"I've been to Vincent's four or five times in the last couple of years, as my daughter attends college nearby. Each time, the food has been great and the service has been delightful. I wish all my dining experiences were so satisfying, don't hesitate to visit."

"I am a vegetarian and did not see more than a couple of items I could purchase on the menu. When I asked if there was anything different they could make with me, the waiter, without hesitation came up with several options. I was very pleased with my meal and would definitely go there again.
Their canoli's are out of this world!"

"We went during Jazz fest, so it was busy, but they made every effort to get us seated in a timely manner. There were lots of groups seated, laughing and having a great time. It is also a great place to bring a date, low lighting and a very attentive wait staff. There are many great items to choose from, it made it difficult to decide. Great little neighborhood restaurant!"

"We always make a reservation to come to Vincent's when we're at the Jazz Fest. Four of us had dinner--three were totally pleased. I had the soft shell crab--one of the best I've had. The fourth person had spaghetti and meatballs and found the sauce very bland and not a memorable experience. All in all, if we're in New Orleans, we'll be back!"

"The waiter was so disengaged that while pouring the wine, he missed and poured it on the floor. While placing a water glass he slammed the bottom of the water glass into the top of the wine glass, and finally dumped a salad on my lap and the floor. The staff quickly came to sweep the salad off the floor, but did not address me or my needs at all.
The salad was a small fist-full of field greens thrown on a plate with a single cherry tomato. All of the entrees, including the fish and poultry came saturated in butter and cream; a clear sign that the chef has little to no understanding of food.
There is great food all over NOLA. I would avoid this place at all costs."

"Great Meal. We have been coming to New Orleans for years, and always thought Vincent's looked cute while passing on the St. Charles Street Car. We had their specialty canneloni which did not disappoint. (Rich!!!) Also a seafood pasta. Good salad, service was great and will be back. Easy to get to via the street car if you are in the quarter or cbd."

"We went here on the recommendation of some friends and were very pleased with the service and the food was outstanding. It was probably the best shrimp fetticine I've ever had. "We made a reservation, and got there about ten minutes early. We were told we could wait at the bar until the table was ready. We were there definitely more than ten minutes, but it was pretty busy, so it didn't bother us that much. The food was great. I have to stress that. However, our server was pretty bad. Not only did he take his time getting to us, but he practically threw down our drinks, and never came for refills. I've heard you can get bad service if you don't order alcohol, but I did have a glass of wine. But again, food great, service terrible."

"The food was amazing, but the service was really lacking. The waiter was very impersonal and rushed us to order, never offered to bring us drinks, etc. I ordered a glass of wine which he forgot to bring. Unfortunately, he never stopped by to see if we needed anything during the meal, so I never got my wine. Overall the food was great, but don't expect great service."

"Had such a great experience on our first visit last month for Valentine's day, my wife suggested that we go back to Vincent's for our anniversary. The food is wonderful and service cannot be beaten. We will be back often."

"Vincent's was its usual vibrant self and very nice dining experience. The waiter made a mistake on our check, but was very quick to correct it. I chalked the mistake up to a very, very busy evening in the restaurant."

"This is an excellent restaurant. The chicken vegetable soup is delicious as is the bruschetta appetizer. I get a different entree every time because everything sounds so delicious. This is my boyfriend's all-time favorite Italian restaurant in New Orleans and he has only ever gotten the veal parmesan and believes it is exquisite. The service is great! I will definitely be back!"

"A bit disappointed that we were able to book a reservation about 20 min before yet when we arrived there was a 30 minute wait beyond the reservation time. If there was that long of a wait they should not have allowed additional reservations. The meal, as always was great."

"Vincent's used to be one of the many restaurants that didn't accept reservations. It had horrible wait times and the place is way to small and the bar too crowded for a comfortable wait. The reason I decided to go to Vincent's was b/c they were now taking reservations and I wouldn't have to endure the wait in an incredibly crowded restaurant. But I might as well have not had a reservation. We got our table an hour and a half after our reservation time and it's exactly the same as it was before. Not a great place for a first date when you are crammed against the bar and constantly having to move for waiters to squeeze behind you. The food is good but not great and the service could be better."

"Let me start by saying, as a 2nd generation Sicilian - American I am very critical of Italian restaurant food since I always compare it to my mom's and the food you get on Arthur Ave in the Bronx or Little Italy in New York. Having said that, I would rate Vincent's as mediocre - 3 to 3.5 stars. I had the lasagna - which lacked the variety and depth of flavor and texture in what I think of as authentic Italian. My wife rated her spaghetti and meatballs as good (note: she's only half Italian).....but added that those weren't my mom's meatballs! Both of us thought the chicken soup and the salad as just ok. On the definite plus side is the service which was great and the ambiance - great little local restaurant. We rode the streetcar fro"

"The food was terrific...very large portions. Our service was adequate at best. Our server seemed rushed and pained by our questions. Not a good scenaio when your paying $300 for four people to have a nice dinner. Still, this will not dissuade me from trying this restaurant again."
