"Very good. It was our first time dining there and we were pleasantly surprised. I found the negative reviews to have absolutely no merit. Steaks were great, as were aps and desserts. Service was very good as well. It was a bit loud, but not so loud that we had to raise our voices to hear each other. Would definitely recommend this spot."

"Always consistent for the neighborhood. Good, strong drinks and steaks were cooked exactly as requested. Our only drawback on our most recent visit was our waitress, who was terrible. She was pregnant and serving us in the back room enclosed by the wine case. She was slamming everyone's dishes on the table, never checked back on us and just had a horrible attitude in general. Maybe she was hormonal or something, but then maybe a pregnant woman shouldn't be waiting tables."

"Incredibly designed and decorated restaurant outshines the food by a mile. If you like an inventive menu, big portions with a big price, then this is the place for you. The steaks were really good, but the rest was mediocre. My recommendation to the restaurant is to slow down a little, increase the quality of the ingredients, shrink the portions a bit and you would have a dynamite restaurant."

"Very nice place and food is well above average. Our server started out as very friendly, yet got more curt as the dinner service went on. He brought our salads and appetizer at the same time - and our entrees came out before we were finished with salad/appetizer. The french press coffee was full of grounds and when we sent it back he said, "It still might come out this way again." (Like he was trying to convince us to keep the bad pot!) He left the check on our table without so much as a thank you...Not cool coming from the very same server who interrupted me during his taking of my dinner order so he could say thank you and good night to the couple at the next table!"

"Wow,just left this spot after reading all the great reviews and could not have been more disappointed.I asked our server for recommendations between two dishes and she repeated back to me the description that was on the menu even though she said she had tasted both.We ordered one app to split and I ordered a salad prior to my dinner, but the app and the salad came out at the same time. We had as an app the spinach and artichoke dip. I thought it would come out with some nice garnishments, maybe veggies or pita bread, or gourmet crackers.Nope, it came with salsa, sour cream and tortilla chips. Really ? My dinner, grouper with crab was tasteless. My wife's dinner - edible.Dinner for 2, one app, two drinks was $100. Not even close to worth it."

"Food was OK but not worth the $180 spent. My boyfriend and I were unhappy with the appetizers and mediocre desserts. Main dish was great; however I would be hard pressed to return for a meal that isn't absolutely stellar all around for that price. The service, I have to say, was totally outstanding!"

"The restaurant was a pleasant surprise. It was much larger than I anticipated and the noise level was quite high, however, the decor made up for it. The food was good although my risotto was a bit overdone. The truffle fries were quite good and a huge portion. The large size of the restaurant probably hinders their ability to really place careful attention to the detail of the food. For instance my scallops were almost black on one side a bit over the desired golden color."

"Good appetizers...horrible entrees with absolutely no flavor. Very expensive for food that really wasn't up to level of quality they were charging.
I got a crab & lobster pasta with a supposed saffron cream sauce. I could not believe the amount of salt I had to add to get the dish to have some sort of taste.
Very disappointing, particularly for the price."

"We went for Valentine's and it was a big disappointment. I asked for my salmon to be medium rare and it was overcooked, my 10 years old daughter couldn't eat her mac and cheese because it was really spice and my husband's swordfish wasn't that good either. On top of that we had to wait 20 minutes for our dessert to arrive."

"We were there for Valentine's Day so it was more crowded than would be normal and the menu was set, but the food was excellent, the steak devine and the service friendly enough even though they were clearly struggling with the numbers. Very nice place with excellent decor. Recommended!"

"The restaurant had only a pice fixed menu that night and we did not know this until we were already seated. That is something that patrons should've been made aware of ahead of time. I've had the entree that I chose this night and it was NO WHERE as good as the last time."

"The food and service is always excellent here. We prefer to sit in the front room adjacent to the bar but sometimes it is extremely noisy, especially on Friday's. Maybe it's better during weekdays but we usually go on weekends. The back room is pleasant too but it is very large and tables are close together and it has no ambiance like the front does."

"Service always good. I have eaten here before and would recommend the steaks as the have always been excellent. This time I tried the linguini with lobster that was only claw meat and was supposed to have something else like crab but I couldn't find it. Side salad with entree was great for only $5. If you don't like noise ask to be seated in the back dining room. It is quieter than the lively front area near the bar."
