"I was given a gift certificate , and held onto it, until family came in town. The Sunday brunch was amazing, even outdoors at 11:30 in June it was comfortable. The waiter new the menu, and could explain what we where eating, and his recomendations were spot on.
I was not disappointed, because it was a leisurly brunch, and we never felt rushed. I am excited to bring my husband back for a dinner that he and I will enjoy alone."

"Although the setting is beautiful, the food was very disappointing. It is supposed to be a French restaurant but there were mostly pasta dishes on the lunch menu. I had a salmon salad with green goddess dressing. The dressing was flavorless and the salad was all the same greens. The salmon was cooked properly but the rest of the salad was bland."

"This place has a fantastic setting, which is probably what keeps it in business. But at $31.00 for what turned out to be half a duck breath, way overpriced. The service was great, when it happened, but the waiter weekend very flustered most of the night. The hostess graciously changed our table when we were first seated under a mister though. Overall the restaurant was alright, but there are much better ones around. I doubt we will come back, even though we are in Las Vegas often visiting family."

"Don't go hungry (we did) and don't go with kids (we did).
The wait time on the food (dinner) was about 1 hour (the restaurant was not crowded). Wait staff were pleasant and attentive which made us think that the delay was in the kitchen.
The food was very good, in retrospect, but the long wait time plus increasingly hungry and restless kids took the shine off our dining experience. The setting was very nice but there is an outdoor area which was initially cooled by water spray which was turned off at which point we really started to feel the Las Vegas heat."

"If you are a lover of wine you much come here. I have been here many a times and I will continue to come back, however, this last visit dampened my enthusiasm to dine here again. I love the wine selection and the staff is amazing, but the food has faltered a bit. I was slightly disappointed in the portion sizes from the cured meat plate we had (which was well done) to our entree size (I had two little lobster portions in my mound of corn agnolotti). The server, Joe I believe, was amazing. I inquired as to the portion size for the lobster in the entree and he promptly came back with a more satisfying amount. It was greatly appreciated. The plating looked outstanding, but the food wasn't the quality I once remembered."

"We ate lunch and were overall disappointed with both the service and meal. The fries were the highlight. The sandwiches were all very average; we would really like to love this place, but...
Service was unprofessional. Our waiter, Richard, repeatedly reached across in front of people to clear plates and provide menus. He brought the check out and presented it in front of our daughter - 16 years old! When he brought the silverware for dessert to the table he was holding the spoons by the head vs. the handle! Very unprofessional, unpolished service.
I thought Marche Bacchus had turned the corner and was coming back strong. Apparently not. Both Jeff and Rhonda were there so it wasn't just the staff having a "goof off" day."

"The front of the restaurant is a wine shop. Restaurant is surrounded by a beautiful lake with swans, turtles and ducks swimming along. I opted for the 3-course Lakefront Lunch Special plus a complimentary glass of chardonnay. Great house salad consisting of mixed greens and tomatoes in an orange poppy seed vinaigrette; poulet frites--pan roasted chicken paillard with french fries; a delectable dish of creme brulee. In addition, I ordered some bolognese pappardelle with pulled short rib, stewed tomatoes, parmasan and basil, which was rich and tasty. I also had a scrumptious entree of seared scallops with roasted white asparagus, avocado and watercress puree. Dining here certainly reminds me of relaxing in a European setting."

"I saw this restaurant featured on a television show and it looked so inviting I had to go. On my next business trip to Las Vegas we went to this restaurant and had a great time. The menu was was varied and appealing. Attached to the restaurant is their wine store. You could go and pick out a wine and have it served at your table. Very good selection of wine at all price points. The food was wonderful, the patio was comfy and intimate, great views of lake and a nice quiet but fun atmosphere to enjoy your meal by. Highly recommend."

"This was my second time to MB. I was hoping the service would be better this time around but unfortunately I was disappointed again. The staff in general, apart from the manager, had a general apathy towards their customers. Last time I ordered the quiche- it was good, nothing special. This last time I ordered the crab and asparagus Benedict. It was just mediocre and there wasn't much crab. A few people in my party ordered the Lobster salad and were disappointed to find out that the ratio of real Lobster to imitation is 60/40. Overall the food is nothing to rave about and completely over priced. The ambience however, is beautiful. Looking out at the water, you don't even feel like you're in Las Vegas."

"We celebrated our 20th anniversary at this restaurant, it was well worth the 1/2 cab ride from the strip to find it, however would recommend a car rental for future visits. The food was exquisite, the ambience was warm and inviting, and the staff and owners friendly and helpful. The 'help yourself' approach to the wine list is quite unique, their collection is amazing and most wines are rated in the high 90's."

