"I came here with a group or six women including my mother, aunts, and cousins. Many of us has never been there before. 5 of us order filet mignon and my aunt ordered the halibit, which she raved about. The Filet's were very good and prepared the way we asked, but nothing compares to Jeff Ruby's steaks! Their sides are sharable and we ordered several and they were delicious. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or wanting a romantic evening out."

"We spent a lot of money but got nothing for it, The service was anything but fast anything but friendly anything but acceptable It was supposed to be a nice Mother's Day dinner but my wife's steak was Terrible at best It didn't seem very kid friendly our children were with us The young man handing out water and bussing our table did more for us then our actual server Tables around us were receiving things twice to three times faster then we were we were so far behind in our dinner people were done and They had came in well after us"

"Morton's wasn't crowded. We arrived at 5:30, but menus wern't presented until 5:50, and our order wasn't taken until 6:10. Had hoped to do apps, entree and desert, but by that time didn't have time for all. Entree was served at 6:35, and had to ask for desert to be served (we had orderd desert at the same time as we srdered the entree). Very impersonal service."

"Honestly, for $100 a person I expect the food to be impecable and the drinks to be tasty but strong. The table was small and cramped. My filet was cooked perfectly but the potatoes tasted like they had been sitting around. We won't go back. I am ok with spending $100 per person for a great meal but this was not great."

"We felt very special dinning at Morton's. The great service added to feeling of importance. We felt this was a dressy occasion but there were dinner guest that were casually dressed. "I was recently asked to rate Morton's in Cincinnati by this site. Although I have had wonderful experiences in the past with Morton's (in Washington), the experience I had at this particular restaurant a few days ago was less than stellar. The service was great, but the food was not worth the $247 bill...the steak was average, the sour cream mashed potatoes tasted like instant mashed potatoes, and the salad was a huge bed of lettuce with four tiny pieces of anchovies. In additiion, the $16 glass red wine tasted like it cam from a $10 bottle.
The staff was very courteous and responsive, but there are much better choices out there for this kind of money and the food was far from gourmet....."

"Exceptional service! It was the night of our anniversary. A special menu dedicated to that was presented at the table. The hostess, server, sommelier and manager came by and wished us a happy anniversary...it was so kind and attentive. Food was incredible and the dessert was delicious. Highly recommended. Our wait staff took a picture of my wife and I. Presented it to us in a card signed by everyone! Details that made this night all that more special. Thank Morton's!"

"The lobster my friend ordered had some problem that they had to prepare another one. We waited another 15-20mins for our food. They didn't redo my beef at the same time, it been sit there rested too long while waiting for the lobster to come out together. My beef was dry cracked terrible looking/taste. It's not mid-rare like I ordered, it's mid-well. Disappointed."

"Steaks can be difficult and our's were OK, but not up to the quality I expect for the price. I actually had a better one for about half the price the following week at Outback. The AuGratin potatoes were excellent and the service while a bit slow was good. My biggest dissapointment came in the form of dessert. I had told my wife about the best Souffle I had ever had at a Morton's in Chicago. Our waiter talked my wife out of it with talk of how great the carrot cake was even after I told him that I did not mind the wait for the Souffle since he did not tell us of it earlier as should have been done. He did mention this to a table behind us prior to taking their dinner order so that it could be done in timely fashion. I was very dissapointed."

"Waitress was EXTREMELY nice but never checked on us. Took our appetizer and salad order and forgot to get our entree order. We were at dinner almost 3 hours. Food was fair - felt that I could get the same dinner at Outback for a lot less. Not worth the money!! Everyone was pleasant, just not attentive for a high end steakhouse. Food was not hot either. Coffee was cold. Only part of my meal that was hot, was my dessert - which was fabulous!!"

I don't live in Cincinnati but come here about 3 times a year. Morten's is always a stop for me and the waiters always remember and swing by to say hello."

"My wife and I enjoy going to finer restaurants for special occasions. For this Valentine's (or a few days after), we decided to go to Morton's, as we have been to all the other top steak houses in Cincinnati.
We went on a Sunday night. The place was moderately busy, but not quite half full. The restaurant was under staffed that night, so initial service was very slow. However, once we were served things came out promptly, or even faster than expected. The salads are delicious and the steak and seafood was outstanding. Don't leave without having the warm lava chocolate cake with ice cream!
Morton's certainly beats out the new players in town, and it ranks up there with the local steak specialty "gem" - although the service may"

"Went for valentines day. They set up temp tables due to crowd. My wife and I sat on wobbly table. I don't know....a 200 dollar dinner on a wobbly table? We constantly had to be careful not to spill our wine. Food was good..not great. Rudy's and Chris are better steak houses at these prices."

"Waitress brought us the wrong appetizers. Went their with my girlfriend for Valentines Day. Both of us enjoyed the experience that was the first time either of us had been there. Probably to expensive to go back soon seeing as we are in our young 20's but definitely a place I will return to often. I was impressed by the extensive wine list. My New York Strip was cooked to perfection and was a great match with my Cabernet."

"Caesar Salad, Filet Mignon, Shrimp Alexander,"Twice Baked" Au Gratin Potatoes, Hot Chocolate Cake, and two glasses of white wine...OUTSTANDING! This dinner could not have been any better. Total cost $80.00 + tip and worth every penny. Best Filet Mignon and Shrimp I can remember eating in a long time. The bread served before dinner is delicious and enough to stuff you, so be careful. Service was awesome. View of Fountain Square was like icing on the cake! GREAT JOB!!! Looking forward to our next visit downtown."

"Would not return. Too many good steak restaurants in the Cincy area. Even your sister restaurant, the Chart House (never had a bad meal there)has better prepared food. The new Morton's isn't as good as the previous Morton's Steakhouse. Good cuts of meat but flavorless. Nothing about the meal was notably good."

But did not like the fact that when the bill was presented the first time it included a banquest fee of $994. Had i not check the bill, it would had been a mess to undo. It should never had appeared on the bill to begin with. It was sloppy on someone part to not catch it before it was given to me. Spoiled the evening."

"Morton's is outstanding. Expensive? Yes for sure...but worth every penny. Our meals were prepared and served flawlessly. Our server Valerie was personable and experienced. Personally I still prefer the more intimate setting of the previous location. Lots of people like Jeff Ruby's restaurants for steak. But Morton's is every bit as good. We were worried that the purchase by Landry's (with more emphasis on acquisition than food/service quality) would drag Morton's down--but it hasn't. We have been coming for years to multiple Morton's locations and will continue!"

"For this early Valentine's Day celebration, my wife and I had originally reserved a table at another famed local steakhouse. But a few days before our dinner, we switched back to Morton's. We wanted a quieter, less frenetic environment to enjoy our special dinner. Morton's always finds the balance between energetic and comfortable. It feels more like a dining room and less like a restaurant.
We enjoyed our 2-hour meal, with steaks, salads and wine. The service on this visit with a little less attentive than in my previous visits there, but overall the pacing of the meal was near perfect.
Highly recommend."

"We celebrated our birthday's and Morton is a great job helping us with this event. They prepared separate and personalized menus for our birthday feast.
