"Way over priced!!!!! I have no problem dropping $300 on a meal I've eaten at some top steak resturants from Baltimore to NY to las Vegas and for the most part I've had great experiences. Sullivan's is not kid friendly. We ordered wine and it came in the smallest glass I've ever seen. My steak was ok but definitely ot worth the money I paid and $8 for a baked potato is a joke. The wait staff was great but it didn't counterbalance for the food. There are a lot better places to eat in Baltimore for less. I won't be back."

"For the money, i would rather go to Ruth Chris. Something about this place just doesn't hit the mark. just the small details. Dont care for the rock/pop music playing a little on the loud side. lighting seems stark.. wait staff good but do not seem as seasoned as they should. wait staff not as attentive. steaks not served on a sizzling plate...limited salad dressing selection..served a luke warm 9 dollar potato..meat not cooked to correct coloring...all these things are more "perfect at Ruth Chris"

"My husband and I went here to celebrate our very 1st wedding anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better place! The service was great as the waiter and servers waited on us hand and foot. The ambiance was wonderful as the place was really dim and romantic - the perfect setting for our special occasion. The food was awesome...we had the crabcake for an appetizer, which to be honest, is a joke for 2 people..but it tasted awesome. The steak, lobster bisque, and the Caesar salad was all amazing as well. This place is also hidden away...drive slow or you could roll right past it! Overall, Sullivan's is pricey but worth it! We are definitely coming back here!"

"Lunch special consisted of two shrimp and two scallops -- we were starving afterwords. Too much time passed between clearing of table and asking if we wanted coffee/dessert. Then - despite the restaurant being almost entirely empty at that point - dessert still took 15 minutes to bring out (and they were pre-made cakes -- nothing that needed to be put together at the time). By then, two people had excused themselves to get back to the office and we didn't even really want our desserts."

"Sullivan's Steakhouse saved the day! I had made a reservation for a client dinner and when we arrived they had me in their books for the previous day. I had gone into change the party size so perhaps I accidentally changed the date? I started to panic because the place was packed and thought we would have to wait with our two clients forever, but the hostess was able to seat us in 10 minutes and no one even knew there was an issue with the reservation. Whew! Our server was wonderful, and a lively addition to the client dinner which was must appreciated. Everyone really enjoyed the food Sullivan's and a good time was had by all! I would go back in a heart beat!"

"We went here for a friends birthday and had a delicious meal.. A few of us chose from the prefix menu which was a great amount of food. The calamari was very good if you like some heat and the cheesesteak spring roll was fabulous! The filets were large and the sauces were very rich..
Since it was a group of six, we also tried the deviled eggs that were ok but the stuffed mushrooms were very large and good.. The birthday guest got the bread pudding that was like heaven.. So good!"

"Great Steakhouse, the service was great. The food was excellent. The portions were nice and cooked just how we asked. I took my wonderful wife there for her Bday. What a pleasure. The prices actually surprised me, I was expecting it to be a lot more expensive then it was. Their specialty drinks were great. The food was brought out timely cold was cold and the hot was hot. They made it a wonderful Bday for my wife. We enjoyed our drinks, food, and her complimentary strawberry cheesecake as her Bday dessert."

"Sullivan's served up so-so food and service at an extraordinary price. Our Filets cooked medium came out charred and dry. Oysters Rockefeller--all 4 of them--were scrawny and unworthy of their namesake. No mention was made of my husband's birthday, even though I expressly noted it in my reservation. For $125 per person, a far superior experience can be had at other top restaurants in Baltimore."

"The salmon was very under cooked and returned undercooked the 2nd time with half of the portion missing! We returned it and tried to find something else on the menu but by that time it was late so we didn't order another dish. "We went at 5pm on a Saturday evening prior to a ball game. We were one of the first tables seated.
Our server was not focused on us at all. In fact, in between... coming to us, I'd bet money... he was catching smoke breaks!
Drinks we not brought in a timely manner ( forgetten twice) nor was the horseradish brought until my husbands steak was almost gone.
We are paying top dollar for food, we expect better service. The food was good, but the sub-par service was a disappointment."

"We had a fantastic waiter who was very knowledgeable about the wine list AND the food--he'd tried everything on the menu. Also, it was may boyfriend's birthday and I was sure to ask that they find a way to say "happy birthday" somehow during the evening. As soon as we were seated, the waiter said "a little birdie told me that it was your birthday, look forward to having a slice of our amazing cheesecake! It's on us..."
That made him (my boyfriend) feel very special. I was happy that no one came out cheering and clapping as they usually do at restaurants--causing a bit of embarrassment. Instead, this was a nice, classy way to highlight our dinner together."

"Not good,the server came out quick and got the drink orders, but we later had to ask for bread!. She never told us about any specials. We (myself,wife and 9 year old son) ordered dinner,since there is no kid menu we would just split our food with him. The salads came out, the plates were not chilled and the salads were very under dressed!We asked for more dressing. Finally the dinner came out I ordered the bone in rib eye medium, it came medium rare, my wife got the lamb chops,the server said it would be better if we got it cut up into single chop so we did,the lamb was way over salted,my son who loves lamb chops said "they put too much salt on the lamb". We said something to the server,her first response was that's the way they should be"

"We have been to Sullivan's a few times. We usually only go on special occasions, but we decided to try the Price Fix menu, which was excelleng. We had a very pleasant dining experience. One of the things that we really enjoy is there is ample time between courses, so we did not feel rushed. The noise level was such that we could enjoy conversation with our party without raising our voices. The service was very good."

"Our group of four had an outstanding time at Sullivan's. While a bit pricey, we were very satisfied with our meals and the portion sizes for the money. The atmosphere and wait staff, especially our server, were excellent. It made for a very special and well hosted evening."

"I just want to send a quick note, I made the reservation for Friday the 22nd and we were in town on the 23rd! So to my surprise when we went to Sullivan's they didn't have my name. They were SOO SOO accomodating sat us right down and took great care of us!
I forgot the waitress name but Oscar was the one at the front!!"

"The restaurant is beautiful and located directly across from the Light Street Pavilion. Do not be fooled by your GPS. They do not have a kid friendly menu. Expect to spend $50/person just for the meal. That doesn't include appetizers, drinks and dessert. I wouldn't recommend the deviled eggs either. Very pricey."
