"Great food. Shrimp starter and scallop entree were delicious. Fish special was great also. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. The chef/owner greeted us after dinner and was very gracious. Only issue is the location: should consider moving to a more vibrant location and out of that stale/sterile business park."

"I made a reservation to celebrate my wife's birthday. There were 5 of us. But, there was also a party of about 20 people who took over the rest of the restaurant. While they were having cocktails they mingled very near our table. It was noisy and uncomfortable having that many people that close to our table. Food was good, service was average, since the staff was focused on the big party.

"2nd time for my wife and I at Global. It was our 21st wedding anniversary and we really enjoyed ourselves. Started with a cheese plate which was fabulous and nice bottle of wine.
Next was the endive salad the flavors of which left us wanting more... The wife had the monk fish and I had the paella, both of which were fantastic. We finished by splitting a desert and had two glasses of port. We cant wait to go back.

"Food and Service were great. This is our second time there. I suggest they keep new things on the menu to keep the expereince fresh. It was a cold and rainy night when we were there so it was almost too quiet. Actually the first time we were there it was quiet too which emphasises the remote location. They would do well to consider a better location at Stonecrest or the Arboretum where they would do an outstanding amount of business. But then we probably would not be able to get a reservation since they would be too busy."

"Dined valentine evening with my girlfriend. A five course valentine meal was served on that evening in place of the regular menu. This is a different place with a different mood. More european in the decor and music which we both liked. A small place that is hidden away from everything else. Will not go through the five courses but it was all very good and the desert was excellent. This is a pricey little spot but is a good choice for special occasions or business (i.e. expense account) dinners. We plan to return and sample the regular menu. Our meal for 2 with one glass of wine each came to $178.00 dollars plus tip."

"Would have liked to have seen a little more of a selection for the Queensfest menu. One of the appetizers and one of the main courses were very similar in texture (pork belly & veal). I didn't realize that the texture of both would be so similar or I would not have ordered one right after the other. Prices on the regular menu seemed very high for entrees. The quality of the food was excellent, though."

"This secluded hideaway is worth the effort to find. The food is mostly local organic fare served with a light French touch. Nothing is overdone or drowned in sauces and extraneous flavors. The wine list is deep enough for variety, and we've found the vintages pleasing. We've taken several out of town guests here and they've raved about it. When I eat out I like to order things that I don't prepare at home -- lamb, duck, paella -- all can be found on the menu and I've always been more than pleased. So follow the signs around behind Red Robin, or around next to Earth Fare, and drive around until you find it."

"although we went for the charlotte restaurant week, we ended up ordering off the regular menu. the she crab soup & pork belly appetizers were excellent! the entrees were very good also (portion size was a bit small however) . dining room is small & pretty noisy but we would definitely return due to the quality of the food!"
