The original Shula's Steak House, located in Miami Lakes, is a virtual museum of the 1972 "Perfect Season", an elegant atmosphere decorated with game balls & pictures of that '72 season. Shula's serves the biggest & best. All steaks are Shula cut, Premium Black Angus, including the signature 48 ounce steak.

"I have eaten at Shula's before and found it to be just ok, however this time I must say the entire experience was excellent. Everyone's food was better than expected. I am not a big dessert eater but would highly recommend the Carrot Cake.

"Took wife for moyhers day. Everthing was nice and mellow, some what Romantic, Great view of golf coarse, Nice Dining. Good service. The only ONE thing that was a negative is that the flavor of the Ribeye and Filet minon were very very bland. I was expecting bold flavors, Especially from Shulas and for the price."

"Had a great meal with my 11 year old daughter to celebrate her. Service was great and waiters were excellent. Because of the portion size they offered to split and present appetizers salads for us. Only recommend, place was too dark, felt like we were in a cave.

"Upon arrival, the valet strolled over to the car as if he didn't want to be there. The hostess was friendly. There was no wait on being seated even though we arrived 15 minutes early. Everyone was extremely loud, I could barely hear my guest speak. I thought we were in a high class sports bar. I was a little disappointed in the food. It was very bland, barely any seasoning. The best things were the house steak sauce, the wine and the water."

"We arrived and they did not have our table ready. Being Valentines day I understood, but did not appreciated it because the table was secured with a credit card per restaurant policy. We asked for a booth and we were told that a party of 4 was waiting for it. We looked around and saw no party of 4 waiting, however, a few minutes lated we asked again and we were seated at the booth. The waiter was very nice. The order taken correctly. The surf and turf was very nice. When the check arrived I had to argue with the manager because the check had tip and tax as additional items. Their Valentine package flyer specifically mentions it was included. This is an obvious attempt at double tipping. The manager should have known about this!!!"

"I have been dining at Shula's Steakhouse Miami Lakes for years and I couldn't recommend it more. The staff is friendly, professional and do their best to be accommodating. The food is spectacular. When it comes to steak, I have dined at Ruth's Chris, Steak 954, and Capital Grille. And while all of those restaurants have their fine points, to me Shula's is the best. Their product is consistent and after so many years the staff gets to know you like family. It's a comfortable, no-frills environment. You can choose to sit by the bar for a more intimate atmosphere or sit by the window to get a view of the golf course."
