"Our second time to have dinner before theatre. This restaurant serves a very wide range of excellent, well prepared and served nicely food. The entire staff is very friendly and obviously has been trained to address every detail to make the experience enjoyable.
Location is fabulous for those wanting to experience the activity at the hub of the theatre district, yet once inside, it is quiet and a well decorated ambience."

"Dinner at Blue Fin was great, especially for the location. In midtown you have two choices: chain restaurant or crazy expensive. If you are going the crazy expensive route, that will be your night out. If you are going to a show, be it play, musical or concert, Blue Fin is your best bet. The food is a bit pricey but not expensive, and is very good. I have tried LOTS of restaurants in the area. This is far and away my favorite and I will definitely go again!"

"We have enjoyed dinning at Blue Fin many times & have never been disappointed. Service is exceptional, but not overbearing. Being gluten free its always nice to have a restaurant that can accommodate your needs & they always do. The servers are very knowledgeable. The food is flavorful & cooked to perfection with just the right touch of sauce if called for. The wine list is well above the average & the cocktails are perfection."

"We've been to Blue Fin many times for sunday brunch. The food is always good quality and it is very good value considering the location on Times Square. One thing we we have found on several occassions is that the food is not always hot. This time we discovered why. Food seemed to come out of the kitchen on trays, was then uncovered and waited for staff to deliver to the tables. In our case my wife's entree sat for 5mins. We pointed this out to a manager who was very apologetic and immediately went into the kitchen and shortly afterwards, food stopped sitting out before service to the table. We were rewarded with a free desert. Now that is what I call service!!! Hopefully this is manintained in future. We will see next time!"

"Very disappointed with Blue Fin. Ate at Blue Fin on May 8, 2013 and had horrible service and the food was not up to par. I had to ask for a salad plate 3 times before I recived one, the waiter came back 35 minutes after my order was taken to tell me that the special dietary request I made could not be accomodated and I had to order another entree. He should have inofrmed me of that soon after I gave my order. I have dined at Blue Fin for many years and have always been very happy with the food and service. Not sure whats going on there now."

"I used to love Blue Fin,and went there quite often, its been a while, so I arranged a business lunch and the experience was awful..service was slow, they got both our orders wrong,the food only medicre and the manager and our waiter really did not seem to care, and the experience was one where I would consider never going back"

"We were seated right away and the host fulfilled my request for a corner table in a friendly and courteous manner. The white wine the waiter suggested was tasty and light. Our raw clams and jumbo shrimp cocktail were sumptuous, and my halibut, gnocchi et al was delicious. The waiter was very kind and accommodating. The ONLY problem was that my dining companion's filet mignon, ordered medium, at first came out well done. After sending it back, it returned the second time too rare. Finally, the third time, it came back medium (and tasted great). The waiter and the manager were both apologetic, and truly worked make everything right. The atmosphere was modern and classy, and the profiteroles and even the bread were fab. We'll be back!"

"I only visit NYC 1x/year, my boyfriend & I loved your restaurant. We really wanted to eat at your restaurant and ran into a scheduling conflict.... we had tickets to an 8pm show but did not arrive at Blue Fin until 6:50pm. The server did an excellent job - he said we had plenty of time! We ordered and enjoyed appetizers and an entree and cocktails and made it to our show on time. Everything about Blue Fin is A+ , we will definitely be back again next year and will recommend to friends!"

"Located in the heart of Times Square and in the fabulous W Hotel, I brought my teen daughter here for a birthday dinner - the food was wonderful. I had the sushi and she had the filet mignon which they cooked exactly as she requested. Staff was courteous and very friendly, made us feel very comfortable. Beautiful restaurant with very cool decor. Large enough for groups and parties without feeling crowded. We loved it so much we returned the next night for dinner again. Equally delicious and the managers remembered it was her birthday! Highly recommend."

"Great food and fun atmosphere - we really enjoyed ourselves and what was spectacular was that we weren't rushed in any way. No two hour window here, at least not on the night we went (Wednesday evening). It was nice to relax and have all the time in the world to enjoy our food and company! Well done Blue Fin!"

"This was my first time at this restaurant, but I had an absolutely amazing time! The decor was absolutely beautiful, and the food, OMG, the food was delectable. Our waiter was extremely pleasant and suggested some great dishes. It's a lil pricey, but considering the location, that's to be expected. I'll definitely be returning in the future."

"Had dinner at Blue Fin before a Thursday night Broadway show. Was able to make reservations easily for 5:45. Arrived on time and was promptly seated on the 2nd level. The decor is very nice with table placement providing the ability to have a comfortable conversation. Wait service was very good. Attentive but not intrusive. Food was fresh, well presented and arrived at a good pace. Overall a very good experience. I would recommend this not only as a before a show restaurant but for a nice dinner anytime."
