"I have eaten dinner at Aspen's many times and always had a great meal, it is the Sunday Brunch I am reviewing. The food was not good at all, not like the food we have for dinner. The selection was not good and the taste of the food was awful! Would never go back for brunch again."

"Being Mothers Day expected something special with their brunch. I brought 8 family members and in my estimation, the only thing special was the higher price. The selection was very limited and the food was warm at best. I would certainly not recommend to any of our friends."

"First time dining at Aspen Steaks. Arrived on time and was seated promptly to eat with my Mother on this special day. The restaurant was full and chaotic with servers and diners all over the place at the different serving lines which indicated poor planning. Server pouring the water in the glasses got more ice on the floor than in the glasses which led to hazardous conditions. Service was self-serve except for the drinks. Food was as shown on the menu online for Sunday brunch. Breakfast is best as the lunch items tended to be more dried out and overcooked especially the meats and desserts. Overall good. Go for breakfast and skip lunch especially dried out pork tenderloin and bread pudding. Have fruit instead..."

"We came to Aspens to celebrate Mother's Day and my son's confirmation. It was the perfect fit for this family celebration. The food was good and round table was spacious enough for our entire family to enjoy each others' company. I would recommend this restaurant for a family event or night intimate evening out."

"ordered the prime steak NY Strip and after receiving a over done rib eye which was returned got a choice at best strip. Partner had a much better chopped salad.
It was prom night and I guess they got overwhelmed with the youth, tuxes and sparkly dresses."

"My wife and I were celebarting our 20th wedding anniversary and decided to go some place special. We chose Aspen and we made a great choice. The salads were on cold plates, the ribeye I ordered was cooked to my liking and served hot. The steak just melted in your mouth. Our server was great and at the end of dinner they gave us a piece of cake on a plate that said " Happy Anniversary". Aspens was great."

"First time dining at Aspens West Cobb and will return. Requested a booth when made our reservation and was accomodated. Food and service were very good. We both ordered the filet mignon and they were cooked to order. We ordered a variety of sides to sample and all were good, especially the macaroni and three cheese and the spinach. The lobster add on was slightly undercooked. Definitely recommend the light and dark chocolate mousse cake dessert as a great ending to a very good meal. Its good to find a quality restaurant in the West Cobb area and not have to drive to Buckhead or Sandy Springs!"

"I went alone and found out that there's a regulation in Cobb County, according to the manager, that one person can't order a bottle of wine. One can only order by the glass, which, as we know, has its limitations concerning selection, and the taste can be affected by how long the wine bottle has been open to the air. It was disappointing. I enjoy a glass or two with a meal and cork the remainder for a nip at home. This is the first I've heard of such a rule. I haven't had the experience outside Cobb County.
My prime cut N.Y. strip was prepared medium rare, which was perfect. But the presentation of the steak -- an island of meat alone on a plate, naked -- and the pile of mashed potatoes on a second plate left a lot to be desired."

"Last-minute plan. Made Open Table reservation on the way there to meet another couple. Was able to get our regular table with our regular server, John Lumpkin. John has waited on us for several years and does a great job? This was half-price wine night, so the 4 of shared 2 bottles of great Cab for not much $. It was the early-bird, so we all ate for a bargain price. John Sweeney, aspen's Corporate Chef for both locations, was there and came out to see us. If you're near The Avenue West Cobb, do yourself a favor and become a regular."

"Outstanding restaurant. The menu is updated, unique and reasonable. Wine list is broad with a lot of unexpected finds. We go for normal dinners, but also for birthdays and our anniversary. Service is exceptional and on par with any "name spot" in Metro Atlanta. It's always our pick when we want to be spoiled for the evening. If you go for red meat you won't be disappointed, but everything else is equally great. Last night, my wife had a wedge and the trout while I had the pork belly followed by scallops. Never had a meal that was lacking. Try a wine dinner there - the chefs always knock themselves out with presentation and quality. Bar is great for a drink or a casual meal. Oysters are as good as you can find anywhere."

"We were in a party of four for Sunday brunch at 2pm. We were seated within a few minutes of our reservation. The dining room was full but we were comfortable. Services was very good and attentive. Breakfast foods were plentiful and excellent, lunch items were standard fair and good. Next time I would reserve for early to mid morning and focus on breakfast items. "Because it's so close to my house, I've eaten here many times. I keep hoping the next time will be better but it never is. I had to order my main course 3 times over the course of 15 mins. because they kept running out of things. Finally received Salmon and it was dry, overcooked. For the price, I'm done with this place."

"We love Aspens and dine there fairly regularly. This night my wife ordered the lobster tail special which, when it came out, had been fried - a miscommunication in the kitchen. However our waitress, Jean, was on top of things and the manager got involved and a properly prepared lobster was delivered only after a short wait.
The food in general is always great, the service has absolutely always been perfect and Jean upheld that tradition in fine form.
Need new pics on the walls - my only suggestion (not a complaint.) The cattle seem to be eyeing me while I have my, ahem, steak."

"There were 6 of us for a Sunday Brunch. The wait staff was more than acommodating since 2 in our party were not on time. We were in the middle room near the fireplace and close to the walkway to the brunch buffet which was nice for us. Food all looked very appetizing and was tasty as well. Enjoyed that there was quite a few lunch items besides the breakfast foods. Did not realize we had to wait until 12:30pm on a Sunday to order our Bloody Marys at West Cobb. The waiter also asked the bartender to tone down a few of the Bloody Marys since they were quite spicy. Only complaint was the table next to us had a very loud baby and the grandmother did not seem concerned that other diners were getting upset with the noise and constant commotion."
