"The view was tremendous and the food was excellent. I had a petit filet and it was the best quality steak I've had in quite a while. It was very tender and cooked exactly to my specifications. The cognac peppercorn sauce added an extra dimension that made the meal a true stand-out."

"The service and ambiance were outstanding and 2 out of 3 entrees were 5 stars. The 3rd was a nightly special - flatiron steak, which was a really small portion and the sauce was a bit bland. My ribeye was perfectly cooked and topped with blue cheese, the other shrimp entree was excellent too."

"I'm a native Coloradoan and used to eat at Simms Landing long ago. Admittedly, I haven't been to the restaurant in a while, but that will change now. The food was extraordinary and the service was first rate. We were there on a Wednesday, when the wines over $70 are half price!! This is going to be w welcome addition to our circle of restaurants."

"My kids and I went to Simms Steakhouse for my son's 18th birthday. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The atmosphere was energetic. We enjoyed the view and when my son got home he sent me a text saying what a fantastic birthday dinner he had!!!"

"Someone needs to tell the company that if they offer brunch until 2:00, that this means everything is stocked and plentiful until 2. My family had reservations at 1, and most of the bins were empty and not being refilled. When we complained, items were brought to the table, but who wants to ask if you want more? It is very pricey and I would have expected more for the price. Additionally, the carving station was near out of roast and what was served was actually raw as opposed to rare. It was an embarrassment to take my Mother there from out of town to celebrate Mothers Day."

"We came to the brunch at about 12.30. What was disappointing was the biscuits and eggs (the gravy tasted funny). The rice was not fully cooked and the prime rib was way too rare (and I like medium rare). In addition, the crablegs and shrimp table looked like what you see at someones party at the end of the night. The omlettes were good though."

"We have eaten here many times. Usually with a large group of business friends. The food and service have always been excellent in the past. This time the service was awful. "The view is great, but Simms lacks a bit of substance. The souffle bread might've been my favorite part of the meal, which isn't ideal when you're spending $100+ on dinner for two. My husband's steak was cooked correctly, but the server had entered the wrong order for me so he apologized and went to reorder the correct one. My husband didn't want to be rude so we both sat there, looking at his plate and waiting for mine. I expected a bit more of an apologetic attitude from our server upon seeing my husband's steak had now sat there for 10 minutes getting cold. We got no offer of dessert on the house to make up for it, and instead got a schpeal about joining the Landry's dining club. It didn't leave a great taste in our mouths."

"This was our first time eating at Simms Steakhouse and we were thoroughly impressed. The occasion was our wedding anniversary and we requested a view of the city. We were met with a congratulations and our own personalized menus commemorating the occasion. The food was excellent, from the appetizer through the entry. The recommended wine was perfect for the meal and by the way, the view of Denver was fantastic. We will definitely put the restaurant A list of our selections for future dining."

"Dinner at Simms Steakhouse was a really nice experience. The food was superb and the overall ambiance was lovely.
Service was initially quite good, but became less attentive as our meal progressed. We had to wait for some time for the dessert order to be taken; our server actually presented the bill before double-checking if we wished to order dessert. It also took some time for the bill to arrive back to us.
The valet service definitely went above-and-beyond.
That said, we will return - and soon.
Another note: there were a number of prom groups that evening. I'm impressed that Simms Steakhouse developed a special pre-fixe menu for them. That was a really nice touch!"

"We went to this restaurant expecting a GREAT steak. It was probably one of the worst ever!!! We love to order ribeyes... Yes we know they have fat, and we eat out all the time from the average restaurant to the VERY BEST. With that said the ribeye here had the most fat I have ever seen on a steak!! It really wasn't even editable! We complained to the waitress (which it was not her fault) and she let the managers (2) know... Amazing neither one even came to our table! Would NOT recommend this restaurant due to the grade of meat ( my suggestion would be for you to upgrade to a better grade and raise your price if need be!) and your customer service needs to step up or you will be out of business before long..."

"We are Landry's Select members and eat at many Landrys restaurant but this is by far one of the best. Everything was outstanding. The view is incredible and you can see 40plus miles. Our waiter Vince went above and beyond and the manager made certain that all everyone was very pleased. We celebrated a birthday there and it certainly made for a special occasion. Although it's called a steakhouse, some of our party enjoyed seafood appetizers and entrees and they were just as excellent as the steak. Portions of appetizers, entrees and desserts were large. Plan to return again and again and also try out the Happy Hour as the menu for that looked great as well."

My husbands Rib Eye looked more like a flat steak that you'd get at Lone Star and tasted about the same. My Mahi Mahi smelled and tasted fishy! Our Tomato Caprese was flavorless and the tomatoes were not ripe. They did have a good wine list, but that's the only good thing I can say about it. The prices were way to high for the food they serve, unfortunately to get a quality meal you still need to drive into Cherry Creek or Denver. We will not go back to Simms nor will we recommend it!"

"We had our Easter Sunday brunch at Simms. We were looking forward to it as we had heard very good things about their brunch. The food was good but it was so crazy in the brunch area that it was hard to even know where to line up etc. Also, many of the food items were out each time we went back to check (roast beef, strawberries). The service was fair to OK. I know you do not need much for a buffet but we had to flag down our waitress in order to get drink refills etc. So overall it was Okay not sure if we will go back for the buffet."

"Overall our experience was very good. Service was great, but food wasn't up to our expectation. Specifically the calamari appetizer was nothing special and left us feeling that we paid too much to try it. But the souffle-style fresh bread that came with the meal was AMAZING and my ribeye was perfection; however, my husband's prime rib was disappointing. View from our table was top-notch and definitely helped make the experience great."

"I am a salmon aficionado. On one trip back home to the Pacific Northwest, my wife kept track and after the trip informed me that I'd eaten salmon on 9 of the 10 days we were there. The glazed salmon dish at Simms Landing was one of the best treatments of salmon I have eaten in my 70 years. Clearly Pacific wild-caught salmon--not the farm-raised mush that one finds in most Rocky Mountain and Mid-west restaurants. And the bed of lightly sauteed vegetables in a balsamic vinegar preparation was the perfect complement.
And, of course, the restaurant is justly billed as having a superb view of Denver by night."

"the food was not prepared correctly and had to be returned. One meal we decided not to even try again. The cooks clearly do not know how to prepare fish or cook a steak to specifications. It was too bad since it was for a birthday. The waiter on the other hand was fantastic."

"The views were breath-taking! The food and dinner rolls were to die for. The modernistic rennovations are amazing. The female bartender was noticeably rude which is what earned this place a very good instead of an outstanding rating. We will definitely be back. This place is great for a date or anniversary.
