"First time visiting! Took my Dad for his Birthday. We enjoyed the Chef's Table Buffet. Great selection, and most everything was very good. Also enjoyed the dessert bar, those cookies were huge ;-) We enjoyed being able to see the court and some players warming-up while we ate. Our waiter, Mike, was awesome and very attentive! My Dad really enjoyed his Birthday dinner ;-D Try the restaurant out before a Rockets game or other event. It's a nice and different experience."

"As always the service is spotty. Forgot our bread until we finished our desserts. I would say service is bad 4 out of 5 times. Food was good as always but the desserts weren't as good as usual. As much as I enjoy going there before a game they have to improve the service."

"waiter was spread too thin that night. Little interaction, drinks weren't filled in timely manner. Plates were placed on table in a hurry. Just seemed pre-occupied"

"My boyfriend has season tickets and this was our first time to try Red & White Bistro. It is a little pricey, but worth it. The spread was very good. There is a little something for everyone. Everything that I tasted was delicious! The service was great as well. We will definitely be back. Hopefully for a playoff game!"

"Good food for a buffet and decent service. Not sure about the actual "value". 2 buffets, 1 glass of wine, and 2 bottles of beer (no appetizer, no desert) totaled $121.00 plus tip.
Not sure the value is there, but it is a nice and convenient place to go before a game or concert."

"The food was just okay for spending $155 we left saying "well been there done that" and probably will not go back. The drinks were good which are about 1/2 of the bill."

"We thought it was pricey-- should include 2 drinks. We had to walk a distant to the buffet. Seat location was by the kitchen. Not romantic at all if you are looking for that type of restaurant."

"We really enjoyed our meal and Michael our server made an extra effort to make it special for us. He was very prompt with our drinks and extra plates, made recommendations for our vegetarian guest, and generally made our visit a fun event. He also took care as we began our meal to explain that the restaurant would "go dark" early to accomodate Sir Elton's request, so we were warned ahead of time to not linger too much between courses--much appreciated! The only disappointment was the lack of a dessert buffet, something I usually count on when dining at the Red & White."

"My four star (very good) rating was based on our overall experience. I will start by saying that the food was very hit and miss on the buffet. We had a baked fish dish and the prime rib that were very good. Some of the side dishes I think were either old or had been frozen. We went the night of the Elton John concert and we were satisfied based on the fact that we were in Toyota Center in plenty of time for the concert and overall had a very enjoyable evening. If you are in the market for a "foodie experience", go somewhere else! If you are in the market for an overall experience, this is an O.K. place. I think Elton had a lot to do with our overall experience!"

"One of the unique dining venues in the Houston area. It never disappoints. The staff is friendly and the servers most attentive. A great place to take business associates and out of town guests."

"This was my second visit. Both of my visits were prior to a Rockets game. The Bistro is inside the arena, so it's very convenient to get to your seat for the game or any event at Toyota Center after dining. The food was great with a vast selection. All the staff was very friendly. Our server Michael, was especially attentive and extremely professional. We'll be asking for him on our next visit, which will be soon!"

"Good night at the chefs table. The early seating is best for less noise and food just prepared. All the food was very good. Nice mushroom and pearl onions en croute. And the eggplant, Brussels sprouts dish were great compliments to the NY roast and beef ribs. And I enjoyed the mango and coconut dessert. All well done."

"The restaurant is sort of an upscale casual kind of place and a great way to watch a Rockets game. The food is good and plentiful and different every time you go. Some days it is Continental, some days Chinese, some days it is Mexican, etc. The buffet style goes with the whole game day ambience and there is always something for everyone. Everytime I go, there is a carver and the prime rib is delicious. The desserts are always a really cute (and delicious) surprise, too. There is also a nice bar if you prefer to just hang out and have drinks with friends."

"Perfect location when attending a game or concert at the Toyota Center. Especially if you are not interested in burgers and hot dogs from the general concessions."
