"Food was great but they gave us the smallest table when others was available. We had reservations but they seated us in the worst spot. We were sat at a table were one side is a bench along with other tables that was too close. We could not hold a conversation without the other table making eye contact because they could hear every word. If it was not for the excellent food it would have been miserable evening. They also seemed to rush the meal, we was in and out in 45 minutes."

"The restaurant was nice as far as physical appearances. The food and drinks were overpriced for its quality. The plate we ordered was 28.00. It was of poor quality in relation to price. The food became cold in a matter of minutes."

"What can I say. It was awesome. We ordered a lot and everything was so well prepared. The dobla were good but that's the only room for improvement I could see. Definitely going back and taking my girlfriends."

"My son and I went for brunch and we were not disappointed. Not only was the food great but the service we received was exceptional. I will definitely come again!"

"We got two salads that were mainly green with very scarce toppings, and a bowl of soup. I ordered the seared Tuna to go on the side, and they brought it cut up in a bowl, as though I was a cat. Horrible presentation! The price was $40 and hardly worth any of it. We understand that some places have "off" nights, so we will give them one more try before we completely write them off. There is no way they could possibly stay in business if every meal was like this, so hopefully it will be better next time."

"Overall we had a great dining experience at Blue Fin. The staff was exceptionally friendly even though it was a busy evening. The restaurant has a nice ambiance about it even though it is in the heart of the Sandhills shops. The menu had the usual fare... your steak, fish, chicken, ect. I was a little iffy on what I ordered based on the menu description. Was more of a short list of ingredients. When my dish arrived I was VERY pleasantly surprised. Looked fantastic, and the portion was decent even for mid-$20+ entrees. Everything was prepared very well and we had a great meal. The wine list was nice, though most are full bottle only. Still was able to find a suitable glass. Desert was delicious as well. Highly recommend you try Blue Fin."

"Excellent Food!! Great Atmosphere. Filet was cooked perfectly. Best Creme Brulee in town. Great place for a romantic date or just to chill out and have a great steak."

"We went for Valentine's Day and it was pretty busy as expected. No wait due to having a reservation and service was decent throughout the evening. Liked the calamari appetizer, and the wedge salad was OK. Entrees were not spectacular - but that may have been our choices (fried fish platter and shrimp and grits). I would go back again on a less busy night and give it another shot - they seem to be trying hard to succeed!"

"Our second trip - same great waitress - different choice of food that just didn't meet our expectations as did our first time which was superb. These items good but as superb. Dessert very good and we still enjoyed the experience and will return."

"This was our first time dining at Blue Fin but it will not be our last ! Our waitress was very helpful . She had high praise for the scallops and mushroom rissoto so i ordered the dish. It was delicious ! The portion size was enough to have some leftover . My husband ordered the seafood platter with sweet potato fries . It came with a homemade Tartar sauce. I was impressed with the overall quality of food and service. You just don't get overall quality like that at every restaurant ."

"While the food was good, I think the price points were a little high for some of the offerings. The menu is small, which allows the Chef to focus on dishes, rather than putting out assembly line food. The wine list also seems priced a bit high for the names, though the wines are good. This is a nice place for a casual/upscale feel, with a friendly and very responsive staff."

"This was my first time going to the Blue Fin with my family and we had an outstanding time. The food was great and delicious and our waitress, Kristona, A was outstanding. Kristona, A went out of her way several times to keep us happy, satisfied and comfortable. She was great. I would recommend Blue Fin to anyone who is looking for good food and a great waitress. Thanks"
