Japanese in concept, fusion in flavor, one can choose from an extensive market fresh sushi list or indulge in our pan-asian fusion cuisine.
"Always delicious! Being a big meat eater I am always amazed at how hearty and rich the "vegan" mushroom soup is! It's sublime. All sushi, salads and cooked foods are equally great. The big question is: What is the future for W.S. ??? Been rumored forever that they were closing....sure hope not!"

"Went on Father's Day which was an od night at Wabi Sabi. The waiters seemed overworked. Pleenty of young children which adds to some delay. The food was great as always,"

"I really like the combination of location close to my home, fun atmosphere, good (not phenomenal but good) food, good drinks and terrific service. I enjoy the peppers, the ceviche and the eggplant every time I go. Not sure i would travel across the city but if you are near the beach you could do far worse!"

"Our neighborhood favorite, year after year. The fish is always fresh and delicious, the menu has food for everyone, even if you don't like sushi (ribs, duck, salads,) and, I finally ate dessert and can't believe I had been missing that all these years (warm chocolate tart with ice cream and fruits-mmm and the banana fritters with almond ice cream-double mmmm!) The martinis here are also great and worth the price for Abbott Kinney restaurants! The staff is consistent and the service is excellent! We love Fumi and Gina and how they coordinate everything and are so genuinely sweet and welcoming. We don't sit at the sushi bar, but, that is always a scene!! Love Wabi Sabi!"

"Overall, I recommend Wabi Sabi I went there using a Blackboard Eats discount of 30% on a meal of at least $20 per person. We had some vegetable tempura (yummy), a Tiger Roll (a special at $19), and a bowl of sashimi. It was all very good. Service was good as well. However, due to the price, I likely would have skipped it had I not had the discount for a regular meal out."

"I ate at Wabi Sabi when it first opened. The sushi was less than mediocre so I never went back. I decided to try it once again, since it seems to be busy. I thought that maybe years later it would be better. It wasn't. Everything is nice about the restaurant, except the food. There are so many good sushi places in L.A. This one isn't any better than if I were buying sushi at a fast food restaurant. I wouldn't recommend to anyone."

"We don't eat sushi, but love the rest of the menu which is fairly priced and outstandingly prepared. Our sushi-eating friends love the sushi... fresh and tasty. Drinks are generous, often with an inventive special cocktail. Wait staff are excellent. No attitude at this Venice eatery, always a plus. Try the Happy Hour, too!"

"Although the food was good, I was disappointed with the waiter service. The waitress never checked in to see how we were doing; the food came out too quickly and all at once; and when we asked for certain things, like an extra spoon, she seemed annoyed. Both the host and the busboys were great, but unfortunately our experience was not as enjoyable as it could have been because of the waitress."

"Everything looks so good, be careful not to overorder. This isn't the top sushi in town, but its very good and reasonable for a place to go regularly. As our waiter said, no "hollywood rolls", but good basic rolls. Good service, decent food, decent prices. Seems to have a lot of kids for a friday night, so must be family friendly. Seems like a lot of regulars, known to staff, but as a "newby" you don't feel left out, very friendly waiter. Will return."

"First time there and I love this place! The service is awesome, everyone was very friendly. I only ordered the basics from the happy hour menu, but it was delicious! Everything was reasonablypriced. I've already got my menu planned for my next trip there. Go check this place out. You won't be disappointed!"

"The food was very good (especially the Vegan miso soup and Udon Noodle soup). The Tempura was very mediocre and could use work. The restaurant has also changed in that, more children dinning with parents,I don't remember that being the case years back. Service is great and attentive. Good place for 4 or more (small groups), too much noise for a "romantic" or quiet place to chat for 2. But would still recommend and one of my favorite places in Venice."

"What a great place! Whether small plates, sushi, or sashimi, everything at Wabi Sabi was delicious. We all shared a variety of dishes, from the wonderfully tasty ribs, with the tender meat practically falling off the bone, to the kale salad with a miso-esque dressing, to the salmon sashimi special and salmon roll that my dining companions enjoyed--it was all wonderful. I love that a non-sushi person (me) can dine well with sushi-lovers and all find treats. We finished the meal with the warm chocolate tart."

"The food is consistently good and the fish is always fresh. Love the albacore sashimi with the crunchy pieces of garlic in the sauce. The special of muscles in a lemongrass broth was delicious."

"While the food and ambiance were nice, the services was Fair. The food came out at different times, and one person's meal was at least 20 minutes behind the rest of us. The waiter came over to check once but then did not check on us or the person's food after the first time even though he walked past the table on multiple occasions. The waiter was not very attentive and also forgot our drink order in the beginning of the meal and argued with us that we did not order the beer."
