"Made a late decision on Tuesday evening to go to Dos Caminos, had been before but had some friends in from out of town and knew it was good. The food as ever was very good for a mid-price place, we all found it very difficult to choose from the menu that has lots of appealing options! Two of us shared the Tour de Tacos which were very good (although not huge - have an appetiser!). I was surprised how busy it was, I had reserved a table just before we left the house just in case, and was pleased to have done so as a small group who arrived just before us (around 8.30) were turned away.

"I went to Dos Camino- Meatpacking for Brunch. It was Cinco de Mayo and there was a party on the main floor, but I had brunch upstairs. It wasn't too crowded or noisy, which I think is important when you are trying to have a convo with friends. The waiter Chris was welcoming and friendly. The food came rather quickly, and it was very nicely made and delicious. It is a perfect place for brunch. Chris was an excellent waiter, and very caring. I would definitely recommend to anyone! I had a great time!"

"The atmosphere is more clubby than I had expected, but it WAS Friday night. The music was loud, but we were still able to hold comfortable conversation without yelling at each other.
We ordered the guacamole for two and I had the strongest margarita of my life, but it was super delicious. I ordered the Carnitas, and the boyfriend had the Pollo. The food came quickly, and was excellent. Beyond excellent, actually. My boyfriend hasn't stopped talking about it since Friday. Our server was Marc, and he took good care of us.
Overall a fantastic experience, and we would happily visit again the next time we are in NYC!"

"Dos Caminos is a favorite. Their food really is stellar. I've been to all the different locations in Manhattan and the food is consistently great. The real issue is with the service and I honestly use that term very loosely. If you are in a hurry, don't go to Dos Caminos. If you would like your drink refilled, again, don't go. I find it pretty insane that a restaurant of this culinary quality has similarly terrible service across all their locations. It has to be a breakdown in management or general training. Everyone in my party knew what they wanted to drink/eat before walking in the door, we didn't lollygag or anything after the meal, and it still took us over 2 hours."

"I had a group of friends to Dos Caminos (Meatpacking location) for my birthday, and had a blast! We went for drinks and apps - both were delicious. The service is great - I made a reservation online just 3 days beforehand, the table was ready the moment we arrived, and the waiter let us go at our own pace and was there to take orders whenever we needed him. The music was loud, which made it difficult to talk to people across the table, but we adjusted seating throughout the night to work around it. Other than that, totally recommended, especially for celebrations and as a way to start a fun night."

"Dos Caminos is located in the heart of the trendy meatpacking district. The restaurant itself is surprisingly small, but there is a happening bar down below to subsidize. The noise level was a bit much for me, as it felt like we were shouting in order to hear one another at the table. While the music being played was upbeat, it was entirely too loud and would have been better suited in a "club" atmosphere. The food was fine, nothing spectacular but not horrible. I'd say it is also slightly overpriced-- $16 for three mini chicken tacos that left me hungry two hours later is a bit much. Overall I'd recommend it, just know ahead of time it's not a culinary masterpiece."

"The food was excellent but our service was kind of slow. Granted it was busy but we waited almost 20 minutes to have our order taken and it took just as long to get chips and salsa. Then when our guacamole came it took almost another 15 minutes to have our chips replenished. I found the service to be better at other Dos Caminos locations (Park Ave and Eat 50th for example)."

"Came in with a craving for tacos, and this place did not disappoint. Though it may get a little pricier than your normal taco joint, the fresh ingredients and incredible execution make it well worth it. The guacamole is highly recommended...my only regret is that there's not more of it in an order. There are four of these in Manhattan, but I like Meatpacking due to its vicinity to a lot of my favorite spots for before or after your meal."

"We had a great time for a valentines Day dinner at Dos Caminos (Meat Packing). The food was great, the crowd was an eyeful, and our waiter was ernest and friendly, if not completely professional. We've also eaten at the Dos Caminos Park Ave, and think these are some of the best new mexican cuisine style restaurants around."

"Great spot for Mexican in the city. The building is beautiful, on the cobblestone streets of the Meatpacking District. Food was phenominal-got the vegetarian enchilada with potatoes and kale and other wonderful stuff. Great ladies night out spot."
