"We started our lunch with a cheese and charcuterie platter, which had a nice variety of cheeses, meats,marmalade,pickled vegetables,bread, and a few other items. It alone is worth the trip. Our main course was a grilled romaine salad and one salmon and one chicken addition. Well prepared!
The grounds at Normandy farm are charming and worth walking around. I was disappointed with the cost of the wine. 15$ for a 3 ounce glass, but the food was reasonably priced."

"The Farmers Daughter has the potential for greatness. The quality of the food was excellent, unfortunately, all of it was undercooked. I had a beet salad and the beets were hard as rocks. I ordered a filet, medium and it was rare. The roasted potatoes served with the filet were rock hard also needing to be cut with a knife not broken with a fork. The portions were generous, almost too much so and the price was very expensive which I don't mind if the food is good. Smaller portions and lower prices could be considered. My friend and I spent $130 for two, no alcohol and only one dessert. I would not choose to return."

"Fabulous overall, the only reason service got a 4 is the assistant waiter was not very polished. Interupted our conversation with out saying excuse me and when pointing to the cheese and meat appitizer on the dish to explain what the variety of cheeses and meats were his finger touched some of them. And the entrees were mixed up which isn't a big deal. I look forward to going there again in the near future."

"My wife and I were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. We had heard good things about the restaurant and decided to take a 'taste'. We had a good dining experience but not a great one. The food was tasty but we both agreed that the price of the meal was a bit too high for the quality of the food we received. I ordered the braised short ribs which were good - but not worth the $29 price tag. For dessert, we ordered a $12 cheese plate consisting of 4 cheeses. One of the cheeses was so infused with pepper (a spicy cheese) that it completely overwhelmed the taste of the cheese. On a plus note, the service was outstanding. Our waiter was knowledgeable and personable, and turned our meal into a more pleasurable experience."

"My group and I were so pleased that we were able to sit in a private room for dinner. The food on the new spring menu was delicious. The only problem that we had was that all of the hot entrees came out together, but my seared tuna salad took 10 minutes longer. I think that they forgot to make it. It was a pretty annoying to have to sit and watch the others eat, and mine was the cold item! In the end, I would probably go back again."

"This was my first experience but my daughter has eaten there quite often. I was there for the brunch and you had a lot of everything so nobody could say that wasn't a good selection. Our only problem was trying to get cream for our coffee. The girl was very nice but she forgot us and by the time we asked again our coffee was cold. But that wouldn't keep me from coming back."

"We met the other couple in the bar at 7:30 and figured we would have an appetizer and drinks. The service was extremely slow. When we arrived, we told the hostess we were in the bar, we had an 8:00 reservation and they could find us there when our table was ready. After several check-ins and reminders to the staff that we were waiting, we did not get sat until 9:00. The servers were not very knowledgeable and very young. Our dishes were brought around to us auction style - "who had the tuna?" I think that at this price point, something a little more professional is warranted. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli. The sauce was extremely sweet and thick and the ravioli itself was bland. Your money is better spent elsewhere."

"The Charcuterie was outstanding, our waiter Scott(whom we have had on numerous occasions) was well versed on the menu and the specials and was especially attentive. The Food,was delicious and the wine selection by the glass, was pleasing. We have been there a number of times, enjoyed the entire experience."

"We were a group of 10 girls for our annual brunch and really enjoyed everything. The food was excellent with a lot to choose from. The place was not too loud so we could all hear each other and we especially liked the fact that we were at a round table where we could all speak to each other. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back."

"I was there with 2 little kids for my mother's 75th birthday family dinner. They gave us a private room to prevent noise which was great for everyone not only us. Everything was very good but the food. There was not may choice on the menu. We, 10 people, ordered all of the food on the selection (I guess there are only 7 or 6 choices available on the menu), but all the food was too salty. The bread was all overcooked. Yet, price was very high and the 20% tip was automatically added up to our bill. We paid $450 for just sitting nice setting restaurant not the food. We all agreed not to go there again."

"Wonderful menu with all ingredients sourced locally. Creative dishes with something for everyone. Really nice cheeses and salads. Wine list offered nice selection and while we ordered a bottle, we were intrigued by the flights. We had the scallops, roasted herb chicken, the filet mignon and the cowboy steak (huge) special. Don't miss the buffalata appetizer. All fantastic and very accommodating to the Tweens in our group who were between the kids' and main menu (there's a 6 oz filet on the kids' menu which is a great option at a great price). Service was a little slow given that the restaurant wasn't terribly busy. But all in all, we were thrilled."

"Our first time at Farmers' Daughter. The menu was very appealing...something for everyone. The food was very good and served with great presentation! Our waiter was excellent. Helpful, but not intrusive!

"Farmer's Daughter is a restaurant inside a cute historic-like hotel in Blue Bell. Nice space over near the large bar with chairs and a fireplace. The restaurant itself feels a bit sterile with lighting that is a bit too bright and it's not a really comfortable space. With that said, the food and service make up for the lack of ambiance. Our table had the chicken, salmon and filet - all were amazing. And the grilled romaine was tasty. If in the area, I'd recommend. It is a clear step up from the "chain" options in the vicinity."