"While our group of five enjoyed the food, the service was beyond slow. This was a Tuesday night with a 6:30 reservation. I recognize the difference between "not being rushed" and the waiter forgetting to come back to take the entree order. Everyone liked their entree selections very much, but the $13 heirloom tomato salad had the equivalent of possibly two thirds of a tomato on the plate. All the fancy dressing swirls on the plate couldn't hide the lack of actual food.
The setting is lovely, overlooking a lake. We spent well over $50 in cab fare to get there and back from our hotel on the strip. The service made the the trip disappointing."

"Great meal! Marche Bacchus is great for sitting out on the patio for dinner on a nice evening! Great selection on the menu, and very good French food. I have been here many times and love it. The only draw back is the wine shop and ordering a bottle of wine. Example - Molly Dooker (retails at Lees/Total Wine for 24.99 - 26.99) Price to buy at the store 29.99, price for "resteraunt" is 39.99. Still a great bargin, but they charge an extra $10 from the retail for the waiter to open at your table. This is insane. I could see at $10 corkage fee if you bring your own, but really??"

"We had a lovely lunch with friends. The salmon salad was delicious; the wild salmon was perfectly pan-seared and the aioli dressing was done with a very light touch. The individual quiche lorraine was also quite nice, with a little salad on the side. The only slight negative was that the service was very slow. The dining room became very busy and there was only one server. It took a long time to get our food, but once it came we really enjoyed it."

"I am a spoiled eater and have high expectations. Marche Bacchus did not blow my mind or palate with any of their dishes but I cannot find one fault in the food or service; which is very rare. Every single plate that was ordered was cleaned. The service was perfection. The atmosphere on the patio lovely, and obviously with the wine store, the wine selection is great. I did go on a Sunday at 5:30pm which I mention because I think the service at most restaurants is better during off-peak hours. I just wish there had been at least one standout dish to me but I will probably forget this meal shortly."

"We had a very special occasion and the restaurant totally blew it! Made the reservation three weeks in advance and called ahead on the day of the event and talked to the manager so all should go well. Instead it was a total blow out. We have been to this restaurant many times and don't understand how they could not handle this special occasion? the table was not at all what we had requested. At checking they didn't even acknowledge us as they continued with paper work for sometime. The flowers we ordered through Open Table were never delivered to the table until I talked to the manager and he told me they never came and he was the one who would know. I pointed out to him that they were right under his nose on the counter. Food was very late"

"Poor service, went for lunch with 3 guest and they brought the soup and salad together, later got bread after asking several times. the best thing was the french fries, otherwise nothing special and it tok 2 hours to finally get all of our order and for us to eat and be able to get out of there. "This was our first time to Marche Bacchus - something we noted in our reservation. Despite hearing great things from friends at work, we were sorely disappointed by the service. It took 12-15 minutes to get our drinks, we had to ask repeatedly for bread (so I could enjoy it with my escargot) and the server failed to bring essential items like steak knives and seafood forks.
Despite the poor service, we enjoyed the ambiance, which was enhanced by a lounge singer and sparkling lake views. But, the food was only so good. We were originally intending on going to Vintner Grill for dinner, and although I'm glad we finally experienced Marche Bacchus, I can honestly say we should have gone to Vintner. The cuisine at Marche isn't anything special"

"Marche Bacchus has been a favorite for many years. Not anymore. The service was somewhere between attrocious and non existent.It took twenty minutes to be seated despite people leaving and empty table. Penny pinching owners serve meals with cheap paper napkins and linen table cloths. This was a champagne brunch. The waiter offered a second glass of champagne toward the end of the meal and tried to charge for it.Did remove from bill. Almost had to beg for rolls that took much to long to arrive.While French food tends to be served in small portions this could have been served on postage stamps.This is the second time in a row that we've dined there with uniformly poor service.See no reason to return. Will miss the ducks and the view."

"As usual, the food was very good. However, our server was not. It was Easter and they were busy. However, they were serving from a set menu and we were there almost 3 hours. OK I guess if you are looking for a quiet romantic dinner with one special person. However, we were two seniors with 3 teenagers. Not even a little bit fun for them. They do not understand and what I had hoped would give them an appreciation of "fancy" dining really turned them off. We will not be back. A shame because I loved taking my granddaughter there for our special lunches."

"This is my third time dining at Marche Bacchus. The first time was nice, the second time so poor that our meal had to be comped due to service issues. I had read that there was a new executive chef and he came with great reviews so I thought we would give it a third shot. It will definitely be the last time I come. This is such a beautiful place with great potential it is disappointing that they cannot get their service and food on board. We ended up leaving after our first course due again to a total absence of customer service and to be honest, mediocre offerings. On the positive side, it was a beautiful day and my soup was delicious although missing the avocado that it was supposed to be served with."
