get the hot green tea, they had forgotten the hot water and this caused the cell phone call to the restaurant from our table. Sushi was above average for a restaurant and my nutty greens salad was delicious. Just need to add another waiter to make service part of the picture."

We had requested a outdoor table, and it was ready and waiting for us when we arrived.
The service was excellent, our server gave us just the right amount of attention she wasn't over bearing and never rushed us---we were celebrating our Anniversary and this was the place to do it!
The oysters were fresh and tasty with homemade crackers ,nice treat!
We did the lobster seafood platter, everything was fresh and succulent and the 3 different dipping sauces made it even better if possible.
We also did one of the special of the night rolls, ours was the Dinasaur roll, fabulous!
Although we must admit we never expected a roll to be priced at $20.00!
Expensive yes, worth it? YES!"

"Admittedly we went there on a quiet night, Superbowl Sunday. We have been there when it was louder and much more vibrant. However, the lack of people actually added to our experience. The food was fresh, delicious and unique. I ordered the Lobster Bisque to start. I felt like Oliver Twist and so wanted " more porage". It was so amazing I licked the bowl clean. My wife and I also ordered the seafood tower. It was so fresh I felt like they went outside and cought the seafood while we were waiting for it to be served. You will not be disappointed with this restaurant. Worth the experience!"
