"This is the second time we have eaten here. Both special occasions. For Green Bay it's a little pricey but for that special evening it's worth it. Food has been good each time. My husband loves the seasoning choices for the steaks...last time he had blackened, this time he had Peppercorn. Both were excellent he said. I had the lobster tail this time...it was good. Service has been very good both times we were there. We have been lucky to be seated in a booth each time toward the back...less noise. Definitely romantic with the low lighting. Will definitely go back again."

"Great food, great atmosphere and great service. Even though the dining room was busy, it felt like we were the only diners in the restaurant. I was actually surprised when we left to see how many other booths were occupied. Our server was fantastic giving us just the right amount of attention and privacy."

"The food was excellent, the tuna appitizer was nit what I expected and would not order it again.It was very salty.The main entree we had was the Jameson Steak.It was fabulous!!! I had leftovers, but forgot them at the table.Out waiter was very attentive, but not overly.Love love this place!!Made reservations, and would suggest this if possible."

"Republic Chophouse was fantastic. They have many options and all sounded delicious. My ribeye was great and my gf's sea bass was as well. We also had an appetizer and dessert and both were great. It was a nice experience, albeit a bit pricey. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy a very nice night."

"This was the first time my wife and I ate at Republic Chop House, hands down this is one of our new favorite resutrants in Green Bay. The service was great, our waiter never rushed us and was not always at the table following up with you ever 3 minutes. I felt that we never felt rushed and we were able to enjoy the evening out. Our food was perfect."

"High end of the price spectrum for Green Bay. That's unfortunately the big takeaway. The food was hit and not hit (nothing was a miss - just unremarkable) - can't afford that at these prices. Everything needs to be "on".
Server was Mark - he was excellent - he could compete in any restaurant in any market.
I came away with the strong feeling that this is a place I'd go with a group of the guys I hang out with on a special occasion. The menu, the portions and the ambiance all feel kind of "Chicago Steakhouse". It's likely the best in Green Bay for that purpose."

"Everyone respected our wish to get out on time, and location is perfect for walking to the Meyer. The ambiance was excellent--soft urban, very welcoming. The food was very good, I ordered the sea bass, while the other three went with the horseradish blue tenderloin. The salads were crisp and ample, the vegetable sides just right, simply prepared. No one was disappointed. We will definitely go back."

"Had a HORRIBLE meal. Ordered my ribeye medium, it came charred to a crisp! I'm talking BEYOND well done. I also ordered the 8 oz side of king crab legs with it. They had the nerve to bring me out a SINGLE crab leg and charge me $23 for it!!! It was a joke, as a matter of fact that was the conversation for the rest of the meal, how ridiculous it was to bring out a single leg and charge $23 for it.. My friend also got charged an extra $2 for her bacon on her bacon cheeseburger, which did not have bacon on it.. Very disappointed! Will not return or recommend to anyone.."
