"If you want a top 2% USDA piece of beef grilled in 1800 degrees oven and served on a 500 degrees plate, then this place is good enough for you. If you are looking to have a steak in a steak house experience, then look somewhere else."

"My wife and I enjoy going to Ruth Chris, this particular visit was not what we are accustom to. Service was not great, had the ask the waiter for bread plates and so forth. Food was not prepared correctly the first time, instead of preparing it fresh the second time, they just heated up some blue cheese crust and return the meal to our table. I was not pleased with this visit at all."

"We arrived on time for our reservation but there was a lot of confusion and we were left standing while the staff sorted out whatever the issue was. Excellent waiter, well informed and very helpful. Wish I could say the same about the food. It was just so so. A premium rib eye steak can be cooked to perfection very easily. Not sure how they could mess it up. We asked for medium rare. The steaks. Inside they were ok but the blackened char on the outside ruined the taste. The blackened char was bitter, really, I can cook a lower grade of beef myself and it will taste better. Much better steaks are available at the everyday chain steakhouses. Ok, we can say we have been there, but for sure will not return."

"This was our first visit to a Ruth's Chris. We received a gift card, so we used it on our anniversary. Being Ruth's Chris, we knew we had to try the steak. It was as good as advertised - the best I've ever had. They serve very generous portions of entree and sides. Thankfully our waitress, Taylor, told us this before we ordered, or we would have had far more food than we could have eaten. The mashed potatoes and the broccoli au gratin were excellent, but the steak is the star by far. Yes, it's pricey. We would only eat there on very special occasions, but this will definitely be our restaurant of choice for those special occasions."

"The pork chops are so delicious. I will definitely be back for more. My husband ordred the ribeye, ( a man who know his steaks )he said it was very good but when he tasted my pork chops he said they were better. This resturant is definitely our chose for another romantic dinner."

"I was heartbroken by the seasoning on the steak. Not only did I get the Cowboy Ribeye (Like I always do), but I brought a couple with us that had never been there to try that steak! They were mediocre at best! We had a nice time, and Martin was an AMAZING server. It was just sad that the steaks were so bad(This time). For $150, not bad. When the bill is $480, you expect it to taste a lot better than that."

"I take my wife to Ruth Chris every year for valentines day. They fell behind on the reservation about 30min due to the big crowd so I can understand that. The food is always good and the atmosphere is always nice. The service can be better when comes to refills."

"I took my husband to Ruth Chris for his birthday. What a MISTAKE! Our wedge salads were made with old lettuce-yellow with brownish edges. My husband's steak was good-not great (better at home). My choices were VERY limited due to my Celiac Disease/gluten free diet. The waiter would not allow me to order the seafood entrees gf. I ordered the barbeque shrimp appetizer which came out with bread in a thick cream sauce even after telling him I could not have any bread touch my plate. I sent it back, and the shrimp came out hard and rubbery. We were charged although I did not eat it. We did not get water refills. It was an embarrassment for a birthday meal! Atmosphere was dull - no booths. Ruth Chris was a very poor choice!"

"Price Value and ambiance to not work together. We had a poor table with terrible traffic pattern to rear of restaurant. The alcoves looked nice and the side and back room were okay. Center area is not good and at the price you feel like your in a Ruby Tuesday without the booths. Bar area is wasted space as well but nice. Would move some walls and fix things a bit. Servers were dodging guests as kitchen is side entrance creating crossing pattern for just about everything."

"By far probably the best Valentine's day dinner we've ever had. Our server, Brian, was very polished, yet not pretentious. The food was as good as the food we've eaten at other Ruth's Chris restaurants. Steaks are some of the very best. We also had Caesar salad and two delicious side dishes, as well as dessert and French pressed coffee. Definitely not cheap, but the absolute BEST dining experience we've ever had in Greenville. Highly recommend for a special occasion."

"I had half a T-bone steak on my plate. Although I was done with my meal, I wanted my left overs to go. My waiter's assistant never asked. She took my plate and dropped a napkin on top of it that belonged to another guest at my table. I've always been asked...fine dining is pricey so it shouldn't by waiters that anything left is disposable. My husband and I were disappointed with the omission to ask clarity."

"THE BEST steak I've ever had...period. I've had a lot of steaks from nice restaurants, and that was the best ever. Our server, Dusty, was superb. He was so polite, professional and pleasant. He was the same way with us as the table next to us who had several ridiculous requests(the man in a sweatshirt asked for A1 sauce!!) and minor complaints(the sweatshirt guy didn't know a "crabtini" was a cold dish). I wish the menu was a little bit more affordable because I would be back once a week for the steak. We will definitely be back for a special occasion. Thanks Dusty!"

The food and service were great. They also offer early dinner specials that include similar offerings all the time for $43 and $53.
