"Food and service were fantastic but environment is very low value compared to Sullivan's and Flemings. also, the fact that you allow people to smoke right at the front doors instead of down the sidewalk is horrible. I wouldn't return for this reason alone."

"From the moment I walked into Morton's, I was treated like visiting royalty with warm greetings from the maitre d' as well as the manager. When my dining companion was seated, we ordered drinks and received some well-crafted cocktails: so far so good.
At this point, I must warn the reader: Morton's is expensive. For example, my 12 ounce filet (perfectly cooked, mind you) was priced at $50. Granted it was a magnificent piece of beef, but it came with NO sides; everything was extra. At the premium price, this seems a little mean-spirited.
However, beef lovers will appreciate the quality of the meat; seafood lovers will enjoy the fresh oysters and perfectly grilled scallops. In sum, Morton's is a premium destination with a premium price."

"I have been a bit disappointed lately with steak houses in general. Not what they used to be at all. My filet was good, no flavor though and my husbands New York strip was a bit fatty and small. Thing is this is still the best of the bunch, Flemings, Sullivan's capital grill etc. waiter John was top notch"

I was highly surprised at that. I would like to come back to the restaurant, but I would be skeptical to order seafood."

"Service was great and fast. Food was Good, but i couldn't tell a difference from a $50 steak from Mortons to a $30 steak from Outback (that comes with sides unlike Mortons). They only have bottled beer which seems kinda odd and cheap for a high class place. They have a lot of wine to select from. In the end your really going for the experience which is nice."

"We came here for Easter dinner and brought our daughter home from college and her two friends that are from out of the country. I made reservations on line without any problems, very quick and easy. We arrived about ten minutes early and they sat us right away. We were greeted by everyone with a warm welcome. The manger greeted us before we sat down and when we were done eating to make sure everything was satisfying. The service was wonderful!! We had an outstanding dinner and did not feel rushed at all!! It was chilly in there and I saw a couple people eating with their coat on. That is the only complaint that I had."

"My mom and I had a wonderful time on March 24, 2013. I had advised the hostess prior to arriving that it was my mother's birthday and as soon as I gave my name wished my mother a happy birthday, William, the host for the evening was also very thoughtful. "We had a delightful meal on Easter Sunday in the afternoon. The salads were great (chop salad, salad with walnuts and pears). My husband had the 22-ounce steak and found it perfectly prepared. I loved my crabcakes with a mustard mayonnaise dressing. We had no room for dessert. Our waitress was terrific- attentive and helpful without being intrusively friendly. She certainly helped make the meal as delightful as it was. My husband still has the same one complaint about Mortons. He finds the drinks weak for such a fine restaurant. Otherwise, it was a great experience."

"This was our first&last visit to Morton's. There were 4 in our party. The waiter's heavy accent made it almost impossible to hear anything he said. Prices charged were ridiculously high considering what you received. Both ladies ordered the same steak done the same way which were underdone. The broccoli side dish was served barely cooked with no seasoning. Since we were entertaining clients, we did not send any food back not wishing to embarrass each other. After the entree was served, we were interrupted at least 3 times in the course of 2 minutes to ask if everything was ok. Waitstaff were frequently at our table interrupting conversation. "The food was very good...except for one of my scallops that was cold in the middle. We had asked the server if we could substitute one item for something else. He said we could...so three out of four of us did. Then he came back later and said we couldn't. A manager came over and said they don't substitute items but wanted to make us happy and would do it since our server said we could. Once the meal came they got mine wrong and I hadn't changed anything. They did make it right, but just a bit of a pain.
It is a very noisy place. It was hard to hear each other.
We were there on a gift cert. Way over priced, but you know that going into it."

"The service was great but the food was horrible. I was surprised at how poorly the steak was prepared. I ordered medium rare filet and it was WELL DONE. It was tough as nails. I’ve been to Morton’s numerous times and this by far was the worse steak I’ve ever had there. I noticed the patrons at the table next to me sent their food back also because it was overly cooked. I very disappointed in the steak at a steakhouse; not good."

"Consistent atmosphere and service, however on this night the kitchen made many mistakes to our order. One entree' was over cooked and had to be sent back and another was missing the filet (combination platter). The hashbrowns on this evening were very greasy, dripping of the side of the plate when spooning it onto another. Grant it they were very busy on this Saturday evening but after dining at Morton's often at various locations throughout the country, I was just disappointed on this evening... especially for the cost (dinner for 3, $250. - $300.)."

"It is entirely too noisy there, impossible to carry on a conversation. Our table for two was at the end of an aisle, near the serving area. The wall to my right was used as a storage area and so I was constantly having menus stacked next to me, silverware and glassed set there, etc. I felt like I was sitting in the kitchen. My stuffed shrimp was so over cooked, it was difficult to cut with a steak knife."

"1. We did not like where our table was located. We expressed this to the gentleman who seated us and he ignored us. 2. We ordered filet mignon. My husband ordered medium and received medium rare. I ordered medium rare and received medium. I ordered 6 oz and he ordered 9 oz. When asked if everything was ok, we expressed dissatisfaction with the temperature of the steak (mine). The waiter took it back and returned within a short time with another filet. This time it was rare, not medium rare. I ate it anyway. In the end, much to our surprise, $50 was removed from our bill without us asking."

"I always prefer to sit and dine at the bar, which I did. I ordered the special 3-course meal for $59.95. I ordered the Morton's salad, filet medium rare,side of mashed potatoes, and hot chocolate cake. I really enjoyed the salad. My filet was just the way I wanted it...a warm red center; it was fabulous. The mashed potatoes were very good; I took half of the portion home with me; I hate to waste really good food. The kitchen was having a problem producing the hot chocolate cake, so I had a little wait. The Manager came over at one point and apologized; I was satisfied with that. A few minutes later, the Manager presented me with a wonderful hot chocolate cake; it was yummy! Manager picked up one of my Palm Beachers!"
