The Rye Grill and Bar reopened to large crowds in January 2009 after a major renovation that boasts four separate dining rooms, fireplaces and a front porch. Long-time patrons will be relieved to know that it's still the casual neighborhood spot they've always loved. The Grill offers the same friendly service and menu favorites that made it a crowd pleaser for fifteen years, from it's fried calamari, Cajun chicken quesadillas and 4-layer dip to its salads, pizzas, sandwiches, sliders and burgers. Popular entrees include the Rye Grill's signature farfalle with hot Italian sausage, pan roasted filet mignon, pot chicken and fish selections. Guests may have drinks and appetizers in its lively mahogany bar room on the first floor or enjoy a bit more quiet at the nautical themed bar upstairs. Dining room options accommodate all for, dinner and private parties. Valet parking is available at lunch during the week.
"I usually don't like to eat out on really busy restaurant days like Mother's Day but Rye Bar and Grill made this a real pleasure. Other than a ban on substitutions and a bit more limited menu, it was as laid-back and enjoyable as a Sunday brunch could be. Our server was very pleasant and helpful, everyone was smiling and friendly and our food was great, especially the crab cake Benedict. We were finished before the large parties arrived. If I could ask for any improvement I would like the coffee to be a bit more robust but that is a very minor quibble in an otherwise perfect meal. Thanks so much!"

"My family and I were seated right away and our waitress was excellent throughout the whole meal. We never felt rushed even though the place was packed for Mother's Day brunch. Everyone raved about their meals, from the steak and eggs to the pizza. Would definitely go back!"

"The Room was small but very nice atmosphere. We noticed right away that the air conditioning was turned all the way up and it was only 10am. Our coffee couldn't stay hot. The food was really good but the hot dishes weren't hot for very long. Our waitress was horrible. She really made the whole experience terrible. Forgot our drinks, never checked on us - probably because the full 18% tip was added on the bill regardless."

"Everything tasted delicious and our service was terrific. The only issue is the noise. It's very difficult to hear even the person sitting right next to you. I recommend putting up some sound absorbing wall coverings."

"Met someone here for a quick business dinner. Not really gourmet but overall quite tasty food with a nice atmosphere. We were upstairs which is a lot quieter but also plenty of middle-age master of the universe gazzilionaires over at the bar scene. Nice place."

"Don't be fooled, this stately looking bar does not have the high priced steak menu that normally accompanies mahogany and an extensive wine list. Many sandwiches and palate pleasing entrees create a menu befitting a sports bar who caters to a higher clientele than your normal wings/burgers/hoagies crowd. The food, while not fancy, is prepared very well. I had swordfish, but two in my party had sandwiches about which they raved. The bar is the all star on cold winter nights with a large fireplace and couches. Patio seating for warmer days."

"We made a reservation on line and got a booth which was perfect for two couples. We ordered an appetizer right away to share and had to ask for it three times before it came. Great dinner, we ate everything, but there was a party going on upstairs that increased the already high level of noise. The Seafood Salad is a perfect dinner or lunch and I always ask for extra dressing on the side. The small pieces of fish and two shrimp are cooked perfectly and I have ordered this many times and love it. The guys had burgers and said that they were cooked perfectly to order. Overall I would definitely recommend The Rye Grill and Bar."

"This was my second experience at Rye Grill. First was a cocktail hour for a friend's wedding, and this time for Restaurant Week. Both visits were WONDERFUL. The ambiance is actually one of my favorites in Westchester and the service/food has been completely on par. I live in southern Westchester, work in the river towns but will ALWAYS take a try to Rye for this place!"

"Arrived for lunch and surprised to find it was restaurant week. Ordered from that munu and everything was excellent especially the seafood salad which came lightly dressed.
Had requested a special table upstairs near fireplace which was done and my friend and I were able to have a leisurely, quiet lunch."

"This place always delivers on quality food and good service. Always a solid pick especially with large group - since they expanded there is lots of room"

"The $12 chips and dip appetizer looked like it was scooped out of a can and it was tasteless and small as well. The chicken sandwich was so small and not very good with a giant order of fries accompanying it. The pizza was just OK. No refills on the ice tea. Overall not a good experience."

"This is the first time I have been disappointed with Rye Grill. The salad I ordered for my main course was plain and bland. The service was not up to par, and it was too noisy. I guess I should avoid Sunday evenings."

"Service very bad as they had made a mistake when allocating tables to wait-staff and left our table our completely so we waited for ages with no service at all. Only when we complained did we get any action and no real apology given.
Food and ambiance are good but service just terrible this day. Amateurish management."

"We had a great dinner. We were lucky enough to snag a cozy table by the fireplace. I had the sirloin steak with gorgonzola....terrific. My husband had the filet with garlic sauce and he was very happy, no leftovers. Our son had the Marguerita pizza and gobbled up the whole thing. We ended with the chocolate lava cake....yummy."

"Rye Grill is a reliable favorite for dinner but, even when sitting upstairs, it is very noisy. It seems like they packed extra tables in the last time we were there -- very close together and very very noisy."
