"I took my mother to Catch 35 for their Mother's Day Brunch and it was great. The food was exceptional and cooked well, which can be hard to do for a buffet serving large quantities at a time. I am considering making Catch 35 and annual Mother's Day tradition."

"Made reservations and was brought to my table upon entering the restaurant, which was a plus. Afterwards was all downhill. Sat at our table for approximately 10 to 15 minutes without anyone coming to the table. I personally had to walk up to the hostess and inform her about having no waiter. Once waiter took our order, we had to ask for bread. Upon asking for another piece of bread, it was never brought to our table. As far as our entrees, two plates arrived correctly and two plates were not correct. One order had to be returned and once the correct order was brought back to the table, the other people had already finished their meal."

"We frequent "Catch 35" quite often and always love it; however had never been to a Brunch there (they only have it for special occasions and only for about three years or so). We were pleasantly surprised - the buffet was probably smaller than at other places and I believe the only dish geared especially for children was mac n'cheese but......... all the food was outstanding. They did not have a carving station or omelette station but......the best beef tenderloin medallions ever, tasty scallops, fried rice with shrimps, potstickers, the fluffiest scrambled eggs, the best crabmeat eggs benedict and superb lox etc etc etc - and the cutest desert creations.
The service as always was great and we enjoyed our Mother's Day Brunch immensely!"

"Catch 35 never disappoints. we go there for special events, and for just about any other excuse we can find. the food is excellent, the menu is always fresh. great fish, and even tho it's a fish place, my wife likes their steak better than anywhere else. it's a gem of a place in Naperville, a town that is know for lots of foodie gems."

"Been here a few times. Food is consistently good. We had the dijon white fish and asian style shrimp stir fry dish. Very good.
Bus service was good as always, but waiter was probably green... We beleive he didn't know the menu as he couldn't answer basic questions and was extremely slow. Otherwise, no issue. we'll be back."

"The food was amazing which to me is the most important. The service was rather disappointing this last visit. Made a reservation on Open Table for 7:45, wasn't seated until 8:15+. Not sure why reservations are available just to wait over a half hour. Second concern was the seating provided after such a long wait. We were placed by the kitchen where all the wait staff congregates, leaning up to the glass that we are seated at. Got distracting and old having people's backs up against your table. But, the food was great and the server was just fine."

"I was extremely disappointed with this visit to Catch 35. I have eaten here many times in the past and have had pleasant dining experiences, but not this time. I ordered crab cakes from the lunch menu and was led to believe that I would get 2 crab cakes. That seemed fair for the $15 price. What I got was one medium sized crab cake. Although it was very tasty, it seemed an excessive price for such a small amount of food. The other 3 women I was with were equally surprised at what I got. The restaurant was not particularly busy, but our service was very slow. All in all a flop as far as I was concerned."

"They had a gluten free menu. They did not fulfill the request for a window table for my MIL's 75th birthday. :-( we were in the traffic path from the entrance. The kids menu had excellent quality and quantity (a little too much food) for the price. We will definitely return. "Overall it was a nice experience. We felt it was overpriced. My husband ordered a salad to go with his meal it and it was so small, it was ridiculous. For the price of lettuce, I would suggest making those portions a little bigger. I had the lobster and kind crab and had only one crab leg. For 59.95, I thought the portion could have been larger. I am not a big eater, so I was satisfied, but most people would have left hungry!"

"We made our first trip to Catch 35 on a Saturday evening. While the restaurant was busy, we were given a nice table in the corner. Our waitress, Tara, provided us with excellent service. We each had the fixed price special of beef medallions. Everything came out cooked perfectly. We enjoyed excellent Lavazaa coffee. All in all, a nice meal at a nice restaurant. We will be back."

"For the price, I would have thought that the food would be a little better. The food actually was good, but it seemed a little dried out a cool when it was served. The waiter was OK. He was certainly not overly friendly and I do not apprecite it when a waiter reminds me what was removed from the bill as he hands it to me. To me that is a message to leave an extra large tip and that rubs me the wrong way."

"Friday's in Lent mean fish and all you can eat fish frys abound in the suburbs. It was a natural for Catch 35 to include fried fish on their menu - and for all the wonderful fish their restaurant serves, their all-you-can-eat fish was only fair. The slightly thin fillets are corn meal coated and fried properly resulting in crispy, not greasy fish. For this style of fried fish, the taste and texture were fine. However, the thin fries got cold quickly, and the cole slaw was a 1 oz. serving in a tiny cup - along with a cup of ketchup and one with vinegar. I had hoped for a "twist" - something unique, suitable for a restaurant of this caliber. For $17.95 the value wasn't there."

"This use to be one of my favorite restaurants in Naperville but the service has become so bad I would no longer recommend it. Forgot our appetizer, then brought the main course, which they took back and must have placed under a warmer as they then brought apps and 10 minute later brought our food back out. Waiter was not good as drinks were hard come to come by and rarely saw him. Made the whole dinner feel rushed as appetizer and food was thrown at us and then brought the bill without offering coffee. When I didn’t put a credit card down immediately the waiter asked if there was a problem with the bill. There are so many good restaurants in Naperville in the this price range I would suggest trying another one."

"Service and the food was stellar! This resturant was chosen for a date night for my wife and I. We could not be more impressed and well pleased with night as a whole. Even with a large group being placed in the background, the ambiance was very relaxing.
We will surely attend this resturant again."
