"We were seated right away made to feel comfortable immediately. Highly recommend the Bone Marrow appetizer. YUM. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the wait service was very attentive. Overall a very good choice."

"Landmarc Tribeca now makes dining there easier as they take reservations. I like the menu sometimes better than the food. Still, I would recommend it for both lunch and dinner: just know that it is rather ordinary where once it seemed above the ordinary."

"This was my second time dining at Landmarc and didn't disappoint. The food here is amazing and the people who dined with me were first time Landmarc visitors. While the staff was somewhat hauty this visit, the food didn't disappoint. I highly recommend this as a must-do while in Tribeca."

"We are at Landmarc often; it is in the neighborhood and has dependably superior food and quiet, effective service ... this time, not so much. There was a large party (20+ would be my guess) and it brought the kitchen to their knees ... apps took 25 minutes and the main another 25. The waitstaff tried (valiently) but without a kitchen, they were sadly overmatched. Odd since there are often large parties there, but very disappointing. We'll be back ... but not soon."

"About three hours before our reservation the restaurant called and said they had an issue at the restaurant and therefore would be unable to honor the reservation! There was no further explanation."

"I really love watching Marc Murphy on Chopped and I was expecting so much more from his dishes. I ordered the goat cheese profiteroles and my husband got the salmon tartar. Both were okay, nothing spectacular. We then shared the pasta of the day, which was a spaghetti bolognese. Now that was the best thing on their menu (in my opinion). It was rich with flavors but not too heavy. I ordered the roasted chicken and husband had a steak. Again, both were okay, nothing memorable."

"Disappointed in service and food at Landmarc. Appetizer and food arrived simultaneously, at which point a confused staffer said they would take entree back to kitchen and reorder, as to come out hot and fresh after appetizer.A proper response, I thought. Well upon the completion of salad course, out came luke warm mussels, packed in a pot, that was to small for the generous portion of mussels. Apparently, put a aside and never made a new order. I'll take quality over quantity especially with shellfish.. When the bill from another table arrived, it was clear to me that this restaurant has lost control of its overall service and quality control.."

"Chef Marc Murphy of Chopped fame on the Food Network is the owner of Landmarc. On Chopped Mr. Murphy is an outspoken judge who critiques the dishes participants prepare. The food at his own restaurant is incredibly poor. It is tasteless and bland, no trace of seasoning, herbs, or the most minimal trace of skill. We were a party of two surprised by how dry and ineptly prepared our dishes were. Even if you think you can't cook, you can do better at home. The restaurant's menu is a simple one, but the chef and staff do not have the skill to prepare the dishes properly. Mr. Murphy needs critique of his own food and restaurant; I am surprised it is still open here in TriBeCa. Embarrassing!"

"Very nice staff, but our waiter was not particularly knowledgeable about dishes on the menu - how they were prepared, etc. I would go back, but not in any rush. They had a really good variety of well-priced wines."

"Had a great time out to dinner. Had two bottle of nice wine with good food. Reservation at six; dined for 2.5 hours. Midway through it made a noticable shift from families to a more adult clientele. I will deffinetly be back."

"The good news is that Landmarc now takes reservations. The bad news is that the service has declined to the extent that our meal was not enjoyable. We had to continually ask for our waiter who took over 5 minutes to come. Ordering wine was even worse - it took them 10 minutes to bring a bottle of wine. It's a shame as Landmarc used to be a fun place to eat and hang out."

"A colleague suggested that we try Landmarc while we were in NYC for a long weekend. We were looking for a nice restaurant that was “kid-friendly.” Our children (5 year old twin boys) are well behaved and enjoy dining at nice restaurants without engaging in unnecessary childish behavior. Landmarc was perfect for us. The food was excellent and it was certainly kid-friendly without being a kid restaurant. We will definitely be back on our next trip to NYC."

"Landmarc was great for our brunch party of 20 adults and 6 children (ages 6m-4yrs). Staff was very good working with our group and food was excellent as usual. However, it was a bit frustrating and disappointing that we were not allowed to bring our own cake, even though Landmarc does not have a pastry chef. Restaurant insisted on charging $4 per person, which would be fine if they provided the cake. We told them that we would pay a lump sum to bring in a cake, but this was not acceptable. As such our party went on without a cake."

"I LOVE Landmarc!! I have actually been going there for years and their service, food and drinks are always deliciously consistent!! Their steaks are phenomenal and the best hands down (I don't say that lightly as I have had steaks at Peter Luger, Old Homestead and Michael Jordan's Steak House)!"
