"Had a great dining experience on our wedding anniversary. The food was incredible and cooked perfectly. Recommend the calamari--it was amazing. Also. Scallops and pork belly with peas andlima beans was excellent, light but filling. Scallop risotto was very tasty with lots for leftovers. Wine list was large enough--and enjoyed sipping om Chianti while eating the basil flatbread. Whether you're in the mood for Italian, or just looking for tasty options, Teca didn't disappoint us."

"This was the second time we have eaten at Teca. It was my wife's birthday and she chose this as the venue because we had a very good experience the first time. We asked another couple to join us. We had a little apprehension because often when you suggest a place that you had a good experience at, there can be a letdown. This was definitely not the case. The ambiance, food and especially the service was excellent. We were extremely satisfied and will absolutely return and will also continue to recommend Teca to friends."

"Do not expect to find any typical "Italian" dishes on the menu. Catch of the Day was calamari,in pickerel plenty Muskoka. Beef carpacchio & Caesar salad were excellent. No veal of any sort on the menu. The remainder of the menu was so haute cuisine it was almost unrecognizable as Italian food. Very, very expense,"

"It starts with the welcome. You are in the middle of Muskoka and a young lady welcomes you with Buenasera and the next question is how are you? That is, yes, polite but it get's for me a touch of artificial. By the way they learned other sentences in Italian. Buon appetito and buena notte.
But sorry to say our food was fair but not outstanding, which you would expect for location and price. Cesar salad was with too much mayonaise, minestrone tasted like tomato soup with beans (good was the idea with the garlic bread in the soup), the pulled lamb with mascarpone filled ravioli was undistinctive. The desserts tasted heavy and sweet but did not give a tasty experience."

"Teca is great food/service and great wine in a relaxed atmosphere. The classic/comforting Italian menu inside a cozy dimly lit room really made our adventure special. After a fabulous and relaxing day outdoors, it was nice to continue our state of relaxation over a glass of wine and great food. Every meal my husband and I had at Teca was beautifully presented and full of flavour. I personally loved the Spaghetti & Meatballs ; they are a must! The pasta was cooked to perfection but the star of the show really is the soft, moist meatballs; they are gigantic and soak up all the homemade tomato sauce. Our service with all the members at Teca was as perfect as the food and it felt like a vacation and cottage getaway combined into one."

"My family took me to Tecca for Mother's Day and I couldn't have been happier with the service and the meal! They don't have cheese cake on their dessert menu but our waitress presented me with mini chocolate and lemon cheese cakes from the other restaurant in the hotel. VERY IMPRESSED!!"

"Relative to many places in the world, Canada doesn't quite understand the concept of excellent service. Well, this does not apply at Tecca. "The waiter appeared to be totally inexperienced. Once ordered, the food took well over an hour to arrive at our table. Even then, my dish, which was an extremely overpriced, bland risotto, arrived 10 minutes after the other two people in my party received their dishes. We weren't the only people having issues. We noticed the table of three beside us experienced a very long wait as well. When their food arrived, only two dishes were delivered. The third person didn't receive her dinner until approximately 25 minutes later, and it was just penne! The two others had already finished their meals.

"My family and I were very disappointed with our dining experience at Teca. The four of us were there for dinner on Sunday, March 10, 2013. Service was very poor. After waiting more than 40 minutes after our appetizers were finished, we inquired about the entrees and asked how much longer it would be. We thought it was odd that we were still waiting when other tables who arrived later than we did were already served. The waitress told us that we had to still wait because according to her the steak I ordered would take longer to make since it was ordered medium well. When the food finally arrived, my son's pasta and meatballs were cold and dry and my steak was cold and rock hard. We left...could not eat food like this. It was terrible!"

"We attended Teca during a Saturday night stay in February. After trying to book a reservation on Open Table, there was only a 9:00 slot or later available to us. Upon check in we asked the restaurant if anything earlier opened up and were told they were completely booked. Upon arrival, we noted three tables completely empty. One was being used to hold all the wine ordered by another table. The service was very friendly and prompt, we we felt very rushed as the server stopped by many times after our arrival to keep asking if we were ready to order. Appetizer - beef carpaccio was delicious as well as the bread served at the table. Good value for wines by the glass, but cocktails and mains weer way overpriced for the quality."
