From farm to table and vine to wine Cosmo Bar & Dining offers something for everyone. The local bounty shines through as the restaurant features an array of local products from farms, ranches, vinters, and breweries around southwest Colorado.Offering distinct places to enjoy the cuisine the rooftop patio is covered providing ample protection from the elements while providing premium views of the surrounding mountains. The elegant dining room provides choices of tables or booths to relax and sample creative concoctions from the bar.
Cosmo is great place to celebrate special occasions so be sure to let us know how we can elevate your dining experience. We are open 7 nights a week starting at 4:30.

"We were in town for the Iron Horse Classic Bike Race and went to Cosmos with a group of seven we were seated on the roof top patio. The menu was great, we all commented that there were several things that we wanted to order. Our server was friendly and the drinks were great. We will be back next year, save our spot!"

"My wife and recently went to Cosmo's for a relaxing meal. We were not disappointed. Mena our server was very knowable in the wine selection process. My food selection was perfectly cooked and presented. The same goes for my wife's. I can't say enough about our great experience."

"Even though there was just a chef change the food was outstanding and the service attentive. We chose three starters, one better than the next and split the special fish of the evening - marlin. All the sauces were creative and very well balanced. A terrific place."

"I've been to Cosmo two times. The first was great all around. This last time was pretty bad: service was slow, air conditioner was on at 8 p.m., and the food was so-so. Appetizers were great but entrees were tiny, lukewarm and way overpriced. My blueberry pie was microwaved and tasted like glue; crème brulee tasted goopy; doughnuts tasted like cardboard; and the strawberry shortcake was bland and mealy. Dessert last time was fantastic. Not sure what the problem was, but the next day in the Durango Herald there was a story about how the restaurant had been closed for two days before our visit because the staff walked out. All I can hope is that our experience was an anomaly, but again, for $200 I really don't feel like taking another chance."

"The food was very good. I'm not sure I'd order the prime rib 2 ways again but my husband had a fish plate that was excellent. The service was attentive without being over the top. The atmosphere was very pleasant."

"My husband and I absolutely enjoyed the experiment! Everything went absolutely perfect! The only issue I had was with the space between the tables. My chair was back to back with the person behind me. It was a bit hard to maneuver up from the table. Other than that, we very much enjoyed and will be back to experience rooftop dining!"
