Recognized as one of Omaha's finest restaurants, Le Voltaire's features classical French cuisine with a flair. The Executive Chef, Owner, Cédric S. Fichepain is committed to providing an atmosphere of understated elegance, fine service and extraordinary cuisine.
On the menu, you'll find items such as Lamb, Filet Mignon, Fresh Fish, Duck and other culinary delights, complemented by baguette, cheese plate and desserts. Each dish is prepared using the freshest flavors of the season and ingredients of the highest quality. Some dishes are Chef Cédric S. Fichepain mother's and Grandmother's very own special recipes.
Your dining experience will be enhanced by gorgeous interior design with a touch of the southern part of France along with a breath taking floral design of the full bar. "We recently dined at Le Voltaire to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Our table was set up beautifully with flowers, balloons, and a card. We had a wonderful meal of Pork Cheeks, accompanied by the most amazing bottle of Bordeaux from the extensive reserve wine list. Look no further than Le Voltaire for the best food, wine, and service in West Omaha."

"We are from South Dakota and had eaten at Le Voltaire about 3 years ago. Since we were coming to Omaha, we had to return for another delicious meal. the pork cheeks were "melt in your mouth" good and the flavored custard trio was to die for. Thank you for not disappointing us. We will visit again!"

"The food and wine list are fantastic. The ambiance could be better. If the table settings were improved and the noise level decreased this would be a very romantic, fine-dining spot. The noise level took away from the enjoyment of the food, however, and it was hard to focus our conversation. The lights could have been dimmed more too."

"My wife had the escolar papillote and I had Cedric's favorite - bouillabaisse. For me, this was a departure from my normal "go to" selection at Le Voltaire, which is boeuf bourguignon. As with other items we have both enjoyed here, I was not disappointed with my selection. It was terrific!
We come to Le Voltaire on a fairly regular basis, so the staff is familiar with our tastes and habits. When we arrived, our table was set with a bottle of the wine we typically select. Everyone goes out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. That is the manner of treatment you can expect here. It makes for a very enjoyable evening and dining experience."

"Had the filet mignon with Foie Gras special it was amazing. Other dishes that were eaten at our table were the leg of lamb and beef stew, all amazing. Apetizers that were ordered were the smoked salmon and french onion soup, again all amazing. Finally dessert was the trio of pots and lemon tart, both awesome and completely devoured!

"Always great food, we were in the back room next to a large group and the noise was a bit much but that is true in most good Omaha restaurants even without a large group. LeVoltaire is a gem in a city that has many excellent restaurants. We almost always have the same waitress and the service is always great."

"Celebrated my wife's birthday Wednesday night (2/27) and had a wonderful time. Nick was our waiter and he provided excellent service and enhanced our dining event with his quick wit and humor. The food was outstanding, my wife had the "americanized" version of Kobe beef with fois gras melting on top. She shared it with me and we agreed it was one of the best dishes we've ever had. The restaurant was quiet and the mood romantic. This is our third visit and we have never been disappointed. Can't wait to go back again!"

"My favorite spot in Omaha. You always feel welcome when you arrive. If you have reservations, they are always prompt with no waiting. The service and the food is as good as it gets. "The food here is very good, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Meals come with a salad of fresh greens with house vinaigrette and if you choose blue cheese and toasted sliced almonds. The special the night I ate there was a Wagyu strip steak. It was cooked to my request and melted in my mouth. The accompanying vegetables were delicious. The Grand Marnier Pot du Creme for dessert was divine."

"We had not been to LeVoltaire for so long we could not remember how long. Three of us has the filet, which was excellent. One had the duck which he said,was very good but too small of a portion. Overall, it was so good, we will be back soon. LeVoltaire will become one of our regular restaurants."

"Our waitress was wonderfull; she was knowledgable and provided outstanding service. I had the seafood boulliabaise paired with a French red wine. I would definitely order both again.
