"Was great to have a fixed menu for Mother's Day, and to receive a complimentary mimosa. The portions were huge, too big for one person. Thankfully, we saw that and ordered appropriately. I requested the egg scramble to be egg whites only and it wasn't attractively presented (although it's hard with only whites) but tasted ok. Overall, it was an ok place for brunch."

"Bluwater is a great spot in the heart of north greenlake. we love coming here because this was the site of our first date. we have been married now for 4 years and cant get enough of Bluwater..... from the food to the atmosphere to the service... A+ all the way"

"We made a reservation via OpenTable to ensure that there was a table available for our family on a Friday night. Upon arrival the front of house seemed surprised that we thought we had a reservation, but then 'found' a table for us promptly. After we sat, we waited 20 minutes for a server to acknowledge our presence; in fact after several attempt to flag down a server and several passing glances from waiters/bussers we had to get up and go get someone to take our orders.
Our waitress ended up being very congenial and attentive, however the fact that nobody took the initiative to ensure we were helped, and that our hand raising/waving was ignored was unacceptable."

"I was told on the phone that I was able to have as many checks as need for my party, but only one card per check. This was wrong, it was in fact one check with as many cards as possible. They said the system is to old to know how to do more then one check. We had to figure out how to divide up our own check, and it took almost an hour for the waitress to process each payment."

"We checked the website before we went to the restaurant. Several items listed online were no longer on the menu - one of which we wanted to order. When we asked our waitress about this, she said the menus were new. That is fine if they want to change their menu, but they should update the website too. The french onion soup was listed on the menu, but when we ordered it, the waitress said it was no longer available either. This tells me their menu was not even current although it was supposed to be new. Our hamburger, which was good, was 70% bun and lettuce. The best thing was the banana nut bread which was tasty. Not clear on S & S if they want to be a brunch place or a lunch place. Parking was horrible, but that's Greenlake."

"I was very disappointed in their wait time (over 40 mins) and in their food. I asked for medium prepared steak and I got very well done. The wait staff was excellent. I don't think I can recommend Blu Water for Valentines day anymore."

"I actually wouldn't have given the experience any stars, not because it was that bad, but because I didn't get to experience BluWater Bistro. It was Valentine's day and they were clearly, clearly overbooked. The whole bar area was filled with couples waiting for a table. I came on time at 7:15 and when i check in, i noticed there was at least 4 slots at the same time. All the tables, including the ones for four plus customers, only had two people at the table. We waited at least half an hour and then decided to take off to eat somewhere else. When we did leave, there was 5 more couples above us in line and it's kind of disappointing that any place overbooks themselves on valentine's day, when there clearly wasn't enough tables to begin with"

"This is a cute classy little joint next to Greenlake. The vibe is very nice, you dont feel out of place if you're not dressed up, but fit in if you do. The food was amazing. We had fish dishes and the flavors were perfect and it melted in your mouth. They have a good selection of drinks that are not the run of the mill mixtures. It's one of my favorites for a splash of seafood. Go here- not Duke's which is next door!!"

"Our dining expectations were for a cozy intimate environment for our anniversary to share a well prepared meal, with a welcoming and attentive staff yet not intrusive. They were more than met. With a good wine selection and menu with eye catching selections, we both agreed a bowl of the French Onion Soup sounded like a great start to the chilly evening and what a great choice that turned out to be. Savory and scrumptious! It turned out to be more filling than we realized, so by the time our entrees arrived, we were already full. But the Campania was delicious and made some of the best take home pizza we have ever had! And the Dungeness Crab Mac & Cheese was creaming and flavorful. Thank you for a lovely evening."

"The plates were really greasy and gritty before any food was even on them- I sent one back but the replacement empty plate was just as greasy - I ran my finger across the plate and could see a visible streak in the grease on the plate. Maybe the dishwasher was broken? Food was just ok. Waitress was very very nice. Would not return."
