"I am sorry to say that I was very disappointed this time, and I doubt I´ll be visiting again. The pasta which use to be very good and tasty, was very dry, but the service was impeccable. I had a much better experience at Sur the other night, but instead the service was lousy. Sorry to be so negative."

"Sometimes when there is a lot of hype or publicity around a celebrity-owned restaurant, it just does not live up to expectations. But Villa Blanca does. It was more intimate than I expected and the staff was helpful and very courteous.
The food was wonderful. I had probably the best paella I've ever had there with bountiful amounts of seafood and beautiful presentation. I took two of my business colleagues there for a special evening and we were all more than pleased w/ everything.
I would definitely recommend Villa Blanca as a dining destination. It lives up to its reputation."

"I was surprised by the small menu options and by how delicious each items were! I loved the beat salad and the sea bass was out of the world. My mother and I a fabulous time sipping on strong cocktails and people watching among the lovely decor. The service was not great, but good. We did come during a shift change though so that may account for what I thought was a lack of more attention. Overall, I would love go back!"

"Villa Blanca was a great place to celebrate mother's day with my mother, aunt, best friend and her mother. We sat on the patio, enjoyed the sun and the relaxed environment was perfect for delicious food and lively conversation. Our server, a handsome, courteous African-Amercian waiter was the icing on the cake. He anticipated our every need, which made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. The food was superb and mouth-watering, with portion sizes large enough to enjoy there and take home for later."

"Service on our visit was great - thank you Jason. But the food was uneven. Ahi tuna was good but sea bass was mushy and cold in the middle - seemed and tasted defrosted. Outdoor table on a nice evening made the meal enjoyable. I would recommend to friends but would ask server more questions about the menu items - "is the fish fresh?" being the most prominent."

"My husband and I have been here several times when this restaurant first opened. We were impressed by the excellent service (there was a host that resembled Chris Rock) and food. Within the past 1 1/2 years the food and service has significantly changed. The hostess told us to wait 5 mintues to be seated, which turned into 30 min past our reservation. Our waitress was horrible! After taking our order we saw her only once more to give us the check. Our food arrived at different times and my dinner was not what I expected. We brought a guest from NY here to celebrate a special evening. Huge mistake! The best part about the evening was a male bartender that took the time to explain a few different drinks/vodkas."

"The food was great, the decor was beautiful and relaxing. But one thing I do have to say is that the owner being from England she does buy some cheap tea, that kind of tea I buy it in smart and final and it costs me 5 dollars for a box. So I would skip on the 5 dollar tea, just wait and go home to make you're own tea !"

"I read the Yelp reviews and figured that negative reviews were from "picky" people. Nope. They were right. The food is under-seasoned and not as advertised. My English friend ordered the fish and chips. She thought, since Lisa Vanderpump was a Brit, it would be great. Nope. It was bland and soggy. I ordered paella. I got risotto with shellfish and a few sausages. It wasn't even close to paella. I don't think there was a single saffron thread anywhere in the kitchen - forget my dish. When is paella ever a "white" dish. Maybe it's all part and parcel with the white theme of the restaurant, but it didn't work. Seriously, I expected much greater things in the food department."

"I loved the restaurants decor, ambiance and the the joy filed server we had. I brought my mother for her birthday and we sat inside to admire all the decor. The food is average, but then again, we got a penne pasta with shrimp. not bad, but nothing too special about the taste of the food. I'll probably be coming here more often during the hot summer days for brunch / lunch."

"We booked this restaurant being huge fans of the RHOBV show from Australia - we were a little disappointed that Lisa wasn't there, being a Saturday night, but the food was divine and our waitress was fantastic. I'm a little surprised at how 'quiet' Beverly Hills is, even at the restaurant, it was pretty much all over by 11pm and walking the streets back to our hotel (Beverly Wilshire) we were lucky to find one or two places still open. Overall a great night, though a little more 'excitement' would have been an extra bonus since we did come all the way from Australia for the experience."

"It was a great Hollywood experience. Great for celebrity sighting. Food was great and service was better. Our waiter Jason (Lisa Vanderpumps son in law) was very pleasant and had a great smile. "Came to Villa Blanca because the wife is a big fan of the show and for a special occasion dinner. Being picky, the restaurant (service, decor, ambiance) could have been better with some minor hiccups, but the meal & food itself was fantastic. I had the prime filet w/mashed potatoes and broccoli and the wife had lemon chicken - A+ for all. The valet outside was very professional and prompt, highly appreciated after fighting through rush hour traffic to get there. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet romantic dinner in Beverly Hills."

"Everything starting with the olive tapenade with bread, was fantastic. Great inventive cocktails like the VB Cosmo(white). As an appetizer, the king cab roll was scrumptious, big enough to share. We both had the grilled shrimp over sea bass and truffle risotto. The chef knows how to cook a risotto, just the right amount of creaminess and flavor. The shrimp had a sweet miso glaze which was just enough, not over-powering. If there was anything less than perfect, it would old be that from VB being so busy, the furnishings are looking a bit tired and in-need of a refresh. But I'm a designer and notice those things. Would definitely go there again, in a heartbeat."

"I usually don't write reviews and I am a big Lisa Vanderpump fan, but we were not impressed with the food at Villa Blanca! All of our dishes were low quality and very bland :( I don't know how this problem has not been addressed! It really was terrible! That said, the restaurant is beautiful."

"Villa Blanca was amazing! I ordered the chicken milanese and it was DELISH! Everyone in my group enjoyed their meal. Our waiter was Lisa's son in law, Jason, who was very attentive and friendly. Her daughter Pandora was also working on the other side of the restaurant. They both posed for pictures in front with us after dinner...a great experience!!!"

"I really enjoyed Villa Blanca. We were able to get a patio seat, which gave us a nice view of the activity on Brighton Blvd. Our servers were very attentive. The chicken salad I had was delicious and healthy. Just the light fare I wanted on a hot LA day. The only problem we had was a tippy table, which was remedied promptly by a staff member once we drew attention to it. The menu is reasonably priced."

"not impressed. I visit all the restaurants with the same standards and feel like this wasnt what I expected or it was advertised. Firstly our waitress wasnt very attentive, the others seemed oblivious about how close they get to a guest's head with plates of food. Made me nervous. Music makes you want to sleep. Food was ok- lobster and crab salad smelled fishy, cioppino was bland and broth was too think, lamb was fatty and overly sauced. The green beans were great and the iced tea was nice when they felt like refilling. Since I did mention on opentable this was a birthday I expected something, but nope they forgot and completely fell short. Will I return or recommend them-definitely not. The many restaurants down the street are much better."

"Thought the ambience was excellent. The service was outstanding, even though the restaurant was really full. The staff was accommodating and very patient. We loved the pillows, which made it very comfortable to sit. And my risotto was one of the greatest,, I ever had."
