"The food had little to no flavor, we asked to have our table moved because the noise was so loud, and the service was so terrible we did not linger over desert and drinks, as we had planned. We will not return, nor will the couple we were with."

"Greeting was poor, 3 people were at the check in stand, yet none of them said hello when we arrived. When we were acknowledged the phone rang and the man who was speaking to us just stopped and answered the phone, as though we were not there.
We had been 1 time before and felt the the service & food were good, Brunch was a disappointment. Nothing was fresh, meat at the carving station was dry and well done. Dry and overdone was the state of the Eggs Benedict, Burritos and potatoes.
We won't be back."

"Advertised as a primary destination for Sunday brunch, I was underwhelmed. My wife was interested in either French toast or waffles, neither was available. I'm used to having smoked salmon or white fish, again, no go. What we were offered was adequate enough although I did feel the price of $34.95 per person bordered on outrageous for what was provided. After all, this wasn't the Four Seasons or the Plaza. After expecting to have a first class Mother's Day brunch experience I was a bit disappointed. Oh well, live and learn."

"We took my mom for the Mother's Day brunch. All of us really enjoyed the food and our waiter was extremely pleasant and helpful, keeping our coffee and water filled, making sure we were all doing well. The other waiter serving the other tables was also attentive in regard to removing empty plates, glasses, etc. There were just sooooo many food choices, with a spectacular array of desserts as well. It was a hit for mom especially, which was the goal after all! We will go there again!"

"We had not been to Citron Bistro before, but chose it for its location between our house and my mom's for Mothers' Day brunch. The reviews looked very good. There was a good selection of food laid out, but it was all pretty overlooked and bland. Making food in quantity for a brunch is hard, and we did have a late (2:30) reservation."

"We had a group dinner at Citron recently. Our waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable. She made sure that we knew about that evening's specials and also about upcoming events and specials at the restaurant. The prices are reasonable and the food is good. It was a nice choice for an extended family outing with kids and the menu has a good variety of items. Our party mostly ate fish (the sea bass) which was nice. (Try the avocado fries for something a little different). The bar had the hockey game on (at an acceptable level) which was a plus for us as well."

"I haven't been at Citron Bistro in over 2 years. I was pleasantly surprised. Seems like they extended their menu. My friend and I loved our food.
The service was impecable. I also observed another waiter who was dealing with a lady and a 4-years old daughter. Mom was not able to make the child eat but the waiter made up some story and the child ate! I have to mention that our waitress was very attentive but not intrusive.
I am coming back! Hopefully, soon."

"We went to Citron with a group of 7 people on a Friday night. This was not our first time there. We chose this restaurant because we had enjoyed our last visit there with a group, and it did not disappoint this time either. Everyone found something to their liking. I had the filet mignon special, and it was served exactly as I requested. One of our group had the Ciaopini, a seafood dish, and he raved about it. Another of our group members has to eat glutin free, and when the waiter found out (Justin), he returned with a glutin free menu. We brought in a cake to surprise 2 of our friends, and the waiter served it, candles and all, and included a bowl of ice cream to go along with it. We had a great evening!"

"This time our waitress was almost over the top as far as being solicitous... a combination of Mary Poppins and Annie! It was "Dining out for Life" night and she was trying too hard to be helpful... but I guess that's better than the opposite. She was nice and overall did an acceptable job. I have been to Citron many times and the pasta dish I had that night was only average... very bland and in a broth that was almost watery but the ingredients seemed fresh and it was OK but not great."

"We usually have a great time at Citron Bistro. However, we went in on their 5th anniversary, which was busy, but not overly busy, and our service was awful. Our waiter came to take our order, and that was about all we saw of him. He never asked if we wanted more water or if we wanted another drink. We had to flag him down to get our check. Will go back, but will avoid that waiter."

"It was nice. There was a woman (customer) who dropped by a table right next to us, didn't take a seat and talked for close to 20 minutes standing up - it was sort of intrusive (by the way she was also in the way of the movement of the waiters - irritating). We feel that someone from the restaurant could have found way to at least get her to sit down. My husband felt that the service wasn't what it could have been - rather slow and dismissive. The food was good. We'll come back and give it another chance. Overall, pretty good."

"It was a good brunch. Very tight area where the food was served - too crowded.
Waitress tried to charge for 3 adults and 1 child. It was 2 adults and 2 children under 12. I questioned it as the website stated children are under 12 and she argued that children were under 10. I pulled up the website on my phone and before I could mention it she changed her mind and told me she would honor 2 children. She made me question whether she was being honest with guests."

"We were there this time for Easter brunch which was a buffet.
The food was very good, the assortment excellent, and it was all presented well. I can't say it was the biggest spread in town but we certainly didn't want for anything. Well maybe waffles. The lamb was fantastic as was the seafood.
The price was good but by the time we added coffees and mimosas the tab climbed but that was expected."

"Easter brunch was really good - plenty of options, fresh food and attentiveness of wait staff made our experience even better. Carving station with ham, lamb and beef, omlette station, crab legs & claws, shrimp, mussels, eggs benedict, bacon, sausages just to mention some of the options we tried - it was all delicious. Dessert bar was to die for! This was one of the best brunch experiences we have had in Denver - we'll be back!"

"I was there for Easter dinner. The website made no mention that they were only serving a buffet. We decided to stay anyway. The food was lukewarm to cold. The prime rib was overcooked. The desserts were tasty and so was the fresh fruit. The rest was bland, cold, and for the most part overcooked. Despite the fact that there were not many tables full when we arrived our waiter was not very attentive. Several times my water glass sat empty even though that was the only thing I was drinking. When he did fill it water ended up every where and he didn't wipe it up. We will not be going back."

"We decided to check out Citron Bistro as one of the restaurant's participating in Denver Restaurant Week as their set menu looked delicious. We made a reservation for 7:00pm on a Saturday and had to wait about 15 min for a table. They were pretty slammed. Once seated, we also had to wait for 15-20 minutes for our server to take our order. She apologized as they probably weren't expecting to be so busy. Everything was amazing and our server was VERY attentive throughout the evening. The grouper was fabulous and their chocolate bread pudding and creme brulee were outstanding. A true gem that we will visit again. The noise level was very high, so it would not be the best spot for a quiet romantic evening."
